The welcome was excellent, unfortunately the receptionist had to tell us that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance reasons. This was a major disappointment we would have welcomed prior notice. One of the reasons we chose Warren house was the draw of a swimming pool. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and during the hot weather the AC worked very well, a big plus for us. The breakfast was reasonably good but it has been our recent experience, as at other hotels, that the hot Buffet food was cold apart from the eggs that were fried to order half way through the breakfast. We feel that egg order should be taken when you are allocated your table. The evening menu was basic and limited but served hot and was plentiful. In common with with most hotels the cost of alcoholic beverages was exorbitant. The hotel interior requires some redecoration but this did not detract from our experience and we appreciated the polite and help full staff and the magnificent grounds and the total lack of outside noise. Despite its faults we would stay again.

We had a wonderful family stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel is set in a beautiful historic building, with lovely gardens that made it feel peaceful and relaxing, it was hard to believe we were still in Greater London. The staff were exceptional from start to finish, always friendly, helpful and genuinely willing to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. If I could give the staff more than five stars, I would. We stayed in a family room, which was clean, beautifully decorated and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room for the double sofa bed and a travel cot for our baby. It made travelling with two young children so much easier. The food was absolutely delicious, and after a busy day exploring Hampton Court Palace it was lovely to come back somewhere so quiet and welcoming. There also seemed to be plenty of parking, which was another big plus. Overall, Warren House made our trip feel effortless and relaxing. It was the perfect base for exploring London while having somewhere calm and comfortable to return to. We would happily recommend it to anyone.

If I could give this hotel a zero rating I would. I booked 10 months ago via Hotels.com. The week of my two night reservation I once again received confirmation and a welcome email. I called to make dinner reservations for our stay. It was my birthday and wedding anniversary and I had carefully selected this beautiful manor hotel, which was close to Wimbledon, where we would be watching the tennis. Five hours after receiving my welcome email I received another email saying they had relocated us to another hotel. It was not nearly comparable and much further away from Wimbledon. When I called the manager he could give me no reason why we had been bumped to another hotel. Whilst they did comp this less than mediocre hotel we stayed in we had occurred additional expenses to get to and from Wimbledon. This was supposed to be a very special celebration and left us with an awful and disappointing stay to say the least!! As an overseas visitor to your country I cannot believe you would treat customers like this. Absolutely disgusting!!

What a wonderful place. There were a couple of things that disappointed us (pool closed, refrigerator broken), but the staff was so accommodating and friendly that they made it okay.
