Wonderful in every way except for very expensive parking and difficulty getting a spot outside the doors to unload luggage. Great value for money. Our room with kitchenette was spacious and luxurious and exceeded our expectations. Staff were accommodating. On-site food and drink options were great and very convenient. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The pool was small but it was nice to have an indoor pool, especially in the heat, and the seating area around it was relaxing.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms. The breakfast is a gem. Good food and a wide variety. Pool is ver small so it got crowded quickly would be my only complaint about the hotel itself. All the restaurants that are close by close early so if you are looking for a night out make sure you start early.

Hotel room was great with dishwater, fridge, dishwasher and sink. Some of the plates and dishes were dirty so we had to rewash before using. Also, there was no parking, so we had to park in a garage down the street. When I did research, it showed that the property had EV chargers, but they did not the hotel was clean, spacious, and in an area where you could stroll to shops and dining.

The rooms are awesome and have great amenities. We enjoyed the pool and the views. The “parking available” means an expensive valet option but there are a couple of garages close by that are more affordable. The staff are fine but not exceptional.

The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. Short walk to the water. The pool was awesome! Dog friendly which is cool. TV was lame. Not a smart TV with hardly any channels. Luckily I had my firestick with me. Had a kitchen which was nice but had to ask 3 times for a sponge. Extra blanket was worse than hospital quality. Only onsite parking was Valet at $52 a night and then you are expected to tip the valet every time. They have an app for that to “help make it easier” but it charges you a “convenience fee” every time. So your $5 tip ends up $6.50. Dog friendly but you have to walk around the block for a spot for them to pee/poop.

We stayed in the studio king with sofa bed. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable sofa bed I've ever come accross. Considering the price of the hotel I hope they upgrade the mattress on the sofa beds. Peloton wasn't properly set up in the gym either. Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby is a nice touch.

So we have stayed here on multiple occasions and usually enjoy ourselves. Our last stay although nice had a couple of issues. We were delayed into getting our room, the room was not as clean as it should have been with hairs etc in the bathroom and shower and not necessarily the hotels issue but there was a ton of children and teens during our most recent stay. This made for a loud and obnoxious time. We were there to relax and kids were running the floors and it was chaos trying to get anything to eat at the morning breakfast.

I remember staying here years ago and liking it a lot. It’s so convenient to get on the street car right outside the door and it’s right at the river with a nice path to walk on. Everything felt dirty though. Even the carpet in the hallway needed to be vacuumed and had visible debris. The room felt dirty and the dishes in the kitchen were dirty. The extra sheets for the pull out bed had hairs in them and there was no warm blanket unless we went back down to the front desk - no room service to make up for their lack! I wouldn’t stay here again.

We’ve stayed here before several times and had mostly very positive experiences. This time our room was definitely very worn and not clean. Dirty dishes in the cabinets, debris on the floors, mold in the shower, spills on the island, carpet was frayed at the thresholds, all the furniture was stained and chipped, and we discovered there was a tripped fuse that kept tripping every time we tried to use lamps or the tv.

Shower has lots of hard water stains and brown staining looked very dirty. No onsite parking, only expensive valet between 6am and 11pm, outside those hours you are on your own. Also $30 early check in fee before 2pm which wasn't mentioned online.

The hotel itself was great , the customer service was great but the rooms were awful . There was a headband and baby medicine left behind from previous guest behind the nightstand and under the bed , behind the nightstand was atleast an inch of dust . The plates were not clean at all , they still had food pieces on them . There was hair on the carpet in multiple places , I’ve stayed in many hotels and the mattress was the absolute worst .

King size room was super spacious. I loved being able to open the window to get in thr cool breeze at night. Every staff member was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and had lots of options.

We ran into quite a few issues. We called front desk to have the grill turned on and cleaned. They called awhile later says it was ready. All they did was turn iton the grill was filthy. There was used dirty utensils on the grill table. The island table and the grill side tables were full of old caked on food. I'm just shocked that the worker went and turned the grill on and left the the area in such a messy gross state knowing guests were using them. Than there was broken glass and we didn't see it until one of our kids was running around and stepped on it and got cut. We went down later and who ever cleaned the glass only cleaned half. There was still a ton of glass under the chair. Our hotel room had dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we checked in as well.

