We stayed in cabin 4 and it was just what we expected. It was a rustic cabin with lots of the same comforts as a hotel room. We were warm, had a hot shower and coffee bar. The two beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. As a first time Alaska visitor I was impressed with the amenities that I found in the cabins that we rented. We expected to find bare minimums but this cabin was better equipped. It was a nice surprise for our last night of the trip.

FIVE ADULTS (FAMILY) STAYED IN THE LOFT... QUEEN BED DOWNSTAIRS... THREE TWIN BEDS UPSTAIRS... NICE CLEAN BATHROÒM NICE SITTING AREA WITH TV...PLAYED CARDS HAD DINNER AT THE FAMOUS SALMON BAKE ON PROPERTY. IT WAS VERY GOOD! EXIT GLACIER NATIONAL PARK JUST A FEW MILES ON SAME ROAD. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

Stayed here with my daughter. We had a nice big comfortable room. Reception staff were nice, friendly and very helpful. Nice Alaska themed decor - which seemed all genuine. It is a short drive to the Exit Glacier but also very convenient for Seward and much better value than hotels there. The Baked Salmon restaurant next door is recommended. Plenty of parking at the hotel. This is an individual unique hotel - be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. It is not a generic hilton/holiday inn.

Nice place; old charm and rustic. Clean large room. No elevator so carry luggage up to second floor. Had breakfast option if ordered the night before and pay separately. Next to a great restaurant called Salmon Bake. Very close to Exit Glacier visitor Center of Kenai Fjords NP and short drive to main area of Seward.

Nice, small, quiant hotel. Owner is not at the front desk but very available by cell phone. Housekeeping is flexible with room cleaning. Located on road that goes to Exit Glacier National Park. Next door is The Salmon Bake which is also very good and great staff and food. Restaueant closes Sept. 1st for the season.

Old and smelled of mould - this was quite concerning. Lucky it was warm enough to leave the windows open all night. Soggy bed. Given a key for an old cabin and then another guest opened the door with another key! The manager didn’t apologise for that. Also was not helpful as we had arrived without a car at 10am and there was no leeway in getting in prior to 3pm checkin. Nothing to do but walk a main road in the area unless prior arrangements had been made.

This is what you would consider a classic Alaskan lodge. No frills, just necessities. We only stayed one night as we were heading to a train ride to catch a cruise the next day. The cabin we stayed in was small, but clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We had an awesome two night stay here. The bed was by far the best one I slept in on the whole trip. I didn't even want to get out of it in the mornings. It's right off the road to Kenai Fjords National Park, and it's just a few minutes away from downtown Seward. Check in was easy and parking is great. I would absolutely stay here again.

The lodge was a nice oldtime building. Felt like you were going back to the 1920s. Rooms were nice. No view from the property and the parking lot area and surrounding buildings were not in good shape.

Out of an eighteen day trip, the Loft room will probably be my family's favorite accommodation. It is perfect for a family of up to 5. Three beds are upstairs in a fun loft area for the kids with a private mom and dad bedroom downstairs.I was delighted to discover that there was a washer and dryer in the room with laundry detergent provided, so we were able to wash clothes. Check in was very personal and fast.I was also happily surprised to learn that there was an onsite restaurant for dinner as well as a breakfast offering available.Although we chose to eat elsewhere, it was nice to have that nearby food comfort. Aside from that, the lodge is located in a wooded residential area. When I tried to go for a nice walk in the afternoon, I was chased out by rude neighbors with dogs who informed me that I was trespassing on private property.That's not cool. Although there are many no trespassing and keep out signs and all over the road, the sign on the road does clearly say residents and guests are allowed.

We stayed in 2 different rooms on our stay(added a night a couple days before). Both rooms were great. The front desk person Todd was very helpful and friendly. I needed to check in super late due to when my flight arrived in Anchorage and they were very accomodating. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seward!!

Breakfasts were perfect. The hotel owners were delightful and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just far enough out of town for a quiet and peaceful sit on their front porch. I would recommend this 100%!

We love this little boutique hotel. Rooms are quaint but clean . Staff is friendly. We used the free shuttle from the Windsong as there is no transportation out here and it is 5km from town.

This hotel is a bit outside of town but was very nice.. no complaints would probably stay in the main area of Seward just since there’s a lot of cool bars down there and we wouldn’t need to drive to and from town

My family and I really enjoyed this hotel. I would definitely stay here again instead of in Seward. The restaurant on-site is also pretty good though it's only open for dinner.
