Best Western Plus/Executive Residency Elk City

Everything around is under construction. Pool is very green and slimy. Room is nice clean and quiet.

WiFi was terrible on property. The pool was disgusting with bird poop and feathers everywhere. Breakfast was good. Lots of options

Very nice. Glad they had nice fitness room.

Check in was kind of a hassle. The man working the front desk would hardly speak a word so a lady came out and was helping. Their credit card machine was having problems but they got it fixed. The fitness room is ok. Both treadmills have loose belts. Other than that it was good. Comfy room, good breakfast.

Softball tournament,qe stayed for one night and pool was nice. Room was clean and breakfast was good.

Excellent condition. Close to the interstate. Safe parking.

Great room, and super staff. Just need some handicap parking areas. There has been a few but all the signs have been removed. Makes it a little more difficult to get my Mom in the building with a wheelchair.

The good part was the staff. They were helpful and pleasant. The bad: the pool was disgusting looking, moldy and water so dirty you could only see a few inches down. It’s not pool season but it should still look clean. Our room was not clean…the comforter had clearly had someone’s boots or shoes on it. . The dishes were dirty and the silverware in the drawer was dirty. I was going to wash it before using but there was no soap, no sponge, and no soap for the dishwasher. We tried to get ice but the ice makers on our floor (3) and the second floor, did not work so we had to go down to the lobby. I did some laundry, and the price was actually very good, but there was no start button on the washer. There was an empty hole where it should have been. The AC worked well so that was a plus.

Was looking forward to swimming in the outdoor pool,however was informed on check in it was closed due to chemicals had been added. Our room was clean,however some areas in hotel were less than clean.

The hotel is convenient to I-40. The staff at check-in were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are nice. However, we had two significant problems during our stay. First, we found blood and hair on both the fitted and regular sheets. The staff gave us new sheets when we requested them. We do not think they original bedding had been washed. Second, the breakfast which was supposed to open at 6:30 was not open when we finally gave up and left at 6:50. Both issues were survivable, but not preferable. I wonder if they are having trouble with having enough reliable staff.

Will never stay here again! We arrived at 12:30 am weary from traveling. The lady at the front desk was friendly and courteous. She gave us our keys and sent us to our room. The first room we were in the door lock didn’t work correctly and the bathroom was covered in blood. Drips of blood all over. We asked for a new room at the front desk and the staff was very happy to help and concerned about the condition of the first room. She upgraded us to a suite at no charge. We moved our bags to the second room and upon arriving at the room the door was open before we even entered. I checked the room (as we were women traveling alone) after coating the room we began to try to get settled only to find out the tv in the room had no remote and wasn’t in working condition. The furniture in the room was filthy. I’m not sure how they are rated so high in stats but this hotel hasn’t been upgraded in years! The cleanliness les left EVERYTHING to be desired. Very disappointed. Best western had never let us down before but this was an epic fail! Do not fall for the high reviews!! Pick somewhere else… anywhere else! Outside of the friendly staff there just isn’t anything good to say about this dirty, dated, dis repaired property.

Starting with the positives. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We were on first floor and noise above us was awful. 5am sounded like a herd of elephants. Breakfast was meh. Coffee was very weak and there was only one carafe at 7am which ran out quickly. Would not stay here again.

This was definitely one of the nicer highway stops we have been to in a long time. Room was spacious with a full kitchenette

Nice staff, we had a quiet and large room. Website said down bedding - no way- not even all cotton, super scratchy. Building is run down outside, feels dated on inside and felt a lot like the owners lived there.

Room was right by Freeway and too noisy - didn’t have a good night’s sleep after driving 14 hours. Ck in front desk clerk was very friendly (& helpful w/TV)

Room large had a full/fully equipped kitchen area stove sink dishwasher table for 2 sitting area. You feel like you could almost live in there. Motel was off the highway so was very quiet would highly recommend

Hotel was fine overall, but the mattress on our bed was a disaster. Worse, when we told the front desk (manager?) the next morning, he informed us all their mattresses were very comfortable. Guess we imagined those springs coming through.

