Beautiful iconic hotel in midst of numerous historic sites, restaurants and shops all in walking distance. All of the staff are very attentive and friendly. There is a roof top restaurant with beautiful views. Our room and the entire hotel were very clean. Definitely recommend.

Reservation process was a mess. Due to delayed flight, emailed property. They confirmed When I arrived, was told my reservation canceled due to no show/no call….and they rented the room out last night. Showed them their own correspondence confirming my late arrival and confirming reservation. After the airline delay I just wanted to check in, shower and nap an hour. Instead, I waited and waited ( well over an hour) while they cleaned the room and redid paperwork. BTW: although they cancelled my reservation and rented the room, they still charged me for that night. The breakfast buffet was a huge let down. Over 30 minutes standing in line for an omelette. Skip the buffet, order à la carte unless you are a glutton. Even check out took a very long time. Not worth the money or hassle

Very luxurious, spacious, and beautiful views with easy access to shops, restaurants, and historical sites to visit. Gorgeous (especially the unbelievable stained glass ceiling) and well-maintained. Fresh flowers, good elevators, fancy, and plenty of convenient items in the bathroom just in case. It was literally a sweet surprise to find a plate with gourmet chocolate treats to welcome us with our last name written in chocolate on the plate. We didn't try the food (too expensive). But the canopy bed with curtains was the most charming of all. It helped to have a safe for belongings and plenty of hangers in the closet. The shower was totally impressive and wonderful as well as the unique sinks. Electrically operated blackout shades were helpful, too. Staff was very polite, helpful, and dressed very professionally. I felt so spoiled staying here!
