Very nice, inexpensive place to stay, especially if you have a dog. Lovely mexican charm. With some paint and touch ups, this place could be so nice. The beds were comfy. Definitely could use some new towels. The pool looked dirty but lots of kids using it. We couldnt get any channels on the tv but thats ok. Secure parking was nice to have. * Not a great place to walk your dog in the area as there were a few packs of street dogs running around. All in all a nice, simple place and I would stay again.

I found this hotel for a quick trip with friends to La Paz. The hotel is a fraction of the cost of some of the other hotels that are right on the beach even though this hotel is only 3 small streets away from the Malecon (about a 5-7 minute walk). I booked two separate rooms and when we arrived (around 930) the front desk was very welcoming and was able to let us check into our rooms since they were ready. The rooms were huge and had two very comfy queen beds. The rooms were extremely clean (clean floors, walls, and blankets smelled good) and were simple (small closet, dresser, and table). We had a balcony in both are rooms which were a nice touch). There was a good working AC unit and toiletries in the bathroom. The only con was the room did not have a fridge. The property has this cool open space in the middle with a large pool that was extremely clean and they cleaned every night. There’s a restaurant on property with good food and drinks.

Great quiet location, beautiful pool, nice rooms. Things to improve... Overall cleanness could be improved specially on sheets and covers. The 9pm curfew should be stricter, two nights we had a party night. The restaurant opens too late to make it on time to any excursions.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this hotel. The rooms are large and clean and the common area is exquisite. My husband and I were able to walk to coffee every morning and dinner at night. The hotel is located in a very safe and quiet part of town, easily walkable to many different restaurants. We cannot wait to return!

El hotel está muy bien precio calidad, limpio y las cuartos remodelados. Es un hotel normal, nada de lujo pero cumple con las expectativas y está a unas cuadras del malecón y en una buena ubicación. Encima todo el staff super amable. Nos alojaríamos aquí de nuevo sin problemas.

The online photos were deceiving. It appeared to be decent for the low price from the outside. HOWVER, the room was filthy and SMELLY! The raw sewage was coming up through the pipes in the bathroom and the odor was unbearable throughout the entire unit the whole time. The air conditioner poured water all over the floor like a waterfall and flooded the room. Pay a little extra and find another place that is clean and reputable and pass on this one.

Checking was a mess. The "regular girl" was out and sub had no clue about our reservations for 4 rooms. Took a very long time, she let us in but has to "check" w regular girl tomorrow. A mess. Property is NOT like photos, dirty, pool not clean, restaurant closed. Rooms are clean but no blankets just sheets and coverlet (that's hard and uncomfortable as a cover). badly needs updating. Tiles are loose and coming up concrete permanently stained. Grounds are pretty shabby.

Pros - clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice pool, few minutes walk from the water and less than 15 minutes walk to Malecon. Quiet neighborhood. Cons - internet is mediocre in the rooms and non -existent by the pool or restaurant so no laptop work by the pool. You will also have to walk 10 minutes for bottled water or beer/wine etc.

The staff were all helpful and friendly! The area was peaceful and serene, the pool area, front entrance and rooms were exceptionally clean! We would definitely stay here again!
The staff were all helpful and friendly! The area was peaceful and serene, the pool area, front entrance and rooms were exceptionally clean! We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at the Hacienda Bugambilias for 10 days in early December '24 and enjoyed everything about this place! Very authentic, the staff were great and took care of our every need. Good food at the restaurant and slept great every night! Nice and quiet with off street parking! Highly recommend this Hacienda!

La actitud de la recepcionista fué muy grosera, sin ver por la comodidad y satisfacción del cliente. Pudiendo ser flexibles en otorgar 15 minutos para empacar nuestras pertenencias a la hora del check out, decidieron cobrarnos media tarifa del día, con una actitud grosera y prepotente. Checking was a mess. The "regular girl" was out and sub had no clue about our reservations for 4 rooms. Took a very long time, she let us in but has to "check" w regular girl tomorrow. A mess. Property is NOT like photos, dirty, pool not clean, restaurant closed. Rooms are clean but no blankets just sheets and coverlet (that's hard and uncomfortable as a cover). badly needs updating. Tiles are loose and coming up concrete permanently stained. Grounds are pretty shabby.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this hotel. The rooms are large and clean and the common area is exquisite. My husband and I were able to walk to coffee every morning and dinner at night. The hotel is located in a very safe and quiet part of town, easily walkable to many different restaurants. We cannot wait to return!

I found this hotel for a quick trip with friends to La Paz. The hotel is a fraction of the cost of some of the other hotels that are right on the beach even though this hotel is only 3 small streets away from the Malecon (about a 5-7 minute walk). I booked two separate rooms and when we arrived (around 930) the front desk was very welcoming and was able to let us check into our rooms since they were ready. The rooms were huge and had two very comfy queen beds. The rooms were extremely clean (clean floors, walls, and blankets smelled good) and were simple (small closet, dresser, and table). We had a balcony in both are rooms which were a nice touch). There was a good working AC unit and toiletries in the bathroom. The only con was the room did not have a fridge. The property has this cool open space in the middle with a large pool that was extremely clean and they cleaned every night. There’s a restaurant on property with good food and drinks.

Tiene una excelente ubicación, a 3 calles del malecón. Para los que visitan por primera vez, no abren el restaurante los lunes y hay que salir a buscar donde comer. La comida y el servicio del hotel está muy bien. Las habitaciones son grandes.

What we liked was the peace and quiet of the hotel. swimming pool very well kept and so handy to have it right there outside your room. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant didn't have many choices and needs more attractive and delicious food. Over all it was a great hotel.

Great hotel! Very old but well maintained and very clean. Restaurant on property which is convenient. The only complaint would be the internet that was very slow at times causing tv to freeze. Overall it was a great stay

Great quiet location, beautiful pool, nice rooms. Things to improve... Overall cleanness could be improved specially on sheets and covers. The 9pm curfew should be stricter, two nights we had a party night. The restaurant opens too late to make it on time to any excursions.

We were in town for a softball tournament and decided to try a different hotel. We really enjoyed the property. The rooms are huge and we'll appointed. The staff was friendly as well. Unfortunately our room wasn't cleaned but that wasn't the end of the world. I got fresh towels from the front desk. In addition, our bed was horrible and definitely needs replacement. Finally it was not clear when the restaurant is open. But we found the hotel a nice surprise and we'll stay there again.
