The rooms were very clean, and the decor was beautiful and ornate. I truly felt like I was in a palace. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were not small, and there were sitting areas all around the hotel. We were able to sit on the rooftop with stunning views of the Duomo and city. The most difficult aspect of the stay was the restricted desk hours from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We had a difficult time paying the city tax because we left early in the morning before we could contact anyone at the desk.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, es war alles sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer tip top mit großem Badezimmer, Klimaanlage und Vorhängen mit denen man das Zimmer komplett abdunkeln konnte. Der Hammer ist aber die Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick die rund um die Uhr offen zugänglich ist.

Our favorite thing about Palazzo Graziani was the rooftop patio, with great views of the Duomo and all around. We were up there almost every evening to watch the sunset. Second best thing was the location, since we were headed one day to the Uffizi and the next to the Accademia. This is a fine hotel, with a good breakfast, attentive and helpful front desk, and spacious rooms.

⭐ 1-Star Review: Palazzo Geaziani Hotel On arrival, I was impressed by the location of the Palazzo Geaziani Hotel, which is conveniently situated near shopping and restaurants. The hotel also felt secure while inside, which initially made me feel at ease. However, my stay quickly turned into a nightmare. Two of the rooms we booked were infested with bed bugs. We woke up covered in bites and I took pictures to document the situation, which I immediately shared with hotel management. I requested a room change or at least to have the mattresses replaced and the rooms cleaned. Unfortunately, housekeeping had already left for the day and the hotel was fully booked, so they could not accommodate my request. Management offered me a refund for one night, which felt like a small gesture given the circumstances. I informed them that we would return from our tour between 9:00 and 9:30 pm to resolve the situation, but when we returned, no one was at the front desk. We tried calling other hotels, but unfortunately, everything was fully booked. We were forced to pull the mattress into the hallway to inspect it for more bed bugs and found two more. It was an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience, especially as a travel agent who was not only personally affected but also had a client with me who experienced the same issue. I asked management to compensate us for the inconvenience, but nothing further was offered beyond the refund for one night. I will not be returning.

I don’t know where to begin. At first we really liked this property, but that quickly changed once we slept on the hard rock bed. Saying it was uncomfortable is an understatement. It was literally like sleeping on the floor and don’t get me started on the pillows. We would wake up super tired everyday. Also the lady that cleans the room, just left my stuff on the mopped floor and not nicely. And she didn’t even leave us toilet paper. We had to keep going up to the front desk to ask for it. Our next room neighbor came banging on the door saying we were being too loud; the volume was at 10 on Netflix… just shows how thin the walls are. The fridge wasn’t cool. The only good thing about this place is the location and the rooftop. We hated staying here soooo much that we left to another hotel two days before our trip ended and the guy was rude about it and said no refund. Save your money.

Loved my 5 night stay at Palazzo Graziani. A gorgeous old building (300+ years) with thoughtfully updated rooms. I stayed in a single room and although smallish it had all the amenities needed, including a kettle, tea and a small fridge and smart use of space. Spotlessly clean. Check was easy, all the staff were friendly and gracious. Location was perfect, a short walk from the Duomo and everything you might want to see in Firenze. It’s in a neighborhood right by a small piazza with great places to eat or have apertivo and slightly off the tourist track (bonus!). Breakfast was very good and the view of THE dome from the roof terrace was the winner. Highly recommend.

My daughter needed a place to stay for an evening. I was able to book this great place from the United States, on line. She said that the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and quaint, plus she was fortunate enough to be able to check in early (normally I don’t think so, but I’m not sure). She said that she would stay there again.

Property was amazing and from the 15th century. Rooms was very large and clean. Host was on time and very helpful when needed. A little loud outside from 11-12pm but bearable. Would stay there again for sure. Also has an elevator which was very convenient .

The hotel was excellent. I did have one concern with the single room and the size of the bed. The room could have easily accommodated a full or even a double but instead there was a single twin bed. That seems like a waste of space for the size of the room. Outside of that the place was excellent.