Nice rooms and clean. Only complaints are you can’t get the room dark for morning and you can hear doors around you early in the morning

Breakfast was served but you could tell the owner did not want to make any eggs to put out with the sausage patties and potato wedges and when asked, he stated that, “she is making some” while pointing at the lady kindly servicing the dining area and then we sat there for another 15 minutes at least finishing up what was made available and then we just went back to our room. This was approximately 9 am on a Saturday. He was rude and very short with his responses and he seemed to make the atmosphere feel as if he was being bothered if he was asked questions about anything at all really. I had already read reviews indicating he was like that towards previous customers so it did not surprise me but sure did disappoint absolutely…he was however trying to go without the making anymore eggs and he got away with it. I am sure we weren’t the only customers to leave unsatisfied!!! Oh, well…can’t win them all. I will pick and choose my battles but won’t stay at that Best Western again when visiting Elk City. BTW Elk City is a really nice town and the folks there are awesome to hang out with if you ever take the time!!!

The front desk staff was so nice and helpful to us

When I checked in I was given the key and room number so I went up to my room, much to my surprise when I unlocked the door and went into the room there was already someone in it!!! I was a single female entering a room that had a male staying in it already!! I ran for the elevator as he yelled “Who are you?? This is my room!!” I went to the front desk and told them what happened and they gave me another room but honestly I couldn’t sleep as I kept thinking if it happened to that guy it could happen to me and felt afraid someone was going to walk into my room. There was NO offer for a discount, free stay, NOTHING. Extremely scary and disappointing stay.

As soon as we entered the room, we notified the front desk about the issue with the TV. The staff at the front desk responded in a very nonchalant and passive-aggressive manner. The maintenance person said they would take a look at the TV, but they chose to do so at 12:30 in the morning, while my wife and I were trying to sleep. This raised significant safety concerns for us. When I reported this issue to the front desk, they didn’t seem to recognize the problem. As a result, I will never stay at another Best Western again.

The property is in an area that is surrounded by buildings under construction. The hotel was empty the night we stayed in. It seems the hotel was deserted. The key system didn’t work so we didn’t get a room key. Instead, the front desk personnel had to open the room for us. Every time we need to get into the room, they had to let us in. It was so inconvenient. We were not impressed with limited breakfast choices.

The stay was fine. But check in took forever. My husband had to ring the bell multiple times and call the facility twice while standing at the desk before the guy woke up and came and checked us in!

Fantastic! Arrived after midnight for check in and the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was very nice- I loved the bed and pillows!

Traveled for the dog show, so had my dog and two kids with me. Never once did I feel unsafe. The staff weee extremely kind and helpful, and we had a great stay!

Good location, good breakfast and convenient to downtown.

Property across the street is crawling with suspicious persons and activity. More exterior lighting and security cameras would be helpful.

The room was clean. The bed comfortable. The property seemed nice. The breakfast was okay. The only problem I saw was the area it’s in is run down. It looks as of a lot of places have gone out of business.

I was very happy with how close it was to my brother's place. It was convenient and a very nice property.

Very clean and spacious room. Inculded a kitchenette. No instructions for using the tv. Took too long to figure out. Breakfast was ok except the decaf coffee was cold. Hot water dispenser to make hot tea was also out of order. Yogurt dispenser was empty. There were less than five customers in the breakfast area and yet no empoyees were addressing these issues. Lastly, the google map information is wrong. This is not a new problem.

check in was quick and easy, breakfast needed more variety and unfortunately wasn't hot and fresh :( however the lady that was working in the dining area cleaning tables after breakfast was over was so sweet. She noticed that I had been standing up at the front waiting to check out for quite sometime though no one had came to my help me and she stopped what she was doing and attempted to help me, though she never figured out how to print me a receipt I didn't care the fact that she didn't hesitate to stop working in what I can only assume was her designated area and came to help me meant a lot to me. I wished I had got her name to give her the proper props!
