Great location, entrance to the building looks run down, we arrived at after midnight and it looked very scary and the doors were locked, I had to wait till another customer unlocked the door. The front desk was not there and we had to wait for another 15minutes before she woke up. Morning people were pleasant and very accommodating.

This property was in the heart of everything. Walking distance, dining options and things to do. Near the Riverwalk and the Bean. I was very pleased with the area. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Security in the lobby around the clock.

The staff, building, location, and events was great! The game room needs attention!! Pool table needs to be thrown away. There need to be more games and tvs if you’re going to call it a game room.

it says game room, but it had a ripped-up pool table, foosball game that was cheap and that was it. dirty tables, empty dirty glasses on tables. game room don't waste your time. Bar restaurant, one guy working waited to be served but never showed up, so we went across the street to eat and drink. Room was nice, front desk personnel were nice. I thought since you're staying at the hotel they would give you a parking discount, but no. location is great for shows.

The room was spacious and clean. This is the only hotel I stayed in where the room was bigger than it appeared in pictures. It was conveniently located, and we walked everywhere. The gym is much nicer than was depicted. In addition to the cardio machines, there were free weights, stability balls, kettleballs, bands, and TRX.

Great location close to Millennium park and the river front. Front desk staffed with security guard 24/7. Rooms are clean but could use more attention to detail such as crumbs left on chair cushion. Beds are comfortable. I like how sheets and bed coverings are all white so you can tell if there is any stains, dirt, etc. Rooms are not serviced by housekeeping unless you ask. They have a text feature to communicate with housekeeping. Parking ramp is around the corner and has security feature to access. Hotel will text you QR code to get into ramp and to scan if you go in and out. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Initially we said we didn't want house keeping to come to our room, but then halfway through the week we asked the front desk if they could come change sheets and bring a few towels. They said they were going to come that day, but they never did and didn't come the couple days after either. Not a huge deal, but wish we could have gotten clean sheets. The hotel overall was nice and clean. The treadmills in the gym were a little old and needed fixed. The area was nice too and was located in a part of town where we had access to lots of things to do and easy access to public transportation.

$57 for self parking is a little high. Valet would be nice as well since the parking garage is down and around the corner. So getting to hotel and back to car with luggage , bags ,etc is a little cumbersome.

The hotel was just okay. We were in town to see a show and the location couldn’t have been better! It’s also very close to tourist attractions, shopping, and restaurants. However, the room needed a good scrubbing. Yikes. It’s a shame because it was a cute space. It just felt icky.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. I gave a 2 star for cleanliness because our room seemed like it was not cleaned by room service. The toilet had urine all over the seat and had not been flushed, I did mentioned it to front desk they took care of it right away. The floors also did not seem like they had been cleaned there were a few hair balls in the bathroom. Over all the cleanliness of the place was not the best we were at the bar the night before and went back in the afternoon and the same napkins and food crumbs were still on the ground. The bartender and doorman were friendly and nice.

The room was very clean and bed comfortable. The condition of the building has really deteriorated from my stay a few years ago. Stains on carpeting and damaged walls really deter from a high quality hotel. The price is comparable to other chains without the value. I had recommended a booking for family members and had to apologize for my selection.

We chose this hotel based on its location in the Loop with easy access to public transit and its walkability to various sites. The hotel itself was clean and safe. There is a doorman stationed at the front. You are right downtown so although the hotel itself is quiet, expect traffic noise. There was a Keurig machine in the room, a microwave and fridge. There is also free coffee in the lobby until 9:30am everyday. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, note the mattress is a little on the soft side. The bathroom is large and the mirror has bluetooth if you wish to play music. They offer room cleaning after the 3rd night but it is available upon request. When we asked for things to be replenished, it was promptly attended to and we could request via text message which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is in an qmazing location. Staff was friendly and always there. Room wasnt bery clean though. Bedding and linen were amazing but the bathroom wasnt clean and the floor was bery obviously not swept.

I recently stayed at the Cambria Hotel for 10 nights. The room qas good size with two queen size beds and bathtub with shower. The room had a very narrow window with a view of the street. When I first checked into my room there were food crumbs on the floor and a little sticky patch like a drop of soda. I took a picture and showed the reception and they took care of it the next day. The halls are looking a little worn. But the staff was super friendly, especially the security people. There is plently of shopping and public transportation is right around the corner. The River Walk is also close by. Parking is available at the hotel for $57 a night but I used Spot Hero to find parking for $21 just around the corner. Overall, it was a nice hotel and I would stay again.

The location was perfect, directly across the street from the Red Line platform and so many options of places to eat. Everything was walking distance. Room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. You can not hear anything from other rooms.

A three-star hotel. You get what you pay for. Nothing luxurious, overpriced breakfast, but the rooms are clean and staff was nice. You should request your room is not next to the NEDERLANDER sign because the lights on the sign flash all night long and can be very disturbing in some rooms.

The bed was very comfortable, enough space for clothes. But, the iron did not work properly and should be replaced, there was no sink stopper nor bar of soap in the soap dish. The Air conditioning would often blast cold air regardless of the temperature setting and it was on auto.

Okay. The hotel was nice and clean. The room itself was very interesting. No clock. Half shower door. No drawers in the nightstands. Street traffic echoed (I liked it but my partner didn’t). Excellent location. Friendly staff. I'd stay here again, but maybe if it were just an overnight. We did a weekend.

