The pool was dirty --- other than that - very nice place to stay

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. The property and grounds were clean and well maintained. My room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. I also enjoyed spending time at the pool—it was a good size and very relaxing. The water could be a few degrees warmer, and I’d recommend adding more towels in the room. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and I especially appreciated the breakfast team for their positive attitude and attentiveness. The breakfast itself was average but convenient and satisfying. The price was reasonable for a last-minute booking, though it could have been about $5–10 cheaper. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

Very helpful staff member at front desk. Clean and modern throughout. Comfortable beds and pillows. Made use of the laundry room. Very convenient. We had a very pleasant stay.

The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The lobby was a nice place to meet up with friends. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The parking area was safe and well lit. Breakfast was ok, you ran out of what you had for the protein, egg options (egg on a muffin and the quiche) on Sat and Sunday. We had people coming in for a reunion, so that was disappointing. Overall, I would stay here again.

Great customer service from Dina, location was terrific and the pool was perfect.

Quiet but helpful welcome. Stayed in a suite which was clean. Fridge & microwave helpful. The suite was smaller than expected but true to the photos. Breakfast better than expected. Great pool area, warm water, no hot tub. Good gym area. Theres an eating place next door but we went further afield. Convenient for what we wanted, didn’t use outside areas as the weather was cool.

It was a very good stay...easy check in and out...clean room, good breakfast....but the pool needs an upgrade...the mattress needs to be changed.

Newer clean rooms & clean hotel. Advertised laundry available but the machines didn’t work even tho they were available for use & would take your money. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very limited & subpar but probably on par for this class level

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I am just very disappointed that at check in I was told the pool was not available. The reason I chose this location was for my 3 kids, my mom and I to use the indoor pool on our first family trip together and first time in New Jersey and New York. My kids were so upset as they should be I told them I chose a place for them to enjoy the pool and it was not available to us. We should of been notified before hand to find another hotel with a pool for us to enjoy the trip better. I drove 20 hrs to enjoy 4 nights in your hotel and city.

Hotel authority should know, kid lives pool. Very disappointed pool was out of order. It looks like they kept it for a while.

I am requesting a full refund of $355.36. My mother (dementia) and I did not stay because as soon as you walk into the hotel you smell mildew. The room looked clean but spell liked mold and mildew. The curtain border had brown stains. To include false advertisement. The sign that Expedia Displayed is not the same sign at this location. We drove around on that street to make sure we were at the right location. Health Inspectors are definitely warranted at this location. I have the receipt from the second hotel that we had to check in at due to negligence of false advertising. Please reverse/refund $355.56 the charges because services were not rendered. There was something sticky on the rug near the bed, there was long hair hanging off the light and paper was peeling by the window.

The staff was quite nice but the entire property reeked almost unbearably. I would not suggest staying here if you have any issues with breathing or allergens, it will cause substantial medical problems.

Front desk associate was super friendly and the check-in was quick and easy. The room was fine, but smelled very musty like maybe there was water damage at some point? The room was clean, although we did find and kill a stink bug. The bathroom was clean, but small. Overall it was fine for two nights. The location was very convenient.

Had the ammenities we needed ... indoor pool for rainy day entertainment for our daughter, nice trails at scarlet oak pond nearby as well as easy access to harriman state park beaches... free breakfast was better than most lots of options, studio suite offered ample room and was clean... internet was buggy at times would be only complaint... easy access to legoland and we enjoyed an indoor play space in Nanuet on a rainy day...

Room was nice. But room had absolutely no view except out window to air-conditioning units. Very disappointed and upset about that room view.

The only downside to staying here was the tavern next door. The music was so loud until 12-1230am and I was unable to sleep.

Friday night stay and the band playing in the club across the parking lot was load in our front facing room. Recommend on weekends quests ask for room on the backside of the hotel or spend the evening at the club.

Room was a little small but perfect for our stay.

Room is and was Very Tired tv didn’t work no hot water Saturday morning 2 pillows on a mini King probably queen bed but we paid for a king room not going back and we always stayed there !

Th one thing I didn't like was the air conditioner. Very loud. Every 5-7 minutes it kicks on with a rumble and won't let you sleep.

I wouldn't recommend staying at this location. The room was not as described online. I booked a regular king size bed and I got a handicap room. To top it off The host was very rude and not polite. once we informed her of the issue with our stay. She immediately became bothered by helping us. This room cost less than what I paid for. I would like a full refund for the inconvenience this caused me to stay at another hotel.

I like that fact that the property was in a decent location and it was quiet. There was an incident that occurred at the property and the staff acted quickly to resolve the issue with a pleasant attitude in spite of the situation.

Very Disappointing, typically excellent quality comes with the Marriott name. Had to wait for person to check us in until he was done with his phone call that obviously wasn't with a customer. Then he was kinda rude, was no used to this since he was frontline exposure to customers. After a long day of travel and vacation we had no hot water for our shower. They said they would get in touch to comp us or make it right and I've heard nothing!

I booked two nights, July 4-5, Thursday and Friday. Friday morning, I went to front desk to ask if I could switch to another room, because my current room was too small, my husband and I couldn’t work together. The bathroom door can’t be closed, and the closet door can’t be closed either. The lady was friendly and said no problem! I told her I wanted a room with a sofa, and I would like to pay for the difference. I asked how much the difference was, she said $20. I said no problem. She asked me to check out my current room and she would give me a new room, and I asked if I had to wait until 15:00 to check in again, she said no, she had an available room now. After that, she spent a long time to making me a membership, actually I don’t want it if I know it cost me so long time standing in the front des. She asked my credit card again, and I gave her, I thought she wanted to charge the new room deposit, but when I asked her if that was for the room deposit, she said I booked only one night online! I showed her my booking confirmation, she just said it’s weird again and again, and I waited for almost one hour, she said the money would be returned in several business days. However, nothing happened! I left a message with the hotel, the GM sent me an email and said she would return my money, but after several days, nothing happened. When I sent email to ask her, no response! Now, July 26, I saw the small deposit $40 was released, but the extra room fee $200 wasn’t returned.

We were there only for one night. There we absolutely no hot water to clean ourselves in the morning. We tried to call the frontdesk to see what they could do, but the phone was also broken... we left without showering. I complained, and the staff was receptive and understanding. They offered a rebate for the night, but it never came. Very disapointed.

The staff was very accommodating. We asked to switch room late during the day. I can tell it was difficult finding a free room but the staff came through and found a room we enjoyed staying.

Location is directly accessible from 287 with nice staff and welcoming room space.

We loved the central location to what we were doing and that it was a bit off the highway = very quiet!

Hotel tucked behind I17 so it was quiet but easily accessible to everything. Walk across the parking lot to a nice bar & grill (even with live music on the weekends)

Jeana was great at checkin and checkout! Breakfast was adequate. "Fresh fruit" in the Garden State just apples and bananas? Come on,you can certainly do better. Also only super strong coffee! Had to mix with water,need a medium or light roast. Snacks way overpriced,at least post prices. Otherwise a very nice stay!

The room and amenities were great. The breakfast area the waffle maker undercooked the waffles. I guess from the attendant it was a new unit and maybe needed adjustment. There was no orange juice in the drink dispenser nor avaiable out from the fridge. Neither will prevent me from staying there again. It have a niece easy access location for the conference I go to every other year.
