I usually like staying at this location. But my stay was under par. Elevators were out during my stay. When I left on Sunday I had to take a service elevator down to the lobby. What an experience. No one seemed to be apologetic

The room was intimate, but spacious, had Texas character with an awesome bathroom. Beautiful lobby, lounge and restaurant. The pool area was nice, but a bit too small for holidays. Check in was pleasant and seamless. Great location! Wish we could have stayed longer for our 32nd anniversary!

Parking was not easy. Lots of people parking that were not staying at the hotel. No easy access into the hotel from the parking garage. Needs more amenities and dining options for the price of the room!

My pillow had a blood stain and the bathroom tub and floor needed to be cleaned. Other than that, the rooms are nice and the staff was great. I loved the location. Easy to get to shopping and dining.

The staff were great. The lobby was beautiful and check-in went quickly. Once in the room, I could tell it could’ve been cleaner. The carpet was covered with crumbs and dried mud. Lots of dust everywhere. Lots of scuff marks on furniture. The room was very quiet and that’s always my top priority.

We tried the Renaissance based on a recommendation. The staff took 20 minutes to check us in. Then when we got to our room the keys didn’t work. There was only 1 cup for coffee for 2 of us. We had to ask it to be replenished everyday. Lastly the shower had pink and black mold in the grout not feeling very clean at that point. So for 1/2 the rate I’ll stay down the street at a hotel that is better.

I have stayed at this property before and always had a good experience in the past. This time they put me in room 1506. There is all kinds of work being done on that floor. No one should have been put on the floor. The whole floor was covered in Home Depot brown paper, walls and floor. Dust was everywhere. I even took videos. There was knocking across the hall late night and it appears it was the staff elevators. Terrible room and poor experience.

My husband and I enjoyed a night away for a delayed Valentines celebration. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Our room was ready early which was very nice. The room was nicely appointed with a very clean bathroom. The location was great, close to all of the restaurants and shops. The only reason for leaving a 4 star is for the uncomfortable bed. It was just too firm to be comfortable. I realize it's a hotel and not my home, but I expect a better mattress at such a luxury hotel. I have experienced more comfortable mattresses at lower priced hotels. And while I love all of the extra thoughtful touches of a better hotel, I also love a good night's sleep.

Walls seemed very thin. You could hear everything from room next door. Had to call front desk with noise complaint at midnight. They did respond rapidly and noise stopped.

Wifi didn't work in the room, We were suppose to have a microwave in the room when we got there but ended up having to run one down. The thermostat kept readjusting to 78 degrees. Had to deal with all of this with a baby as well.

Only downside to the stay was that it was noisy in the morning when the house keeper was cleaning around the rooms next to ours. The walls are thin and you can hear people walk in the hallway but other than that everything else was great.

I have been waiting for 40 minutes to get my car. I paid for valet service to get faster and convince, not for 40 minutes on slow day. I was wondering how you forgot to bring my car to the door? This is not fair to pay for the service but not getting it.

Customer Service at the Hotel sucks from the manager to some of the from line staff. I drove from Houston to Dallas to attend an event. The room was not ready at check in I waited over an hour to check in only to be offered a step down room at the only choice. I explained I was from out of town and was late for my event. The response was it was that or nothing. The next day I asked for breakfast the lady at the front desk was so rude. Customer Service at this hotel is so poor and it starts from the manager.

The staff and every employee there was outstanding. The property, the rooms, lounge, restaurant and club lounge were all excellent. Even the valet and shuttle bus driver were great. The team there seemed to love working there and everyone wanted us to have a wonderful time. This property stands out and I travel frequently.

Ainsley was awesome. He was attentive and showed compassion for my Hubby’s birthday, which we were there celebrating. He will definitely be one of the reason we send family and friends to stay there. Just a very genuine person.

We’ve stayed here many times after staying at multiple other Hotels in the DFW area over the years. The location, proximity to shopping literally right outside the lobby, hospitality, on site dining, cleanliness, and staff make this an experience that’ll be hard to surpass in the foreseeable future.

I like the location. You can walk out the hotel door to shopping and dining. Great restaurant selection depending on your price preference. Sometimes the hotel gets a little too busy on Saturday’s with special events but otherwise a great stay

the whiskey bar food was bad , order some wings they were cold and nasty . also my drink was incorrect ,when ordered . and the drink may have been a ounce.. it was ridiculous.... only holds this property back is that whiskey bar
