Holiday Inn - New Orleans Airport North by IHG

I was told parking was included. We are locals and we’re just trying to get some extra sleep for early am flight. I just got charged $150 to park. I’m a local and just should’ve taken an uber. No customer service.

There is a restaurant/bar but it was closed by time I got in after 10pm. Bed was comfy but hall was noisy. Staff was super excellent!!!!! Didn’t care for the shuttle drop off to pick up my rental car the next morning with no instruction just drop and go.

The bar and restaurant were great!

Staff was very kind and helpful. We appreciated the airport shuttle as we had an early flight out the next morning. Room was clean and comfy. Many of the pool lounges were broken and there were no pool towels stocked.

Yes the air condition was very effective. I wish the bar had more options to eat. Over all it was good experiences

Bathroom had no slip proof shower/bathtub. Fell and made a report, have heard nothing from management. Ice maker not operable and swimming pool was dirty.

I always stay here when flying out of New Orleans. The hotel staff is always very helpful and polite. I also use the parking lot service while we are away and have never had any problem. Five star rating in all categories.

Free shuttle was good but the pool being closed sucked as it was the only reason we booked this location.

Towels and bathroom were just filthy for a friarly new and an IHG property and for the price that was charged.

Hotel was clean. Staff was very nice. The shower curtain had a bad mildew smell. But otherwise, everything was good.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle was on time. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast but I'm sure it would have been really good. We would definitely stay there again given the chance

Felt dirty, was hair in the bath tub. Not the normal one hair stuck to the shower curtain, but a good bit of random hairs. Towels looked dirty,frayed at the ends. Looked old and dirty. We asked for some more towels at the front and she said no towels until 3:00. Ended up finding a cleaning person in the hall. I’ve machine was dirty. Beds were comfortable and clean.

Overall had a good stay, I would say this hotel is average in terms of affordability and getting what you paid for. Couple things stood out to me during my stay, first walking into our room there was a moist/musty smell and the room felt damp. When I went to lay down it felt like the sheets were damp because of overall moisture in the room. The bed was comfortable but other than that the smell in the room of moisture did not sit well with me. Next, we got towels with our room and didn’t get any more throughout our stay. When asking for new towels, we were told they were out or we had to be put on a list. Considering check out was in an hour I don’t know how someone would shower or get clean for the day without a towel. So we had to roadtrip back home with no shower. The only thing that kept this hotel from getting a 1 or 2 star was the staff. They were always kind in their responses, even over the phone.

The bathroom in 315 was not clean with blood on the wall and in the shower. The shower head was broken and unusable. They did move us to another room, but was smaller and didn’t change our price. The new room 309 was in better condition but still dirty around the edges. There was a smell. Dank, as if the linens weren’t fresh.

Room was very clean and quiet. Even being so close to the airport, we heard nothing. Service was excellent, and staff was friendly. Will be using this hotel again

Great stay. Extremely convenient for airport travel. Noise blocking rooms. Great staff.

Check in process very pleasant. Staff very helpful. Room has a couple glitches including a very loud AC unit, and flashing light in ceiling every 30 seconds all night. Overall very nice hotel

This hotel is very convenient to the airport and the shuttle staff were friendly. The check in was fine but I didn’t find the staff particularly friendly. Our room was very clean but had a musty smell.

Tv in room does not work. Maintenance could not get it working.

I had a problem with the door not locking once it was closed. Maintenance guy had to come fix it more than once.

It was a great stay very close to the airport. The manager and the shuttle bus driver went out of their way to be helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We arrived super early. We were greeted by Alesha at the front desk. She was really nice & professional. Once house keeping arrived & had rooms ready we were able to check in early. We will stay here again.

Unfortunately the free shuttle was not available when we arrived. Edwin was very apologetic about the unexpected issue. Once we arrived, Edwin was very friendly and accommodating. We discovered that some our belongings got wet and Edwin helped out out with letting us buy quarters for the dryer. The next morning, Michael was able to return us to the airport and dropped us off where we requested l. He was very personable and pleasant to talk with. We were only there for one night, but would definitely return if we were in the area again.