Hyatt House was exceptional in their service and with their staff. So many smiling faces, staff willing to offer assistance with so much without even having to be asked, and an amazing gentleman who entertained kids at breakfast with magic tricks and balloon animals! Our stay was blissful the week we spent here.

My overall day was just OK. Previous days have been better. The staff seemed to be really confused by questions that we asked them. The valets seemed extremely overwhelmed, one night the parking garage door broke, I asked the valet in the front desk. What I should do or where I should park, they shook their head and said they didn’t know, when I press them, they finally told me to park down the street. Would I go back and stay there? I’m not sure.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt. The welcome we had at reception was warm and inviting and we checked into a perfectly clean and well sized room, with a kitchenette that suited our needs just right. We didn’t realise breakfast was included, thank you! Lovely surprise. The lobby area was relaxing and the location was spot on, walking distance to all the main spots in town. If I came back to Portland I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful hotel! Clean and comfortable! It’s conveniently located and also just a short walk to the waterfront. We ran into a little issue with parking, that had nothing to do with the hotel, but the lady at the front desk and the GM went above and beyond to try and help us solve our problem -amazing customer service! I would definitely recommend staying here. I will say the restaurant/bar area has very limited hours, not opening until 3:30pm, which was kind of a bummer, but not a dealbreaker!

I've stayed here 2 times in the last week and both times the front desk staff was very rude. Today check in was about 10pm. The lady acted like i was bothering her. Just no personality and seemed very iriitated. I asked her for a rubber band (which i guess she was nice enough to give it to me) as she flung it to me instead on the counter Again, front desk staff needs to be retrained. Horrible costumer service.

What I appreciated most was the staff. Everyone was friendly, authentically warm and helpful. The only detractor was the breakfast offerings were limited and sometimes not so good. The French toast at times I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Small challenges. The room was well equipped, spacious for a hotel room, not suite, the location was wonderful near really good dining options, the waterfront and the charming garden. It is also right by a street car stop, which led to downtown and other areas of interest.I'd stay there again.

The Hyatt House Hotel is located in a quiet riverfront neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. The hotel staff was friendly, and my room was well-equipped and spacious. The room included a kitchen, a little living room area with a wide-screen TV, and a separate bedroom. The hotel isn't really what I would call "downtown." I was a little disappointed that most of the shopping, restaurants, and tourist attractions were a long walk from the hotel. I ended up having to take several Ubers and public transportation to get to most of the things I wanted to see. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my visit to the beautiful city of Portland. Make sure to visit the Pittock Mansion, the Rose Garden, Washington Park, the Oregon Historical Society Museum, and Mt. Hood. I also must say that I found the people of Portland to be very kind, helpful, and friendly. They made me feel very welcome!

Hotel is at the cleaner, newer, safer part of downtown next to the river. The clean newer part of the river walkway is 50m in front of the hotel. Has the famous Hyatt breakfast included and the hotel has a good range of amenities including expansive workout area, pool, and lobby lounging areas. Room was clean with mini fridge, bed was comfy and room temperature was well managed by working thermostat/AC system.

I loved everything about my stay! My biggest concern was safety in Portland since my friend and I are both female and traveling by ourselves but the neighborhood was super clean and beautiful. The hotel even requires key cards to access the elevators. So really safe. We even used public transportation for our stay. It was super convenient because the metro was right on the corner. Loved our stay at Hyatt House.

Breakfast included is sub-standard for this category of hotel. 7-10am, we arrived at 8:50am and they had already run out of fruit, pastries, and popular tea flavor bags. They could plan better for a weekend. The staff was nice. The room clean yet hard, uncomfortable mattress and down pillows (so bring your own if your neck needs support). The pool was great for the kids. Parking is tricky. The options are valet on-site for an extra $52/night or across-the-street in a separate building garage for $26 but no in/out. Do not count on street parking.

Location was wonderful. The staff was great. I disliked that there was no self parking garage at the hotel. Parking wasn’t cheap. The breakfast was horrible. ai was as disappointed about no hot tub. Staff was great. We really enjoyed our room. Despite the lack of parking, no hot tub and bad breakfast we will definitely stay again. We were quite comfortable! Being that close to the water was great!
