Staff was fantastic. Location is fantastic. Hotel is very cool and the value was pretty good. That said.. I was a bit disappointed. - The rooftop bar, which was supposed to be finished before my stay... Was closed - Three bikes for guests in the lobby. One was broken and one had a flat tire. - Shower faucet was kind of broken. - Internet was very slow. - Lastly, it was very noisy. We were in a 7th floor balcony room and you can hear everything happening down at the street. Honestly I'd probably stay there again despite these issues. Would be a 5-star review if like three of these issues didn't happen. Including the internet being basically unusable -- how hard is that to fix? These days, it's not acceptable for a decent hotel like this to have bad internet.

It was clean & nice Lobby. Nothing really special for the price. A bit bigger than the last hotel I was in NY. What I didn't like was there was no coffee or kettle in room. How hard is it to put that in a room? Plus, not very secure, as you could just walk up to your room & didn't need room key to access the elevator. I the morning there was a lady wandering the halls & tried to walk into my room as I was exiting. I feel not needing your key to use the elevator ensures random people off the street can't come up to the room hallways.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel in a nice room and with excellent treatment and responsiveness by hotel staff. A couple of things that the hotel could do to improve the experience for guests would be (1) to reinstate the advertised daily happy hour and (2) to repair and make available the bikes that currently sit unusable in the lobby.

Very good, reasonably priced hotel in Nolita. The balcony rooms are great, but try to get one on a higher floor for a better experience. Staff were friendly, the lobby was comfortable and the morning coffee was excellent. Rooms were average-sized for NYC. Very quiet, considering the location. I was hoping to check out the roof top bar, but it was closed for construction.

I recently moved to this hotel as an upgrade from a previous stay, expecting something nicer given the substantially higher cost. Unfortunately, the room I received was in very poor condition. The bedding and blanket were stained, as was the carpet. The toilet paper holder was so loose and crooked that the paper kept falling off. Overall, the room was dirty, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the standard I would expect for a $500-per-night stay. The service was also disappointing and did not reflect the level of hospitality one should expect at this price point. Overall, I would recommend avoiding this hotel—there are far better alternatives in the city for the same cost.

The hotel lobby is very nice, they provide amenities like a robe and slippers which is also nice. The rooms are a bit dated and didn't seem super clean. The glasses that were in the room were smudged and it could have been cleaner. But, the balcony was a nice touch. It is a great location, close to the Williamsburg bridge but still in a hot spot neighborhood in Manhattan. You are close to little italy, soho, west village, east village, tribeca and chinatown. It does get very loud on the streets at night on the weekends so I'd recommend bringing earbuds.

The room was depressing. Not very clean. Bed not nice. Heater so loud I had to turn it off and then freeze. The lobby is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Ew. I will not be back I can’t believe I paid 900 for one night to stay here.

The hotel was good. Bedroom is small but big closet, ample bathroom, comfy bed. Linens and towels plenty. My only discomfort was the floor showed a lot of stains and was dirty. It's a concrete type of floor so it masks dirt but you can see that it's dirty.

For the rate that I was being charged, I was extremely disappointed with the room / property. I walked in and the room have very little amenities, there was a dead bug on the floor I couldn't identify, then the sheets and duvet had some stains that made me feel the whole room was dirty. There was hair on the sheets, I asked them to change my sheets and nothing happened within three hours. I was so exhausted that I left to go stay at a friends house and didn’t even use my room. Super disappointing. Although the man at the front desk was friendly and nice.

Everything is perfect in this hotel except the wifi. I hate to take off a whole star for wifi, but it was crucial to my stay and frankly unusable. I told the front desk about it and they very kindly put an extender in my room, but it didn't help at all. Everything else is awesome though.

The hotel has a great location, but it is very noisy and the bed is not too comfortable. I think I would only stay here just purely for the location and fair price.in addition not great for a light sleeper. Road is quite noisy.

We did have a great stay overall. The room had everything we needed and the balcony was an extra bonus. The only downside was the WiFi which barely worked - honestly it was quicker to hot spot off my phone, and the TV reception, which was super spotty with limited channels. Not that this was a deal breaker as TV and work were not the reason for our stay, but when you pay for a hotel, you expect the basics to be provided. The staff were really nice and the rooms were super clean. Oh and you can’t beat the location. I would definitely stay again but I would ask not to stay on the 6th floor.

Location can't be beat if you want to be near Nolita, Soho and the Lower East Side with tons of restaurants and shops. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The view we had was amazing. Both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. The rooms are large for Manhattan with a large bathroom. I love having a mini fridge too. Only downside was the bed. Stiff, not comfortable, I tried my sides and my back and woke up with everything hurting. It's my 2nd stay here. Love it, but those beds are rough.

The phone in the room didn’t work (when calling the front desk for help, no one ever answered), and the internet could be spotty. But the rooms are nicely curated, quiet, and for the price point I’d still suggest it for the price point.

The service and location was the highlight of the hotel for me. The staff working the front desk were all exceptionally friendly and helpful.They went out of their way to assist us on several occasions. Really made a difference. Loved the location! Can't beat it. Will definitely be staying here again the next time i'm in NYC! This is my go to hotel from now on.

called to request a late check out and was told "you need to get out now". Staff member repeated "get out" multiple times and called the room before check out time to threaten charging a half day fee if i was late. I travel for work and have never been spoken to so poorly. Manager on duty was not receptive to my complaint and instead repeatedly told me their policy instead of listening to my complaint surrounding the way i had been spoken to.

Although the hotel was ok it left me in the state of being in a different hotel than what I saw in the pics. Also I asked for a later check out and it was granted but when I went to the desk later to confirm the other attendant told me no. Luckily another agent overheard the conversation I had with the ordinal agent and he verified it. Plus the cleaning crew still knocked on my door at 12. That tells me there’s no communication between the workers.

