We used three family rooms and had a lovely single night stay in this beautiful well maintained and hospitable hotel. Would thoroughly recommend unless you only want all modern fittings or need a lift which this traditional building cannot offer.

I have booked a weekend away for our nephew as he just completed his exams. Unfortunately I have booked the wrong date, non refundable room, however their manager ( i do apologise, i cannot recall her name ) kindly moved our reservation for the right date, so for that I am really grateful. We had a nice stay, beautiful location, beautiful sea side view, quiet and spacious room, big enough for the 5 of us. The b&b is quite dated in places. The only negative I will have is the fact that we couldn't keep our window open, however that didn't affect our stay at all. Good value for money. I will definitely stay again if we visit the area again.

Mmm. Mixed reviews, this one… Old, was the first impression No inside lock on Room C door (just a Yale) so we put all our belongings in front of the door Room C is big. Beds were comfy. Nice little touch of bathroom things and mints! No air con, but we had a fan and the windows open. (Which made me nervous, as per below points) The room smelled of weed. Yuck. Storage was adequate for 3 of us. Karen and Kimberley were attentive and very professional. Street parking is payable, when available, and there is a disabled parking bay. They accept pets, which helped us. However, reception smelled badly of cat pee. As I say, a mixed bag. I like to support small family places, but it’s a two way street. Note, regarding the area: there are quite a few ‘stray’ people, smoking dubious substances, arguing, drinking and swearing loudly, which was quite intimidating. They were sitting on the front wall and in the hotel garden. That was not nice and certainly left us unsettled to leave the window open The owner spoke to a man and told him to throw his cigarette butts on his land. The man just gave him abuse. We later saw the same ‘stray’ man inside the premises. Was he staff? Sorry, we won’t be back.
