Nice hotel within easy walk of Ao Nang beach. It’s on the main street leading to the beach so near lots of restaurants, bars and shops but still pretty quiet (even the rooms on the road). There are 2 nice pools and great views from the deluxe rooms in the main building. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are really good size and clean

Helt okej hotell, behöver troligtvis lite renovering och omsorg. Handdukar är rentvättade, men känns missfärgade och slitna. Tycker att hotellet och inredningen känns lite mörk. Frukosten är genomsnittlig, men ger i alla fall en bra start på dagen. För övrigt så är de två poolerna som finns bra och det finns tillräckligt med solstolar om man vill sola.

This hotel has 2 buildings with reception at the higher one. While we waited for a room I have used the reception area bathroom. The bathrooms were repulsive. The reception area clerk waited till 3 pm ( their check in time) to provide us with room keys even though they were available in our folder. This is not a standard for Thailand. Our room was to be King size bed however we were given 2 double beds which means absolutely no room for your suitcases or to walk around your bed. The buffet breakfast was adequate but the breakfast are was run down and not cleaned for some time. While it was OK to stay for 2 nights I would not come back again .

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Lovely cliffside view. Clean and spacious room. Balcony has chairs and table which is good. No wardrobe in the room but benches to put your baggage on. Has small fridge and safe. Bathroom has sliding door so not sound proof. Nice pool area on the first floor and small gym on third floor.

Very accessible to the town - really nice rooms had 2 queen beds and a lovely balcony Didn’t need the staff much but they were always happy and friendly and room cleaned amazingly well after it got quite messy - thank you *pray* Would recommend for staying in comfort and with good amenities close to centre of ao nang - lock it in!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Sugar Marina. Room was great except for a moldy smell that exists. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was great. Although everything was done to solve the mold smell issue (moved to the room next door) the smell was the same. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Das Hotel sieht nicht aus wie auf den Fotos. Es sieht aus als wäre es im Umbau. Wir wurden nicht zum früheren Check in reingelassen, kein Problem aber dann wartet man möchte sich in das Bett legen und dann ist altes periodenblut was nicht richtig rauswaschbar ist, auf der Bettwäsche. Sie wurde direkt gewechselt aber trotzdem sehr ekelhaft !

Ein Zentrales Hotel, mit tollen Zimmern. Leider gab es keinen Schrank im Zimmer, da ich aber allein gereist bin konnte ich das zweite Bett nutzen. Leider wurden die öffentlichen Bereich wie Treppenhaus, öffentliche WC`s am Pool und in der Lobby nicht täglich geputzt. Es ist leider nicht Möglich das zusätzliche Frühstück auf das Zimmer schreiben zu lassen, man muss immer direkt in Bar bezahlen.

Booked 2 rooms. The 3rd floor where I stayed was clean. The other room I booked was located on the 2nd floor with pool access. It was a huge disappointment as the showers were dirty, and the smell of sewage was awful only when walking into the bathroom area. There was a slight smell of mildew and I contacted the front desk about it to see if we can change rooms but everything was full and they did not try to move us into another room the next day. It was difficult using the bathroom as it smelled so bad, but we endured and will not be staying there again.

Big room with a very comfortable bed! Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was simple but adequate. Lots of places to eat/drink within walking distance. On the whole we enjoyed our stay, although I would suggeat that the hotel tries to find an alternative to providing water in plastic bottles every day.

The room was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is located on top of a hill but very close to all attractions in Al Nang. A lot of restaurants nearby. The pool was very lovely. The hallway smelled a bit musty but it was so humid in Ao Nang so likely the cause. The room was clean and nice.

Interesting property. There seems to be a place where there was a lobby but it was empty. Our bathroom door was a sliding door with large gaps so we could see into the bathroom from outside the bathroom, which was odd. But it was very clean, comfortable, and the pool was lovely

Nice rooms with big beds and good decor. I’d recommend being in the building away from the main high street as the vans announcing mma fights can be quite loud and early! But overall, the hotel was lovely and was a great location.

