Had to pay for parking 2 blocks away as part of my stay. The tiny parking lot they had was hard to navigate in. Room had no A/C control, on the wall but did nothing. The windows had powered blinds that did not work and I had to fix it to close them. Lighting was horrible with only small lamps in the room. Would have saved over half the price to stay 3 miles away in a better hotel. Overpriced and horrible! Stay away!!!!

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but it really is a comfortable, clean, and updated downtown hotel. Customer service was very good with friendly employees. Room was clean with updated amenities and comfortable bed . Breakfast buffet had multiple hot food options and was well stocked. So very close to the T-Mobile Center and that was a huge plus leaving a concert. There were text message communications which were a nice touch. The one downside is parking. Plan to pay $20 and the lot behind the hotel is small. There apparently is overflow parking but I got there early enough to not have to deal with it. Bottom line, I'll be staying there again for any downtown concerts.

Sielyn was an awesome desk clerk, very friendly and helpful! Parking wasn't good, was charged $25 per night, lot was full the second night and we had to pay again to park on street. Was told $25 would be refunded but as of now it hasn't been. Also the site said made to order omelets for breakfast and that was not true. Otherwise we enjoyed it. Good location! Slow elevators though!!

NO PARKING!!! There were major issues with parking, as in not enough parking. I counted the parking lot spaces and they were insufficient for the amount of rooms and guest. After going out to dinner we returned to a full parking lot. It happened twice.

We had a good stay. Would stay there again. I don't agree with the $25 a night parking charge. When we paid $200 a night to stay, you would think the parking would be free. The parking lot is so full that we almost didn't get a spot. So if I would have had to park on the street after paying $50 for the two nights, I would have been pretty upset. Otherwise it is a great hotel and very convient for going to the T-Mobile center for concerts.

Terrible experience. Will never stay there again and recommend nobody does Very old building converted to a motel. Only 20 parking spaces in very small parking lot and guests have to pay $25/night or find offsite pay for parking several blocks away. They don’t advertise this until a non-refundable advance payment is made. A complete scam Street racers spinning tires all 4 nights there until about 2 AM and hotel apparently didn’t care to call the police. Impossible to get a full nights sleep Room was micro small. Only about 3’ total around the bed. Two people can’t pass each other without turning sideways Half of the elevators didn’t work It’s a horrible choice that should be avoid.

Smell of smoke towards the bathroom/ back of room- sat am. Talked to front desk attendant about the situation. Bathroom sink drain not working properly. Heating system was not working properly throughout stay. Great check in and front desk service.

The room was super clean and it was a very quiet stay. The only complaint I have is with only a barn door on the bathroom, it is not very private! Breakfast was hot and delicious!

Bathroom counter has dirt build up on it. We were ground level with huge windows that you could see into our room from the outside. You can hear everything from the street and inside the hotel. So we slept terribly. For the price we paid for one night I had hoped for a peaceful night sleep.

This property was in a Nice Location downtown with easy parking and access to the TMobile center and other shops withing walking distance. I liked that it was well maintained and very clean. The staff was very helpful when we had a sensor go off in our room and promptly moved us to an upgraded room down the hall. In addition, we left items behind in our room and they quickly shipped them to us the next day.

Very nice hotel. Very close to T- mobile arena. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue was that we could not control the room temperature from our room thermostat . We had to call the front desk and ask them to change it. The parking $25 overnight parking was very convenient

Closest hotel to t mobile center! Large rooms. Our room was cool but couldnt get rid of the humidity and the AC is locked so cannot adjust. Beds and breakfast were okay. Overall would stay again if hitting a concert at t mobile center...so close..walk across the street.

Great location! Outside doesn’t look like much but inside was actually nice and the room was much bigger than I anticipated. Plenty of cheaper parking if you don’t want to pay the hotel fee. Staff was friendly and recommended places I should try. Happy with my one night stay.

It was unusually noisy in the room. You could hear all outside sounds including voices all night long. And in the middle of the night it got insanely humid and hot in the room even though the AC was on full blast

Hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good. The lady that works the breakfast was so sweet and kind. She sang to us. We had a nice conversation with her. She was wonderful. However the lady that checked us in acted like we were putting her out just to check in. My email confirmation said check in was at 3:00. We got there at 2:50. She told us check in was 4:00. I explained our confirmation info. She reaffirmed that they did not have any clean rooms. Asked for my phone number to text me as soon as one became available. By 3:50 I decided to go back in. I asked where the public restroom was. She told me it was occupied. Then said 'oh I was about to text you'. But seemed put out. Location is clean and appears to be safe. Right beside the T-Mobil arena.

The customer service was exceptional on every level. Michael checked us in and was top notch! Friendly, helpful, and funny! The breakfast was a full spread, fresh and delicious. There was a lovely woman with beautiful, long braids and sunshine in her soul that greeted us at breakfast, every morning with compassion and love. I didn't catch her name, unfortunately. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay and look forward to returning.

My only issue was one of the front desk employees. They told me repeatedly that my room was not ready for check-in. Finally, an hour past the initial check in time, a manager came out to assist in running the front desk. He immediately gave me my room key even after the employee had told me there were no rooms available. Despite them checking in people (that had not even arrived to the property when I had to tried to check in) that go there half an hour later than I did. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Clean rooms and in a nice area. The parking was easy to find!

I was really impressed with the staff. I was checked in by a young woman and I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she made everything just fabulous. It really struck me while there that the staff works as a team because I always saw people on point, cleaning a bit, checking in with guests. And no one was just on their phone hanging out behind the front desk. The front desk staff was super helpful. And, even when there was an issue with the stove one morning, the kitchen staff was friendly and trying to get guests a decent breakfast. My room was very clean and super comfortable. Also, Meghan went out of her way to help me with my receipt after I left the hotel and had lost it. I have rarely had such a good experience in a chain hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

We came to KC for a concert at the Midland and was very pleased with the hotel. The location was perfect. We parked at the hotel and didn't have to drive anywhere for 3 days. It was 4 blocks from the venue and all the restaurants, bars and the train to be able to venture into other parts of the city.

Visiting KC for two evenings and had no idea where to stay. Chose this hotel based on Expedia reviews. It did not disappoint. Easy check-in, clean, helpful staff, good breakfast and even had singing entertainment from staff at Saturday breakfast. We would definitely choose this hotel again.
