Regular returning guest. Was a busy Friday night which is not a day I usually stay. I felt the valet, bar etc was understaffed & overwhelmed, not the usual high standard of service I have come to know. One of the bar staff was particularly rude. Lifts very slow & out of order which is becoming a recurring theme !! Otherwise everything else was great, pool, spa, gym, breakfast etc. considering how busy the hotel was it was a nice quiet room experience.

the service when we arrived was 2 out of 10. until the young lady came from out of the back room. She was so efficient compared to the rest and i wish i new her name. We interacted a few time with her she should be trying the rest of the team. the room was ok and the breakfast was very good. The pool area and gym are excellent

Great location. Excellent pool area & gym, sauna, steam room. Friendly check in staff who helped me with some challenges. Comfortable bed, quiet rooms. Great on site bar. My only recurring concern at this property is the breakfast area, it seems overwhelmed & understaffed at busy times which simply seem to be unavoidable at any times recently. Also the chef does his own thing regardless of my order.

The staff welcomed us so graciously as 100 cruise ship passengers arrived at the same time. It seemed so overwhelming, yet all the staff were patient and efficient and processed us quickly into our rooms. Absolutely wonderful service!!! The rooms were immaculate and roomy. Highly recommend Pullman Auckland Hotel.

Stayed in a room on 7th floor overlooking the city and port. Could see Takapuna in the distance. Lovely hotel, comfy bed, very clean. Fabulous front desk welcome from the girl who's name I cant remember. She was so warm and friendly and made all the difference.

The stay was perfectly fine. The room clean and presentable but could do with a refurb, bathroom and decor were a bit dated. And felt quite small. Disappointingly no one made up our room between the 2 nights we stayed despite the request on our door. So we ran out of tea and coffee! The lobby, restaurant and bar were fresh and modern with good service. Check in and check out was easy. Good central location.

The staff in general were great, really friendly and professional. Unfortunately we found a fake nail in our room and underneath the beds was disgusting - old food, socks, shoes and rubbish. When we brought it up with reception staff they gave us a drinks voucher while they had our whole room cleaned again and gave us a breakfast voucher for the next morning which we really appreciated.

Loved facilities and location but bathroom in room needed an upgrade. No extraction fan and mould in places. Fixtures were not to standard I would expect for calibre of hotel. Water pressure out of shower was terrible.

Cuabdo llegué al hotel e hice el check in al entrar a la habitación hacia muchisima calor ya que la calefaccion estabs encendida. Mi sorrpsa fue cuando llegue al cuarto de baño y la bañare estaba lleva de pelos al igual que la cama. Baje a reception y el manager con su reaccion me dio a entender que no me creia por lo que me dijo de ir conmigo a la habitación a comprobarlo, cuando vio que tenia razón me ofrecio otra habitación en la miama planta Entré en la habitación y noté que hacia mucho más fresquito que la otra y pensé por lo menos esta no es una sauna. Comprobé el baño y parecía limpio así que le dije al manager del hotel que estaba contenta con esa habitación. Mi sorpesa fue cusndo por la noche hacia frio y decidí encender la calefacción. No funcionaba. Solo salia aire frio. Probe incluso a 30 grados. Estaba roto. El servicio recibido por parte del staff no me parecio el correcto. Ya no quise reclamar más pero el manager debia estar al tanto que la habitación que me estaba ofreciendo no funcionaba y aun así decidió ofrecerme esa a cambio de ls otra donse hacia muchísima calor and bañera con pelo. Me parece inaceptable el servicio y las condiciones para ser un hotel de casi 5 estrellas y perteneciente a una gran cadena.

The room was dated, needs renovating desperately! Did not expect the room to be dated with no power sockets by the bed and bulky table lamps on antique night stands. The tv was on a unit not hung on the wall- haven’t seen tv on a unit for a while now. The room did not live up to a 5 star rated hotel! Lobby area was nicely done but the room was shockingly old and disappointing. Pullman needs to pull its socks up.

Great check in experience, staff were brilliant, but room was sparsely furnished for its size, and had a loud electric hum that kept me awake all night. I arrived at 11pm after a very delayed flight and a horrible experience at the hotel I was booked to stay at and the staff were very efficient but not being able to sleep ruined the stay.

A busy hotel. The day I checked in was hosting some events. I found the card access life doesn’t need to tap your room card to the room, so basically it can be accessed by anyone. If you stay at the backside of the hotel , you can see nothing other than the neighrboring buildings wall which is very different from the photos. Very dark room even you turn on all the lights.

The hotel was nice and we enjoyed the spa. Beds were very comfy. On the down side I requested information about the breakfast options ahead of our stay as I have special dietary requirements and was told that someone would email but unfortunately nobody did. I chased it up when we checked in but no one was available to help with my query and again no one followed up. Our room was not ready at 3pm which left us rushed for our afternoons plans.

Only I would say is the valet drivers were quite dangerous. Leaving Sunday morning, lots of kids around the drivers were driving into the drive way at speed and no care on whose car they were driving. Saw a few brake slams. If that was my car I would not be impressed. I think they just need to come in calmly and watching for pedestrians on the driveway. Shower head was a little wonky and wouldn't stay in the middle of shower. Other than that, it was amazing hotel. Great comfy beds, pillows and blackout curtains. Lots of towels etc. Just wish could stay longer.

The staff truly made this property 5 star, the lobby and surrounding areas were in beautiful condition. We were upgraded to the Suite which was very much appreciated. I found the suite was very spacious. the shower in the bathtub and the amenities weren't quite the 5 star experience I would have expected, however everything was in good working order and the staff went above and beyond to assist me with an early check in.

My room was ready hours after the check in time and no one seemed to be able to help. I had just came from the beach and wanted to shower before eating and that was not possible. Once I got my room, they said my left luggage bags were in my room but they were not so I had to work with reception to locate them which was (a) terrifying at the time they lost them and (b) shouldn’t have been on me to solve. Other than that, the room was not very clean, slow elevators, and most of the staff were really aggressive or aloof.

The location, across from the university and adjacent to a park is picturesque. The room had a view of all of this. The restaurant is okay, but there are no washroom facilities on the same level, making this a difficult place to navigate for someone with mobility problems. The location is only a short walk from downtown, but it is a steep hill.

The location at the top of a steep hill makes the walk to and from the central shopping area a little challenging. Although that cannot be changed, you should consider this when considering hotel accommodation in Auckland. We used valet parking for our hire car, which was waiting outside when we were ready to leave. When we stayed here 10 days earlier we had faced a delay.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Service is excellent. The only work is the food - ordered a “pork belly mac & cheese” for kids at $17 a pop and it was ham. Other items we had were quite average for standard prices. We were there for my daughter to have an operation up the road so spent majority of the time at the hotel. The pool area is fantastic and kept my son entertained for hours. This is our third stay and we will be back.

The atmosphere is stunning, the staff was helpful, and the room was luxurious. Only downfall was not being able to get through to room service, but upon getting my DoorDash order I saw it was packed. However, what made up for it was the breakfast buffet. It was phenomenal and by far the best breakfast I’ve had. Period.
