The property is well kept and the staff were great. The surrounding area is a bit average but a better food offer was only a couple of blocks away. As a functional place to stay overnight or two this property is fine. No swimming pool, gym or cafe just a comfy room for the night, so if thats all you need this property ticks all the boxes.

Not the usual Ramada standard as housekeeping wasn’t very good, only one towel, no sink or bathroom plug, one dinner plate, and the room needed a good clean, lots of dust. We have always enjoyed our stay at the Ramada but this trip was somewhat disappointing.

The room was passable for a 1 night stay. However the room felt negleted. The walls were marked. The rubbish bin lid was broken. The shower was dirty and mouldy and the shower hose was missing parts. These are easy fixes but does require some attention to detail. We have stayed here twice and both times have experienced the same standard which is disappointing.

Have stayed here before on ooening week 6 or 7 years ago so booked again. Unfortuantely the 2 bedroom apartment we had smelt extremely damp and musty (room 316). No opening windows so nothing we coukd do about it.so just put ip with it. High tiuch areas like light switches, fridge etc hadnt been cleaned. Staff were wonderful and after hiurs access on public holiday great. Linen etc was clean as were publix areas. Probably wouldn't stay again unless cleaner and the musty eater smell fixed.

A very clean hotel with nice modern studio rooms that feature a comfortable double bed and plenty of room. The room was well lit and easy to move around. A good location with the Northern Motorway close by albeit a very urbanized setting. Some Asian food outlets are next to the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I paid NZ$160/night which was a little on the high side. All in all, a very comfortable stay.

This property is near major transport links - motorways and bus routes the Albany Sports stadium and Westfield Shopping Centre Albany. The apartment was a 1-bed unit but the smallest I have ever encountered. The bedroom was just bigger than the King bed in it, the Kitchen had just the appliances and the 'living' area had room only for a 2-seater couch, coffee table and card-table sized dining table. The hose to the shower head leaked and water pressure was very low.

Counter Staff was helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. One downside is the noise from outside - every now and then we would hear the racers go past the hotel. Other than that, the stay was good.

We had a one bedroom apartment. The room was lovely and spacious, enough room for the two of us. However the extractor fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy & it didnt turn off until about 15 mins after we turned the light off. The drier was also very loud, never known a drier to be so loud. Apart from the noise, it was a good stay and walking distance to Westfield and restaurants.

Reception was closed when I got there (30 mins before the email said it would). It took me over an hour to get into the room. When I got into the room it was not cleaned and there was a surprise in the toilet. I tried calling to get it resolved and no one would answer.

Reception at check in was rude and unprofessional. Only received wine when we asked for. Said NO directly for room upgrade without even checking. Air conditioner in the room was making funny noises. Fridge was running like a road machine. Remote control for TV was broken. Water in shower was not enough pressure.

Overall I like this hotel however on this instance late check in was challenging with the intercom not working and then some communication issues. Probably would have been easier to communicate via text or email lock box code to enable check in.

We caught the bus from Auckland CBD to Albany Station. Very quick. 5 minute walk to hotel, just follow the partially covered walkway. Nice Unit with Basic cooking and other Mod cons. It is 15 minutes walk to Westfield Albany. Great Shopping. We had a great time here. We have booked to come back.

This is a quiet, clean, comfortable and secure feeling hotel. Not really close to city attractions, but close to the freeway and easy access with a car. Good parking available. We enjoyed the pubs, restaurants and beach at Brown's Bay a five minute drive.

Ramada Albany offers a good standard of accommodation for those visiting or working in the Albany area. The rooms are of a good size, clean, bed was super comfortable, shower was ok. The only downside was the boy racers driving up and down the hotels road until 2 am, on a Saturday night. I’m sure it’s quieter during the week.

All excellent, washer and dryer in room too. Enjoyed a meal at Mr Charcoal underneath the hotel . Wouldn’t hesitate to return, highly recommend.

Although the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant, there are tonnes of really nice eatery or fast food options literally right outside the front door. Only very minor thing was that the TV in our room didn't have Chromecast, but the handbook indicated it did/should, which would have been nice to be able to cast Netflix from a small device to the TV. Very friendly staff - even the cleaners! Enjoyed our stay, would go again.

The staff here are friendly, polite and service orientated. The apartment was large and ver clean. There are excellent Dining choices close by and a great shopping centre and restaurants 15 minutes walk away. A great three day beak for us.
