Bad lightening behind casitas

Nice room and breakfast. The workout room and pool were also very great.

We could use other hotel's pool. Breakfast options were great, even my kids ate a lot. We had eve thing we needed.

Great value…when we arrived I asked if I could have a room with a bathtub and was told I could call Expedia and ask them. Really surprised by that response. The hotel had a nice heated pool and free parking and good options for breakfast. The room was comfy.

Except elevators missing in condos everything was good

Excellent service. Breakfast was good. Easy to manuever since we were in the main part of the hotel. Laundry room was expensive $8 to wash and dry one load. Only 2 machines for the whole hotel. They did a nice reception meal on wednesdays for guest (hot dogs and hamburgers), included in the stay. Outdoor pool was not heated, so did not spend time swimming. Not much to do in the area if you are not into casinos.

This would have been a really good stay if everything worked. When checking in, the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Fixed quickly. Then, when unloading the car, the elevator stopped working. The front desk knew how to reset it - which happened more than once during our stay. It's apparently a "thing" at this hotel. Then when we hooked up our phones to the USB ports, they didn't work, nor did the electric plugs if we tried to hook up more than one device. Next morning, in the a.m., tried to make coffee. Thought the coffee maker was broken, so we requested a new one, which was promptly delivered. Eventually turned out it wasn't the coffee maker, it was some of the plugs in the kitchen too. We plugged the new coffee maker into the plug for the microwave and it worked fine. All that said, comfortable beds, kitchenette had everything you needed (pots, pans, dishes, silverware) other appliances worked fine (including dishwasher). It was a suite, so separate living area from the bedroom. Staff was always very helpful and responsive. Cleaning crews were very nice. Pretty grounds with walking trails. This hotel is part of a complex/Hilton resort, you can apparently play the golf course and such too through the resort. There is also a nice casino there if that is your thing. We stayed three nights, actually to go to the opera. Again, this would have been a really good stay if all those little issues hadn't kept occurring.

The rooms are very spacious and the property is very open and attractive inside and out. The hot breakfast is good and parking is free and plentiful. While the hotel is fifteen minutes north of Santa Fe, it’s well worth the drive because of the moderate price, the large, quiet rooms, and the very upscale property.

Everything was great Wish there had been a jacuzzi

Wife and I are both 75 years old and have normal aches and pains for our age. We were assigned the outside building on the second floor. No elevator in the building which required use to drag our heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs. No fun. Front door to our building had an ant infestation going on, call to front desk did solve this issue. Ants due to overfilled trash can outside. Had to ask for that to be emptied also. Went into indoor hot tub and people with kids and float toys took it over.

Roomy clean

It was good but there was mold/mildew in the shower. Towel rack was ready too fall off the wall. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Rooms were spotless. Staff member checking us in was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Had a great time overall. Only took away one star because we came down to eat breakfast after our first night. My son asked how many plates is he allowed to have of food. I told my son “eat as much as you’d like”. One of the staff members who put out the food gave me a pretty dirty look for saying that and said something under her breath. BTW my son hasn’t really stayed much in hotels so it was just amazing to him that he can eat a complementary breakfast. He only had one plate…

Property needs some deep cleaning but staff otherwise helpful and friendly

Carpet smelled of pet pee. Maintenance re shampooed but eventually the Oder continued. Only one bed side stand and light. Over head BR light did not work, Couch and chair were almost at the end of service life. Stairs to the bedroom and master bath,

It was obvious a cat had lived in our room. It smelled cat urine. I have severe cat allergies. It was a horrible night. You should be grateful I had medicine to help me through the night or you would have been rushing me to the hospital. I’m told pets are allowed in all the rooms and nothing his pet free. Ridiculous. No reason you couldn’t reserve a section of rooms for pets. And safe rooms for people with allergies. Pretty sad when we put animals ahead of people

The room was clean..needs some renovations and upkeep .

The room was extremely clean, and the staff was super nice. I enjoyed the hot breakfast on Sunday.The studio hotel room was literally the size of a small studio apartment. I enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Room was clean but carpet ripped in multiple places. Needs replaced. Pet fee of $100.00 was outrageous. Expedia details had fee listed at $50.00

Clean

We've stayed here several times and love it. It's a beautiful hotel that is very reasonably priced. When we first stayed there in 2019, there were more mountain views. Now, new buildings have been built which means that the mountain views aren't as clear from the room. Other than that, it's a very nice place and the staff is great.

