The staff here was the best of the best. Every single one of them was kind polite and very helpful. I had an issue with fedex and the lady working was nice enough to check the camaras and verify they never came. Late at night when we got home the gentlemen working hung out with us and let us be silly and make balloon animals. Our room was comfy cute and clean. No parking on site but free street parking was easy to find.

We had a wonderful time. the attendant was very friendly and helpful with great recommendation for activities and dining options. Would definitely stay again. No parking garage so you had to park on the street which was okay felt safe parking on street a block away.

We stayed 2 nights and found the room to be small but adequate. Coffee was good and the continental breakfast was a nice perk. A couple friends and I sat at the bar and had a frw drinks before bed - very convenient, quiet place to catch up. Unfortunately, we had folks who like to party staying across the hall from us. It sounded like they were moving furniture, and when we finally opened the door to see what was happening, they had their bed leaned up against the wall to make space for their get together at 4am. At least they shut their door at that point. The next night they were using power tools (drill/driver?) in the middle of the night. They were much quieter after the front desk spoke to them.

The staff is friendly and the room was small, but perfect for our needs. The bar is open 24/7 and has a great happy hour. It is close to public transportation and a good long, but doable walk to the quarter. I would return without a second thought.

Was wonderful!! Enjoyed the beautiful decor, clean, quiet, lovely. We definitely enjoyed Kiedra was very wonderful at the bar great conversation. Will definitely come back!!!

The room was really nice and very clean. Great rate. Free street parking was safe. But the staff... the best. Super kind and very helpful - especially when I needed help with printing. I would stay again in heartbeat.

Clean room. We had a couple of neighbors in hallway that could have been a little quieter at 6 am and at 2 am We walked to WWII museum, walked to concert at Smoothie King, and took nearby trolley to the edge of French Quarter. A great location. All staff were very helpful & friendly.

In between it all, this was a gem to stay at located wham bam in the center of anything and everything you could want. Easy access to street cars, busses, and with free parking around the neighborhood it made for easy parking and transport. The facilities are quaint, cute, and unbothered. Quirky but not fancy one bit. It's not the most immaculate or clean place, stains on walls, in bathrooms, and dusty windows and ratty curtains are all part of the stay as well. For the value, location, and excellence of the staff I would definitely consider staying here again. Perfect for a solo traveler.

We really had a great time at the Quisby. The staff was delightful, the decor was super cute, our room was small but nicely appointed. It was my husband's birthday. I called ahead, and I had flowers and cake delivered to the hotel to put in the room before we arrived and they took care of it and did a great presentation. The room was quiet, the blackout curtains work great, and we had everything we needed.

Overall it was a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room did not have a dresser or a closet- there were a few hooks for clothes. The one morning there was no breakfast left at 9:30am. The floor in the room could have been swept/mopped. All happy hours at the bar were discontinued in the middle of our stay which was disappointing. Otherwise, was a very functional stay.

The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and the room was very clean. The hallway carpet could definitely be replaced. The room was very cool with a bunk bed for my son, and the street car practically comes to the front door so getting around is easy. The walls were so thin however the the people staying next to us and had an alarm set for 5:30 both morning literally vibrated my headboard until I banged on the wall as he didn't answer it for about 20 minutes the 1st day. Overall fun stay.

The building was newly renovated, but the room was small. There is no onsite parking they only had street parking on the other side of Popeyes Chicken, no closet to hang your clothes and the TV is a smart TV, but no regular channels you have to use your own personal account to make the TV work.

Kinda got exactly what we expected for what we booked. The room was fine although a bit smelly on arrival but it passed. The aircon was a bit noisy but we got used to it. The bed was a little soft but comfy enough for a few nights. Breakfast was a little limited but we found enough to eat each day. Most of the staff were pretty friendly and chatty. The hotel was in a good location, we parked on the next door street free of charge for the duration of our stay. The walk to the French quarter was easy enough, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. There were some undesirables on the streets on the walk into town so recommend a cab after dark. Only other thing was the streetcar wasn't operational from outside which was a shame. All in all, was a perfectly fine stay :)

I stayed at The Quisby before it changed froma hostel to a hotel. It's in a convenient area to access the French Quarter. The streetcar passes right in front of it. Since it was a hostel, the rooms are a little small but that didn't bother me. The service is excellent and the breakfast was really good. I was concerned about parking but I was able to do street parking a street over. Overall, a good, no frills place to stay.

Rooms have everything you need, simple efficient. The heating/cooling unit in the room is loud and not good at actually keeping the room cool. The blue light in the mini fridge is horribly bright, needed my eye mask. So reasonable for this city that you can handle the odd inconvenience

The room was very small. It worked for our 1 night for 2 adults. The complementary breakfast was very very limited. First staff member we came in contact with was very rude, on her phone, played inappropriate music in the lobby. The lady we checked out with was friendly. Overall it was what we needed for the night but wasn’t a great experience.

We stayed at this hotel because we were dropping my daughter at college. This hotel was awesome all the staff and I do mean all no matter the position were friendly and personable. They made the stay great and even though it wasn't required they offered me some of the best advice and encouragement about leaving my child for the first time. Me and my sister definitely enjoyed our stay and whenever I'm back I plan on staying here!! Thank all of you again. Oh I forgot it's very clean and the only thing I'm disappointed with is we missed karaoke due to having to handle some things with my daughter...I know this was the first one but I do see it being a hit because Y'all was turnt when we left and we loved it!!

Great little no frills hotel easily walkable to much of downtown New Orleans. Has a younger, hipper vibe than most hotels but was totally fine for our family of four and the kids loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Street parking was pretty easy and the streetcar runs right in front of the hotel.

The Quisby is a quirky, no-frills hotel with perks for budget travelers that I greatly appreciate (a free drink, free breakfast, a good atmosphere). The AC worked like a charm despite the extremely hot weather, and the rooms were much quieter than I expected. The staff was friendly for the most part. The main issue was the area. Even though well connected to the streetcar and close to museums, the highway underpass that connects with Downtown feels unsafe, especially for solo travelers.

The Quisby Hotel is terrific! Great locaton on St Charles Ave, terrific restaurants walkable nearby, the French Quater is nearby as well if that's your thing, plus great museums very close.

Quirky and comfortable hotel within a 5 minute walk of the WW2 museum and 25 minute walk to the French Quarter. Quieter in the sense there are no bars nearby just some traffic noise which didn’t bother us. Simple but adequate breakfast. Friendly staff. All very good with this hotel.

I really liked the price. Loved thar it was away from downtown, so I could get out and see some of the local neighborhoods during evening or afternoon walks. The walk to downtown was about 30 minutes.

All the staff were very nice and friendly. Loved that you are right across a streetcar stop going to Canal street. Good breakfast food — decent amount of options with good quality at least for free hotel breakfast. Overall, would recommend to stay when in New Orleans