Great location, about a 13 minute walk to the beach, close to bars and restaurants but far enough away so it wasn’t noisy all day and night. Clean rooms, lots of storage space so your things aren’t laying around everywhere. Pillows were not the best, but they never are at hotels. We had a room with a pool walkout which was great for an afternoon or late night swim. Also, the view from our patio was pretty beautiful with the cliff in the background. Staff was friendly and always willing to help. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 3 nights. Based on my booking, I espectro a room with a patio adjacent to a pool. However, the room opened to a small patio with steep stairs and a ladder goin into the pool. The patio was not very useable and the pool access and view were not good. We talked to the manager and were able to move to a deluxe room for the second and third nights. The deluxe room was larger, had a large useable patio and was directly adjacent to the pool. This room was much better. I would recommend this hotel to travelers but would highly recommend a deluxe room. The breakfast was very nice.

Property has two buildings. The one close to main road has no reception or security. Anyone can just walk into the building. It has all superior room that do not have adequate storage. The second building in the back has reception and somewhat secure. It has all deluxe rooms that have better storage.

First room we had was no closet asked for another room ,we could get one by paying €130 extra ,we did.that room was ok but overal not very clean .twice they didn’t come to clean and we had to ask.WiFi wasn’t working in the room and television had 2 Thai nets and 1 not working euronews

O quarto era bonito e confortável. O café da manhã era ótimo, com muitas opções. Um pouco distante da praia, mas ok. O que menos gostamos foi o atendimento, não fizeram nada a mais do que a obrigação deles, o que pedimos como gentileza não foi atendido. Por exemplo, tínhamos um passeio bem cedo, e queríamos iniciar o café da manhã com 10 minutos de antecedência, foi negado. Outro exemplo, no check-out pedimos um guarda-chuva emprestado, pois estava chovendo muito, e gostaríamos de usá-lo por apenas 2 horas, também foi negado, apesar de haver vários dispoíveis. Nossas malas foram guardadas no hotel, é claro que retornaríamos para devolver o guarda-chuva. O banheiro no hall que fica disponível para os hóspedes, e precisamos usar antes de ir ao aeroporto, é imundo. Ou seja, não espere nenhuma gentileza. Se não está previsto, você não receberá.

Stay was good and comfortable. Room was clean and comfortable. It was inconvenient having to walk up to a lobby not in the building. Staff was helpful with contacting excursions regarding pick up. Maid service was honest as i left my wallet out by mistake and it was still there. It was a good central location. 15 min walk to beach. I would stay again.

Staff was not friendly, an hour, and 15 minute late check in, no lotion in the rooms, upon check out, had to wait for maid to go to the room, and then try to say that I broke the blow dryer, which was not true. Liked that a beach mat and towels in a handy beach bag were in each room. Very nice pool as well. breakfast in the hotel for ฿350 was just OK, better to eat at some of the breakfast cafés down the street.

When I arrived at the hotel I've created by a lovely member of the staff who informed me that normally I would have to check in at 15:00 but because I think he saw I was tired. She let me check in early this was excellent customer service

Once again another fantastic stay for 2 weeks! Great staff they were friendly and always asking if everything was great as well as good morning and goodnight! The room was excellent and clean lots of space and great shower! Quit at night and pool was excellent! Really feel like a V.I.P. here thank you again and Hope to stay with you next year! I will always stay with Sugar Marina!

The property is on the main strip but it’s at the inactive end of the strip which is good if you want quiet nights. Also it’s labeled as marina but there's no marina on property so that was a little misleading. There's an abundance of restaurants nearby so with the property only housing one restaurant, you still have choices around. Overall this was an ok stay but for myself I'd choose another location in the heart of the strip for a livlier vibe and closer proximity to everything nearby.

Everything i needed was with in 5 minute walk. 7-11, food, bars, lurndry ect. About 750 metres walk to the beach. Will be staying at saugar marina hotel again next time I'm back in Ao Nang

This place is a bit further up from the beach, but that's a good thing. It was amazingly quiet which was most welcome as the previous three nights we had a room in a hotel above a bar. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, had all the amenities I needed. The pool was refreshing and the breakfast buffet was one of the best on this trip. Would return here again if I happen to pass this way again.

On approach, 1st impressions weren’t great, but inside the hotel it’s lovely and modern, we had a great stay with a comfortable bed in a lovely room, breakfast had everything you could have wanted.

I can highly recommend this hotel. Staff were kind and helpful. Pools were big enough to actually do some lap's. Breakfast was good and i did not hear neighbours at any time, so nice and come own rooms with clean facilities. Only negative was that the building next door is under a renovation, but that's not hotels fault.