We needed to stay between Santa Fe and Abiquiu. Our one night was great. Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi was not good and we were on the second floor with no elevator.

Ok for the price. I would not book here again. It is fine for a one night stay but very out dated.

Spacious suite. Like a complete apt! Thrilled with the accommodations.

Homewood suites was the perfect oasis for us. The two bedroom suite was the perfect size for our family, and loved the two separate bathrooms. A+++

Only issue was shower was very small

The suites are large and well designed. It is a good value for the room rate. The location is convenient to do several different types of activities in the area.

The room was large and beautifully furnished. The ac wasn't blowing directly on the bed. Also, the breakfast was a step above! The downfall was the shower was tiny and lame. They need a new shower head. However, we very much enjoyed our visit.

The property is nice and quiet. I have stayed in the main building before. This time we stayed in one of the casitas, a two-bedroom suite. We could hear every sound of the person above us and next to us.

Check in was a breeze, thanks Robbie. Breakfast was good. The room was excellent. We had a wonderful stay!

We love Homewood suites & try to stay at them anytime we can when traveling but not impressed with this location. The setup is not convenient or accommodating nor do they state it on the website. We were in one of the casitas and not in main building so ice machine not convenient, only ice machine in main building on 2nd floor (not 3rd floor as front desk stated either), so have to go out casita past several other casitas and through parking lot to main building, same with breakfast not convenient because also in main building and they didn’t keep food stocked especially with the amount of people there, the waffle maker line was always about 20-30 people deep because again 1 waffle maker and too many guests to accommodate. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Checkout time was noon and housekeeper was knocking on our door before 8am when we had a do not disturb on it! So slightly inconsiderate as well. But we won’t let one location change our minds because we still prefer Homewood suites, just won’t book this location again.

Confusion at check in My reservation weeks earlier was for a king size bed and they said they did not have a king size room!! After checking with the manager 4 times ( never saw the manager) they found a king room Very frustrating! The accommodation was average but expected more for the $250 rate and the 9 star rating

While maintenance staff offered help when taking bags to car, check in staff was not as friendly as during previous stays. Check out staff and service was very friendly.

The customer representative that helped me both days was awesome!!! She went above and beyond will definitely stay there again!

The service and staff were wonderful.

Iliana at the front desk was excellent, our reservation was not in the system and she didn’t turn us away she got on the phone and worked on it til the reservation showed up. It was pouring rain when we wanted to go to the casino and she got the hotel van to take us there and pick us up . The next morning she was up front as cheerful and helpful.

The exterior walkways leading toward the Executive Suite lacks sufficient lighting. When I inquired about moving to a standard suite which is in the main part of the hotel, the staff stated they couldn’t allow me to move rooms because I booked through Expedia. The hidden message I received from them was “don’t book through a third party.”

Pros: great welcome at reception, a follow up text to make sure everything was ok, tasty free breakfast, decent coffee, clean, comfortable and quiet room. Cons: dirty dishware and cutlery at breakfast - they had styrofoam plates but the cutlery was greasy. Overall - highly recommend

Room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was very good. My only complaint was being awakened at 7 a.m. by a text telling me how to do my checkout at 11 a.m.!

If you do not mind a short drive (about 15min into town), this is the place to stay while visiting Santa Fe. Beautiful views, plenty of parking, and quite. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff!

Beautiful area and close to downtown Santa Fe

Few food options nearby. A place to stay on the very edge of Santa Fe but you’re quite a ways out of town when you’re here. Nice place, though, and convenient enough if you’re passing through.

Our stay at Homewood Suites was exceptional. The property was clean, nice view, and near the casino.

My family had a good stay during the Christmas holiday. The hotel is close to the skiing and snow sledding locations and also not far from the city. Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast, and nice manager's social on Wednesday.

Property was located next to the casino but not attached so separate but close. Breakfast was nice, other amenities were on par with a upper level property. Our room/s were great and spacious for 5 people.

Clean, spacious rooms. Seemed to be difficult for staff to keep up with breakfast flow, eggs and potatoes not warm, waffle batter empty,etc. No room service, which we were not informed of at the front desk. Shampoo bottle empty in shower. Towel rails kept falling off as they had not been properly secured. Minor things. A convenient drive to the Santa Fe Opera without the city traffic.

Nice place just outside of Santa Fe. Breakfast was not great but rest of property was nice.

Delicious breakfast with lots of options every morning. Ease of getting on the freeway and proximity to lots of places. Friendly staff.