This was my 5th stay at the Nolitan and it was just as perfect as the first 4 times. We were greeted upon arrival by the friendliest staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to several shops and restaurants. Directly across the street from one of our favorites The Butchers Daughter and not far from Shoo Shoo Nolita. If you are an early bird like me you can walk directly across the street and grab a coffee at the convenient store 24/7. Perfect location for all!!

An excellent hotel. Central location and amazing staff. The hotel is centrally located around a plethora of dining, shopping and cocktails options. Every single staff member is excellent!!! Front the front desk staff, house keeping, restaurant and anyone you meet. Extremely helpful, friendly and always willing to help. Love this hotel!

I normally like staying here but on my last day the hotel staff rudely kicked me out of my room at 12:30 - when I had an approved late check out for 12:30. They said the called the room but I didn’t receive said call. I had someone banging on my door telling me to leave. When I opened the door he got defensive and put me on blast telling his team I have an attitude and watch out for me. I recognize I was annoyed by the interaction and gave very short responses but by no means do I feel his actions were justified.

Check-in was easy and the customer service was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner was excellent and I enjoyed the robe and slippers being available. The elevators were working the entire 3 night stay and were quick to arrive. I enjoyed the location which was pretty quiet without a lot of foot traffic or tourists.

Great location in Nolita. Great eating and drinking locations within a couple of blocks and a super easy walk to other great areas such as SoHo, Greenwich Village etc. Staff is always super friendly and helpful!

The hotel lobby is very nice, they provide amenities like a robe and slippers which is also nice. The rooms are a bit dated and didn't seem super clean. The glasses that were in the room were smudged and it could have been cleaner. But, the balcony was a nice touch. It is a great location, close to the Williamsburg bridge but still in a hot spot neighborhood in Manhattan. You are close to little italy, soho, west village, east village, tribeca and chinatown. It does get very loud on the streets at night on the weekends so I'd recommend bringing earbuds.

When we were walking down the hallway, we could hear other guests and were concerned it would be a problem in the room for sleeping - but it wasn't at all. The room was incredibly quiet, blocking out noise both from the other guests and the street. The location is excellent for dining options and access to subway. Highly recommend.

The hotel has a great location, but it is very noisy and the bed is not too comfortable. I think I would only stay here just purely for the location and fair price.in addition not great for a light sleeper. Road is quite noisy.

Location can't be beat if you want to be near Nolita, Soho and the Lower East Side with tons of restaurants and shops. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The view we had was amazing. Both the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. The rooms are large for Manhattan with a large bathroom. I love having a mini fridge too. Only downside was the bed. Stiff, not comfortable, I tried my sides and my back and woke up with everything hurting. It's my 2nd stay here. Love it, but those beds are rough.

Wonderful short stay but made so by friendly, professional staff who pointed out that we could park in front of the hotel after 7 pm on Saturday for free - which we found such a space when we arrived in the pouring rain - which made the mad dash from the car to the hotel door as convenient as could be! Then, checking in, they bumped us up to the corner king room due to full occupancy of the standard rooms - bumped up as a courtesy. Loved the king bed with the Egyptian cotton sheets - you can definitely feel the difference and we slept so well! We enjoyed dinner without leaving the hotel (still pouring rain), in Kim bi chi - a Japanese/Italian fusion restaurant that was the bomb! Darwin, our waiter, was super responsive, made great recommendations for appetizers, mocktails, and dinner - and he added a special something with his sense of humor! The next morning - Sun breaks out between the clouds! All in all - an awesome hotel - would definitely stay at The Nolitan again!

It was clean & nice Lobby. Nothing really special for the price. A bit bigger than the last hotel I was in NY. What I didn't like was there was no coffee or kettle in room. How hard is it to put that in a room? Plus, not very secure, as you could just walk up to your room & didn't need room key to access the elevator. I the morning there was a lady wandering the halls & tried to walk into my room as I was exiting. I feel not needing your key to use the elevator ensures random people off the street can't come up to the room hallways.

wifi was on and off, which made it difficult to complete work. A few days there was no coffee. some furniture was worn, such as side tables. AC was great and Beds were comfortable. Loved the Aveda products. Great location. Manager was gracious to discount due to wifi and coffee issues.

First the location is amazing. Close to many shops, restaurants, museums, parks, Anything you want to do you can basically walk. The hotel itself is super cute, clean and inviting. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Note there is not coffee in some rooms but they do serve coffee in the lobby every morning. I would stay here again and again.

For $400 a night there are almost no amenities provided and whatever is there is very primitive, I guess the price is for the amazing location, everything is walkable including all train stations and good places to eat around. It could do with more amenities like complimentary tea/coffee keurigs, and microwaves. Shower is completely transparent which is so weird because unless you're a couple, two people cant live together in this room. No shower area/toilet cubicle to hang clothes. Very few plugpoints in the room (none near the beds). No water provided, we had to buy water every day. Room was extremely clean and so was the hotel overall but I didnt feel it was worth $400 a night.

Great location. It’s a simple hotel with all the necessary amenities. There is no breakfast served but you are in the middle of so many great restaurants. The gym is a three minute walk away and it’s such a nice place to have a great workout. We will stay here again.

The rooms are nice, like a modern industrial loft. The restaurant connected to the hotel is real nice. the only thing i didnt like is they charged me for stuff from the mini fridge that i just didnt touch i usually go to the corner store and buy water but they charged me for waters and juice and i didnt feel like wasting my time disputing it so just be aware of your bill upon checkout it was surprising. Other than that I would recommend. Its walking distance to a lot of bars, restaurants, china town etc..
