OYO Hotel Elk City OK Route 66

The hotel had a locked and completely empty office. Doors to rooms were open, no cars in the parking lot. We took a photo of the property to prove it was a mess, and a woman came out of no where screaming about us taking pictures and took a photo of our license plate. We left immediately Hotels.com was AWESOME at handling this for us, and we were refunded and compensated.

Looked like poop or mud in the corner of the shower. There was no remote for the tv. Other than that the water pressure was good in the shower and the bed was very comfortable

The room was clean. They are renovating the whole place. Check in was hard to find, mainly because the hotel next door was also the OYO but still had the old sign up. The staff was really nice and accommodating. Restaurants close by.

Parking was fine. Staff never answers the phone. I walked in to the lobby and it took a long time to get help. Additionally, the pillows in our room had mildew and stains. There were cigarette ashes in the bathroom and in the tub, and the chair was stained as well. Once we saw the room, I returned the key and left. There’s no way I was going to stay there with 2 children.
