Parking was a tad expensive but really handy. We had a 2 bedroom apartment nice size rooms and great views and nice balconies. We had the northern most room which was a bit noisy from the bars in Victoria Park market. Would happily stay again.

we had such a good stay BUT, there is parking but you are not guarunteed a parking spot. so we had to park at whole different building parking lot and walk a while to the hotel. and the air conditioning starting tripping a ton of water. otherwise everything was great!

We were blown away by the room! Absolutely enormous. Huge living area, two reasonable size bedrooms. The kitchen area was great. Enormous balcony. We chose this hotel as it had a washing machine and drier (very conveniently in the bathroom). But everything else about it was great. We got the impression it’s a bit of a magnet for bigger groups of people (hotel was obviously strict about “No parties in rooms!”. However we heard no noise whilst staying. Walkable to the centre of town. Overall a great stay and a great find. Biggest hotel room we’ve seen in years! Nice staff on reception. Highly recommend.

Room was dirty, found random pills in the rug? Stains all over the chairs. TV in room didn’t work. Got verbally abused & threatened by guests when walking down our room hallway, then had to deal with someone outside trying to smash the glass sliding door with a scooter. The experience was all bad & I will not be recommending anyone stays here.

Staff were friendly on check in and check out. We couldn’t hear noise coming from other rooms or the hallway even though they were fully booked. The room had a very musty, funky smell when we came into it. The bathroom shower and sink drainage had mould that you could see in the crevices.

The hotel was in A good location, the 2 bedroom apartment was big and had lots of crockery, cutlery and appliances. The towels were plentiful & luxurious. The view was fabulous, so green & it’s outdoor area was a fabulous bonus. I loved the fact that we had a full sized washer & dryer. Unfortunately the unit had a musty smell that was a quite unpleasant & the soft furnishings, kitchen bench stool and dinning chairs had many stains. The bec was comfortable but the linen was tired, as top covers, we had a flat sheet, a very old synthetic doona and another flat sheet- it was warm enough but was not up to hotel standards.

Apartment was clean & in a good location in the city, higher floors have a good view of the harbour bridge, but the apartments are definitely in need of some TLC. We asked to move apartments as the first one we were provided had stains on the furniture & cracked cupboard doors, the second apartment was much better. Sound proofing could be better, we were 9 floors up and the sound of traffic was still quite loud.

Great location for Victoria Park and downtown Auckland. Family suite room was plenty big. Note 2 things: - Shower stalls bottom lip & door don’t meet, so water prays out easily, making the floor very wet after ea shower (& tile is smooth & flat, so slippery) - There is only 1 A/C unit in the main living room. None in bedrooms; no fans either. So in summer, these are hot boxes. (Window’s don’t open either)

Its in a great location the views from the room are cool with lots of glass in the rooms and very cosy. The no party policy is just words on the form. There was a lot of noise from upstairs and voices in the corridors at night. People throwing stuff off the balcony as well. Local restaurants and bars are impressive. I would stay again for the view and location. No double glazing which would have made rooms better. Shower leaked onto the floor but had good water pressure. Really nice balcony. Reception needs better signage it was only because I had read the reviews that I knew the coffee shop was reception. Its not bad just different.

We love staying in the 3 bedroom super suite. It's so spacious and very much feels like a home away from home. Views are amazing from the large decks. The check in procedure was extremely painful though. The receptionist was not able to communicate very well and left us baffled at times as to what she was saying. We wanted to park one car for the night, but this became a 15 minute ordeal to arrange. Pieces of paper were shoved in front of me with no explanation as to what I was supposed to do with them. I was not prepared with my reading glasses, and thus agreed to conditions which I was not aware of, such as the no smoking policy (even on the balconies) which could incur a fee nearly the full cost of the bond. When I was called after checkout and told that we had incurred this charge, I didn't dispute it, despite not knowing that anyone had smoked on the balcony - they had our credit card, so felt it would be too difficult to fight this. But even when I apologised the receptionist still raised her voice and continued to tell me off!!! She was rude, albeit STILL hard to understand. I would want to stay at Swiss Belsuites again, but do not want to deal with this receptionist again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The reception staff were very accommodating, as we arrived from Australia early & they looked after our luggage until we could get into our room - much appreciated. Abbey at reception was extremely helpful. The room was very quiet & spacious. This got us off to a great start in NZ.

Everything was good except at 10pm at night the 'night manager' burst into my room unannounced and without knocking first. It truly scared me and I couldnt sleep that night. His reason was apparently I was meant to get a room upgrade and be in a different room that night, so he thought my room was empty and there was a barking dog complaint he was investigating. None of it made sense. It was truly worrying. Otherwise I would have had a great stay. But that made me feel unsafe

We got there late and nobody was picking up the phone when we called so it took us awhile to wait for someone to open us from the parking lot. Also the guy from the reception wasn’t that welcoming and was inconsiderate when we asked for a late checkout. Even the way he spoke to us was a bit off and was kinda arrogant. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Also i bought a croissant in the morning and we felt it was old and not newly baked.

Terrible continental breakfast don’t waste your money on it. Also, almost a week on they still have a $300 hold on my credit card that hasn’t been released. They advised me when they asked me for it on check in, that it would be released on check out.

The property was great. Nice, roomy, bright with great city views. Buffet breakfast was as what you would expect with a continental breakfast. I had some issues regarding checking in with my late night arrival as there was no one on the desk. So had to give them a call. Second issue I had was regarding parking. Not sure whose fault is it. I had paid for 2 days parking at the hotel but got a infringement ticket from the parking officer on both of those days. The staff at Swiss Bel has promised to get the issue fixed and take care of tickets but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Vi boede i en suite med to soveværelser men det ene værelse havde intet vindue og ingen udluftning, så man skulle have døren åben ind til stuen for at udholde at sove der. Man skal være forberedt på, at morgenmaden er virkelig ringe. Toastbrød og cornflakes. Der blev ikke fyldt op, så vi skulle bede om noget, fx. Om de havde flere tallerkener, mere smør og brød osv. På den positive side var der en dejlig udsigt og det meste fungerede. Vi måtte slukke for air condition, da anlægget dryppede ret meget i brug, men man kunne åbne en skydedør ud til terrassen, så det gjorde vi. Også om natten.

The room was overall really nice-great view of the city, plenty of space, nice bedrooms, modern bathroom. The only complaints we had was we had booked a 2 bedroom with 1 queen and 1 king bed, but they only had 2 queens available. They did compensate us with free breakfasts which was nice. They don't provide room service automatically, but provide towels when asked. Great coffee shop downstairs and nice staff.

Their suits are very spacious and enjoyable with fully equipped kitchen, closet space, spacious balcony, and also washer/dryer. However, not being a standard hotel, their lobby was just a small space and not a lobby in true sense. No staff to help, you are pretty much on your own. No restaurants. Breakfast they offered was horrible and very limited. Orange juice tasted like artificial orange juice. If you need space and plan to make your own breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a great place to stay. Close to downtown shopping and restaurants.
