Nothing unique other than close to Central Park. There are 2 elevators and my room being on 14 th floor takes 10 minutes. Also housekeeping with their cleaning carts, brooms and dirty linen use the same elevators with guests forcing more delays and inconvenience to guests.

Nice gym, but needs to be better stocked with towels. Excellent location to Columbus Circle train station. Right next to Central Park and lots of dining options. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and new.

The staff were kind, and attentive, and the room was clean. But there were some real issues. First, the elevator was broken. They had staff run it, you had to request a pick up 7:30a-8:30p, prime time. But they weren't trained well and didn't use critical thinking, so they were running pick ups so inefficiently, that we waited forever. The pillows were super lumpy, and the room was so small (NYC, I get it), but it was set up poorly and I smacked my head on an ill-placed cabinet next to my bed. Things they couldn't do much about are t in the area. It's not very efficient and not very neighborhood-like.

Excellent location when you drive into the city with a parking garage right next door. Easy walk to Lincoln Center and lots of good restaurants. Very friendly staff.

Overpriced hotel. For a four day stay, housekeeping was not completed for two days. This was very inconvient. The elevator situation is a complete nightmare, slow, small and tiny. The wait time may be 30 minutes or more. The hotel is old and amenities are antiquated, yet the price is very high. Most of the staff is unaccommodating and unfriendly. I would not recommend this hotel for a POC. There were several unfriendly stares from foreign tourists throughout the whole visit. There is a dangerous lack of diversity in hotel guest and my daughter stated several times that she felt scared. Unwelcoming and unfriendly atmosphere cultivated by most, not all, of the staff.

We were there for SIX days, but the room was. only serviced ONCE. We loved the location, but the property only has two elevators for 18 floors. They are small elevators and when people are checking in or out, the wait is unacceptable. Also, the rooms are tiny for people staying more than a night or two, with no drawers, etc.

We stayed one night. The check in process went smoothly. Unfortunately, when we went into our room, there was a strong odor that caused my husband to have a reaction, that had him coughing and not being able to breath. I called the front desk and they were able to change our room which was better. I'm not sure what the odor was, but it was very unpleasant and almost ruined our trip.

Great location. Very clean and new feeling. Rooms (by New York standards) not too small! Great views. Just a few minutes to walk to Columbus Circle and Central Park. Generous and well cared for breakfasts. Our ONLY complaint (as we had read about this beforehand) is that there are only two elevators, and they run VERY slowly; so you can easily wait awhile for it to come to your floor, and sometimes a very slow journey up and down as it ponderously wonders about how slowly it can open and close its doors. There is a sign saying that it is slow for safety reasons, but it truly is unusually slow. Apart from this however, no complaints at all and would gladly stay here again.

I booked two rooms at an outrageous price to take my elderly mother to see her great grandson. Primarily because it’s in close proximity to his apartment. The elevator was still broken down (it was when we stayed there two months ago) and the rooms are so small you have no room to unpack and have to put suitcases on the dresser/desk which makes it difficult to get to the bathroom. At 800.00 per night, expected better.

The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy and had to be turned off to be able to sleep uninterrupted. Also, poorly cooled the room. Rest of the place was good. Breakfast was good. I will not stay on this hotel again because of the noisy a/c.

Location is great, 12 min from Lincoln Ctr, 10min from Columbus Circle. However elevators are unacceptable, very slow and do not stop on some floors, i used a staircase. Bathroom design poor, no space for cosmetics, no space to put towels on, even though some empty corners were available to install shelves. No isolated business ctr. Overall mediocre experience.

First the pros: Great front desk staff and nice shower in the bathroom. Fantastic location. Now the cons: Smallest hotel room I've ever been in, smaller than any cruise cabin that I had. No maid service. The bathroom has no towel bars to hang your wet towel, a problem when there is no maid service. Only two terribly slow elevators that were a problem to get on in the morning, I have no idea what they did during covid as they were often crammed with people.

Easy walk to Lincoln Center . Clean nicely appointed rooms. You can hear your neighbors a bit too easily . Staff attentive . Bar and snack area very small and not staffed while we were when it was open and closes at 10 pm. One cup of coffee in room for two people. That said would stay again for value and location.

When we arrived, we were told that we had been moved to a different hotel. I chose this hotel and location because it was close to the cruise port. The new hotel is not! It was finally agreed that they would pay for a car to take us to the new hotel and we were given two bottles of water. I asked for some kind of a refund and was told that the price at the new hotel is the same as what they had already charged on my credit card. The new hotel was very accommodating but the entire experience was very upsetting. I had spoken with someone at the hotel the day before arrival and all was good. I think they overbooked and because I made my reservation thru Expedia and not directly with Fairfield Inn and Suites, we were shipped out!

We stayed here because my daughter was performing at Lincoln Center. This was the most convenient and walkable hotel. This was the most uninviting and unwelcoming hotel. The guests are extremely unfriendly and the majority are European. The elevators are extremely slow and tiny. I do not recommend this hotel. Housekeeping was extremely rude!! We had to ask 8 times for towels. I explained to the housekeeper that we had 4 adults staying in the rooms, so that we needed four complete sets. She became extremely argumentative and refused to provided us with the accurate number of towels!! I have never been treated so rudely by hotel staff. This hotel was outrageously expensive for the bare to minimum service. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. I love that they let us check in in the morning instead of waiting until later in the afternoon. They also allow for us to keep our bags in the hotel after we checked out so that we wouldn’t have to lug them around the city until it was time for us to go home

The first night I had a freezing shower, after being out in a 12 degree winter weather. When I called the front desk they sent someone who explained that because of the winter we should have left the waterbrunning for 20 minutes before having a shower to let it warm up since the hot water came from floor 18 and we were in floor 4. I would have loved to know this beforehand. The staff accidentally gave the key to our room to someone else, and they got in our room while we were in bed. After that the front desk called to apologize. The day after, the front desk called us to ask if we had 2 rooms, which we didn’t, and asked if our things were in this other room. They seemed very disorganized and I got concerned that they would charge me for an extra room we didn't have. The TV was too old and crooked. Good thing about this hotel was location, breakfast, and quiet neighborhood. 3 out of 5

Lovely clean room, it was overlooking the main road so not able to open the curtains to enjoy the light, but the room did what we needed. Breakfast was very good and had a wide range of options and was fully stocked. It was a very busy breakfast area but as expected. The hotel was located close to the park and a good spot for people who like to walk as it was a few blocks away from a subway. I would recommend.

This is a great stay for a good price in Manhattan. It’s a little walk away from any subway, but it’s a nice area so perfectly safe. The hotel needs more elevators - one broke when we were there, leaving only one. It took 15 minutes to get down to breakfast so will be difficult for those with accessibility needs.

On weekend there is free street parking in front of hotel. Very convenient to Lincoln Center, upper west side, Columbus circle and Times Square. Hotel has a boutique feel and very good breakfast included. I will stay here again.

Loved the location and the hotel amenities are truly excellent. There’s a comfortable lobby with lots of seating options, a bar with a great happy hour and friendly service, a nice fitness center, and the BEST free hotel breakfast I have EVER had. The room was lovely, just right. We really enjoyed this!

Courteous service from all staff I encountered. The first night we arrived we ordered from the bar and the finger food was quite tasty and delightful. The bartender/waitress was polite and friendly. We had very food service.
