Its great to have a bar open 24/7 for after all the sight seeing come in and relax in a very quiet atmosphere.

Hotel was placed near the main district with all the shops and local restaurants. The staff there was super helpful, we stayed there for 4 nights and overall its been a great experience. Mind you this isnt our first Ruby Experience, we stayed at Ruby Mimi in Zurich and we loved the decor. The only nitpick that did lower 1 star for the review is that they only had 1 lift working, the other one was in maintence or something. This means you would end up staring at the wall for few mins before the lift came up to the 2nd floor. There was construction work due to them fitting a rooftop bar but there was no mention of this while booking. However these two shortcomings did not deter from the whole experience and I would deffintely use Ruby hotels in countries where available.

I completed the check in online beforehand so everything was really easy and our room was ready as soon as we arrived at 11.30am. We were told we had been upgraded to a bigger room, which was great as smaller would have been tight. The room was lovely and a lot of thought had gone into to space saving I’m just not sure how effective this was. The sink is in the main room as the toilet and shower are interlinked glass units, so there is no actual “bathroom” which is fine but it means the area around the sink becomes messy with things that are normally out of sight. Also I’d have concerns over the long term use of these surfaces as these aren’t tiled, wood panelling will not wear as well, but it was all lovely while I was there. Our room was next to the cleaners room so every morning were woken at 7am by the lovely ladies getting together and chatting. Apart from our last morning when we were woken at 5am by work on the roof. We were told the water was going to be off for an hour from 5am to 6am, which was a problem but the noise was, it was our last morning there and we’re looking forward to a relaxed lie in and staying in the room Until check out, this didn’t happen, which was disappointing. Also it would have been nice to be told when booking that the roof top was still being constructed 1) so I knew we couldn’t use it and 2) because of the ongoing work we experienced. Other than all good, good breakfast and a great location.

This was a unique hotel and even had a roof top seating area.

Great room and location is close to everything. If you plan on sleeping in napping during the day they are doing construction on the roof so very noisy. Bar staff were very friendly.

Great Location, for everything. very funky decor and very clean too. We were upgraded to a Loft room, spacious. The bar had a jazz night one night, very good. Recommended.

Fantastic central location near public transport. Room is ok and staff are friendly. The entrance is mediocre and when the front door is locked it can be difficult to find the rear entrance if you don’t look up!

Clean room, simply facility, location very convenient

The sound insulation was awful. We could hear toilets being flushed, voices from the room next to ours. The doors from other rooms bang loud. Really bad experience. Cleaning was mediocre. Location of the hotel is really good.

Location was really good, close to the city centre and U-bahn to get around Vienna. However it was noisy during the nights. Service was good, breakfast was okand it was nice to get speciality coffees at breakfast. Another downside was the shower in the room, where humidity was an issue and there was a funky smell from the sewer.

Very disappointing stay. You pay almost 400 euros per night but receive a two-star experience at best. It already starts poorly at check-in, where guests are expected to handle everything themselves. When we tried to get information, the reception staff was far from friendly. No one cleaned our room during the three nights we stayed at the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre and overpriced, with nothing warm apart from the standard hot drinks. The so-called “lean luxury” concept feels like a flimsy excuse to offer a budget hotel dressed up as something high-end. We will not be considering Ruby Hotels again.

Small room but very close to inner city

The location of this hotel is excellent. We walked to all the major sites. We didn't get the breakfast at the hotel but there are a couple of bakeries around the corner with coffee, croissants and pasteries. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The one thing to keep in mind is that it is a botique hotel so the rooms are tiny and the shower has glass walls. I was sharing the room with my sister. I would have been uncomfortable sharing with a friend.

Property location was great, close to the old city and train station. Staff was nice. Hotel is a little eccentric. Rooms were good size. Bathrooms were a bit odd, not much privacy. Would stay again.

Great location, for both Schwedenplatz metro and only 10 minute walk to St Stephens Cathedral. Room was nice, but the seating was quite uncomfortable, even just a nice seat pad would help. Also the shower was one that faced into the room, okay on my own, but I really dislike this trend. Private bathrooms are great! All those things aside, the staff were great, really helpful. Breakfast was good selection, and ate well. Also the bar is open 24/7 and was nice in the evening to sit with fellow travellers for a few drinks which were reasonably priced. Really liked the idea of swapping room cleaning for a free drink, a great idea.

Nice modern rooms. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere in this quiet hotel in the middle of Vienna. Cool antique interior and a good breakfast adds to the experience. Definitely recommended.