Great location. Great size room. Great staff. And the views from the rooftop patio are phenomenal. 360 degree views of the city and can almost feel like you can reach out and touch the Duomo. Check-in hours are very limited. And a block from all of the college bars, so it gets quite noisy late evening and into the early overnight hours.

Property is very well located, near shops, restaurants and the Duomo. Overall, room was very clean but the air conditioning did not work... it is a small unit on the wall and it did not cool the room at all. There is no one at the front desk until 3 pm, if you arrive early there is nowhere to store your luggage. You need to wait outside the building with your bags until someone shows up. Not a great way to start a vacation!

Palazzo Graziani is a wonderful hotel. The staff are as helpful and friendly as any I have ever experienced. They let us check in early to clean up on a whirlwind 2-day trip to Florence so we were able to use every minute there to see the city. They kept our bags until we left the next evening. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the Duomo from my room was better than any postcard!!! You should stay here!!! We LOVE THEM!

The safety of the property was excellent. The location was excellent. The quality of the rooms and bathrooms were fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless and well maintained. Having a kettle for tea was a plus. The rooftop terrace… wow, unparalleled and unobstructed views of the Duomo. But that’s not the best part… the staff is exceptional. The gentleman at the front desk when we first arrived in the morning was very helpful. We arrived well before our checkin time. We were a party of 8 so had four rooms. Only one room was ready. He permitted us to get in that room early. Leave luggage. Use restroom and freshen up. Then, upon checkout, we were struggling to book a taxi ahead of time (do your research on this - it’s a bit challenging). We needed to leave at 9:00-9:10 AM to get us to the train station. With luggage it’s a good long walk so walking was not an option. We tried to reserve a taxi ahead of time via email & WhatsApp. We were told to call 10 mins before needing the taxi on the day off by the taxi company. On the morning of they didn’t respond to text on WhatsApp and the number the taxi service gave never picked up when we called. The front desk gentleman (I wish I could remember his name) started his shift at 9. We were desperate when he walked in. He immediately dropped everything and helped us… had two taxis there within 10 minutes! He was a lifesaver!! If you’re looking for lodging in Florence… this is the place. Book it!

I booked a double room 7 months ago, at check this week I was given a room with a kitchen with a sign saying we touch anything in the kitchen, 30euros. Front desk coverage only 6 hours daily. After being locked out of room for 24 hours, no one answered their posted emergency phone after 40 tries and no voicemail option. We left our key in our room and because there was no desk clerk and no one answering the emergency line, we were left with no option but sit in their tiny, lobby over night where there is no furniture .Posted sign saying you arrive after 8 pm, you have to pay an extra 30 euros to check in. Manager refused to refund one nights fee even though his poorly and minimally managed business failed to have any personnel available to help us and we had no sleep for 24 hours. Customer service is zero here.

I accidentally left my black jacket in my room after I checked out. I contacted the hotel to inquire if there was a jacket left in my room and they replied back right away to state that they had the jacket. I could pick it up at the hotel or they could make arrangements to have it shipped. I picked up the jacket a week later once I returned to the area. Really appreciated the hospitality.

The shower drain was blocked. Since we self checked in late, we had to shower in ankle high water. They tried to fix it a couple of times during our stay. Better but not fully fixed. Breakfast starts at 8am. This information is not listed on Expedia. All our tours were early to avoid crowds, so we are missing breakfast we paid for on most days. The safe in our room is old and not working during our 4 day stay. The common area has no AC, hot with mosquitoes. No front desk from 8pm to 9am, so you are on your own during this time. The staff forgot to leave towels for us one day, so we had to air dry after showers…

This was the most beautiful hotel in our entire trip. Located in a wonderful historic building so close to the Duomo. Everything about this place was amazing especially for the price! Especially the decor, breakfast and the unbelievable rooftop terraces. We will definitely return to this hotel again and highly recommend it to our friends.

Hotel location was perfect. Room was nice and breakfast was ok. Our biggest issue was the air conditioning. We stayed 3 nights, the first 2 it worked it the last night it stopped working. Unfree had to check out early in the morning so couldn’t let them know. Breakfast only starts at 8:00, so if you have an early tour like we did you’re out of luck.