Room-quiet; shower doesn’t have a door or curtain, duvet was thin which is a problem for those who like to sleep warm. Theatre District location made it close to a lot of attractions. Parking garage right around the corner was very convenient.

Our room was comfortable and clean. James, the doorman was friendly and very helpful in helping us find a great restaurant for breakfast and other places near the hotel. He was a big reason we had such a great stay at your hotel. The Lacey who checked us in was super friendly and helpful also!

Second time staying at a Cambria property. This was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Only con I would say is that, our room was only cleaned once from the 5day 4night stay and it was the day before we left. Had to request new face rags and towels multiple times which was a big inconvenience. I would stay here again but would definitely make sure housekeeping does more.

I had a late check-in scheduled. But my flight was delayed. I didnt arrive until 2:45am to the hotel. When I called the front desk to notify them I was here, she just said the door was locked and offered no solutions for me to come in, and hung up on me. Thankfully someone who was a hotel guest had a room key and opened the door and let me in. My room was clean and I enjoyed my stay. At check-out, I was not greeted so much as a hello. I asked for a copy of my folio, which she did get for me, but no words exchanged. I asked to have my luggage to be held for a couple hours, and the other lady working the desk (African American woman) assisted me with that.

From the moment I checked in, the problems were endless. I had to remind the front desk staff three different times to make sure maintenance left the exit doors open for fire safety — a basic legal requirement they didn’t seem to care about. At check-in, I was told housekeeping was provided every third day and could be arranged daily upon request. Not once did that actually happen. The staff were consistently rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. No one cleaned anything during my stay. Hallways were littered with trash and dirty towels for days, creating both a disgusting and unsafe environment. The carpets in common areas looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. This property is neglected, filthy, and run by a staff that has no regard for guest safety or comfort. Do yourself a favor: stay anywhere else.

The hotel was overall clean. However, the check-in and check-out staff could be more friendly. I felt like I owed them a million dollars, even after paying for my stay. Their poker faces were off-putting, and it made me question if they understand the hospitality industry. If they don't enjoy interacting with people, this isn't the right job for them. In contrast, the door staff were very friendly. The ladies at check-in and check-out should receive additional training before entering their position.

We were told to park in the parking garage near by, we paid out of pocket while and brought our tickets back for a partial refund. We were told it was going to be 7 dollars a night since we were staying at the hotel well to our surprise it campus that their discount on the parking was 6 dollars for almost 150 worth of parking. Management would not reply back and we called for 2 weeks after the initial email and manager would call us back never did, Got a hold of him today finally after 2 weeks

Location was fantastic if you’re there to see a show, and walkable to some great restaurants and shopping. Seemed like a slow weekend, so lobby/bar was pretty quiet, but also could have used a little more ‘vibe’. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Not sure it was totally worth the high price, but also, it’s Chicago. Overall, my son and I had a great stay.

Great location. CTA blue line stations are less than a block away. Ideal if you're coming from the airport or parked your car somewhere like the Cumberland station. An AMC is across the street. The Chicago Theatre is right around the corner. I went to a concert at Soldier Field and walked back to the hotel. It was probably 40ish minutes. Would stay again.

Great location and awesome room amenities, really bad breakfast restaurant. On the 1st day restaurant closed before posted time, on day 2 we were offered a short menu with half of the items not available. By no means that restaurant and its service quality for full breakfast service. Good thing there are plenty of nice breakfast locations around.

Won’t stay again. Room is way more cramped than the photo shows. The shower is modern with open concept, so even though the water was hot, I was cold from the cool air coming in. Worst part was the restaurant. We waiting 15 minutes just for someone to come to our table to bring menus and over an hour after we ordered, we were still waiting. We unfortunately didn’t get breakfast because we couldn’t wait any longer.

Had a great stay here. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, there was a fridge and microwave and kurig. Bathroom was big. Shower had very, very low pressure and provided shampoo and conditioner was very basic (bring your own!). Check in /lobby is on 9th floor. There is a restaurant servering breakfast (self service of very weak coffee). Tons of restaurants within walking distance. Blue train (to/from ORD and rosemont convention center) is 2 min walk from hotel.

Perfect spot to stay in downtown Chicago. The restaurant ia surprisingly really good. Get the wings & the corned beef at breakfast. Garretts popcorn right next door. Get the Chicago Mix..you’ll thank me later

We came to Chicago for a Broadway show and this hotel was right next to the Nederlander Theater - super convenient! We enjoyed our one night stay and will recommend staying here to others as well. The king room was spacious and nice. We had the breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Intermission, and we glad to find classic, simple, breakfast options we charged to our room. Hotel staff was always respectful and polite - lobby is on the 9th floor FYI but there was a security guard in the ground level so we felt safe.

Received voucher for $25 per person for breakfast. Menu prices had increased from online prices. Not many choices but accomodating. My husband had the farmer breakfast which was more than he could eat which was unusual. I had an egg and cheese croissant with fruit which was quite good. The bill was $58 which I thought was a little much but that is Chicago I suppose. The room was clean and accomodating. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked that it was right next door to the theatre. Would be happy to stay there again .