The hotel is convenient for those traveling in and out of New Orleans. We had an early flight and we received our 3:30am wake up call at 2:30am. The front desk had also overbooked the airport shuttle by like 30 people, so it was a fiasco trying to get to our 6am flight. We signed up for the shuttle the night before, so I'm not sure why they would over book the shuttle. Other than that, we have stayed here a few times and it's a great hotel.

Terrible service. Hotel Clerk was rude. She did not want to do any more then she had to.. She did not try and accommodate our team.. We did not even stay here at Hotel. We ended up booking another hotel across street at Comfort Inn... I will be demanding refund because we did not stay.

The service at the hotel location has been wonderful. The facility is clean and updated. The staff is professional and responsive. I would like you to commend Ms. Lindsay Hubert on the impeccable service she provided. So had been very helpful. Lindsay has gone above and beyond. She even helped me with a difficult taxi driver that transported me from the airport to the hotel went I arrived. Lindsay’s sense of professionalism, and the care, concern courtesy she has showed make me feel like a very special customer.

The hotel was nice, quiet, clean, safe. But what made it a great experience was the staff! Everyone greeted us whenever we walked by the front desk and seemed genuinely kind. Each and every staff member was super kind. The restaurant staff was super friendly and helpful!

This reservation was booked well in advance through Expedia and yesterday I even confirmed with someone via messaging that we would be arriving late when inquiring about shuttle services. I was reassured that if there wasn't a shuttle available because of our late arrival we would be compensated for us having to pay for a taxi. In this correspondence we were never told that our room would not be held. (please see the attached screen shots of this conversation). We traveled all the way from Seattle Washington for a tournament my daughter is participating in, so please imagine how upset we all were to find that at nearly 1am there was not room available. To make matters worse that your sister hotel also had no rooms available. Mind you I am well aware of the confusion in this instance but we we had already found/paid and were nearly to our new hotel of choice via the taxi. NO WAY WERE WE GOING TO TRUST OR TURN AROUND TO GO TO THE SISTER HOTEL AFTER THE EXPERIENCE WE JUST HAD AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. We were tired, frustrated and pissed off of the situation especially knowing you were well aware of out late arrival. Not to mention the fact that ince we did land, I called specifically to request a shuttle and I was told by the receptionist that I would have to take a taxi for the reimbursement. Now that was two opportunities where I could have been told there was no room held for us. Never in my experience of traveling have I have encountered a situation like this.

The hotel itself was good. However the guest service person was literally yelling profanity with another employee in front of us and other guests. It was very uncomfortable for us all. I am extremely disappointed with this.

Front desk staff was rude and unhelpful when asked questions. Do not count on the shuttle!! The rooms were clean, bed comfy and shower felt amazing. Good location for somewhere to eat close by. The hotel does offer parking for airport, $15 a day. However, the SHUTTLE that is offered for free never showed after 4 calls when arrived back from trip. The staff was rude when called, continued to say 10 minutes. After waiting an hour and 45 minutes, a Uber finally had to take me to my car at the hotel. No shuttle ever showed!!

Conveniently located to access airport. We had a very early flight and this was a good place to stay.

The accessibility to the airport without the sounds of planes was surprising! Great stay for an early morning flight the next day.

We ended up switching to this hotel after we were unhappy with our initial stay somewhere else. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and our room was clean! Airport shuttle is a big plus. But note that if you’re trying to go to the main areas of New Orleans, this is about 20 to 30 minute drive away- lots spent on Ubers!

Close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle service. Nice pool and deck area. Restaurant on site. Nothing else in walking distance. Staff very helpful. Appreciated that they gave early check-in to all the cruisers who had to stay overnight before their flights.

Convenient to restaurants the airport and highway. 15 min ride to downtown area. I came for the Wayne concert I enjoyed my stay.

Continental breakfast was $16 is insane. At least make homemade breakfast if you want to charge

Cece in the restaurant is amazing, we were greeted and taken care of so well at breakfast. You can tell she loves her job!

Hotel rooms were clean and nice for this property. Area around hotel are not nice but fine for a quick stay if you have an early flight. Hotel restaurant is mediocre. The restaurant is very short staffed and food was hit or miss.

Cleanliness is good but could be better. Wish there's a way to fully cover the window with the blinds in the room cause couldn't figure out how and it's too bright if the blinds aren't closed. Rachel was great serving us at the restaurant. It's a good hotel for a quick stop.