I recently stayed at Rubi Lissi and found it to be a beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. The decor and ambiance are truly lovely, making it a great place to unwind. However, I encountered a significant issue during my stay. Our room, located on the same level as the reception, was quite noisy due to the sounds from the bar and lobby. Unfortunately, this disturbance continued late into the night, making it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep on both nights of our stay. It's such a shame because the hotel itself is wonderful, but the noise issue really detracted from our experience. I hope they can address this in the future, as it would make a big difference for guests looking for a peaceful retreat.

Stay here when I travel to Vienna. It's a good hotel. Couple of issues. No real desk to be able to work at and AC is locked to +/-3degC from ambient.

Tiny, odd-shaped room but we made the best of it. Probably would not rebook at that hotel.

Was so hot in the room, central aircon has fan speed of 3 and the changes to auto after 10minutes leaving the room very very hot!

The hotel is nice, the staff is excellent. Our room had a closet with 6 hangars and 2 shelves. No other storage which was a problem. Other than that, great place.

Good stuff: The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk to many attractions, restaurants and more. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Not so great stuff: The automated check-in was glitchy and we received a couple error messages before we had to ask stuff to help. The menu at the restaurant could use an upgrade. Suggest having coffee/tea setup in the rooms rather than unnecessary items like amps and speakers. Much more useful!

unfriendly staff. No concierge/receptionist available. There is a bartender who is multitasking cutting fruits for the breakfast buffet while answering the guest questions. Hallways are dark and dirty. Vacuums and cleaning carts are left in hallways for hours. Never felt safe in this hotel. There is no entrance or lobby. You pass a hallway with homeless and drunk people laying on the floor to get to the bar for self check in or check out!

Excellent Hotel at a fair price in a good location. The staff was particularly helpful and nice. I was really impressed by them.

This hotel is a gem! My wife and I were thrilled with all aspects of our stay. The service orientation of the staff is fantastic! We received a wonderful greeting upon arrival by Amadea and Leon. Hozan was excellent throughout our stay, Alex was wonderful in the restaurant. Our room was very comfortable and very clean! The heart of Vienna, lined with sidewalk cafes, cathedrals and shops, was literally within a 5-minute walk. Highly recommended!

The hotel itself is alright and the location is very convenient. What distinguishes better hotels from this hotel is the level of service. The staff was pretty unhelpful overall and the overall service was way below average. For example, the hotel staff constantly left the self check-in laptop open where I could easily see the names of the other guests who had booked this hotel. So if you put any value on the level of service or your privacy, I strongly recommend to book another hotel.

slow, unhelpful check in staff. They were literally staring at screens while several people were waiting. When I asked if I could take a bottle of WATER instead of a complimentary cocktail, their answer was NO.

Tolles Hotel in einer super zentralen Lage. Extrem freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und stylisch. Das Frühstück total lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

conveniently located at the center of the city. Close to restaurants, shops only walking distance to everything you need. Train station is only down few steps from the hotel. Will definitely book next time we visit.

Läget är fantastiskt bra. Gångavstånd till det mesta och med läget nära till Schwedenplatz som har många kollektivtrafik valmöjligheter. 10 minuters promenad från stationen där flygtåget kommer in.

Great location- bus from/to airport is just 5mins walk. City centre with all the shops is 5mins walk too. Lots of dining options on doorstep. Nice, trendy hotel.

Perfect hotel!! Inside the Inner Circle, but you had the metro station right outside the hotel. Very convenient and the room was very comfy.

Awesome boutique hotel hidden away from the mainstream tourist traffic, but in a perfect location. As a solo traveler it was safe and very convenient. The subway is steps from the door and restaurants and attractions are very walkable. Super cute decor and very clean. The only criticism I would say is there is no food available in the afternoon or evening besides pizza. The breakfast buffet is fine but you’d be better off walking to a close by coffee shop for the price. There is no fridge in the room, so even though grocery is close by you’re limited. On the other hand the staff is very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, and for help navigating the various sights to see in Vienna. Aside from the food I would not hesitate to recommend!

Great location and convenient to transportation, shopping and dining. Very hip vibe and full of techies. Fantastic jazz band on Monday nights. Guest room didn’t have much storage space for suitcases, no drawers for clothes. Very minimalist in style. Breakfast was very overpriced. Toilet/shower area very awkward and bizarre layout. Great staff and cool decor..
