Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We had a lovely sea view room, very clean and plent of space. Room had coffee and tea making facilities, shower in bath, tv, ironing board and iron and a hairdryer. Also a fridge in the room. We had the breakfast which was of good quality Only issue was parking can be tricky. We fell lucky eventually and got a spot within a hundred yards of the hotel on the street, but spaces nearby are few and far between. All in all an enjoyable stay and would use this hotel again if staying in Llandudno. Great spot for the pier, prom and Mostyn Street for pubs and restaurants.

Nice little boutique hotel in an ideal location on the end of the promenade. Shared areas are a little tired - worn, marked carpets, etc but our bedroom which was at the back was ideal. Nice veranda at the front of the hotel to have a tipple and watch the world go by. Receptionist was very friendly and gave us a recommendation for food which was great

Excellent hotel. Ttey have thought of everything. Lovely terraced bar. Room very nice with coffee machine. Even had a bag of 2ps that we spent in the arcades. Parking is a nightmare but thats nothing to do with the hitel that is Llandudno in the summer. Deffo be back and hopefully very soon.

We really enjoyed our stay, from booking to checkout the staff were attentive and helpful. I phoned to request a walk in shower for my elderly nan in 1 room and they sorted it straight away, also making sure we were in rooms next to each other. The bar was lovely, breakfast even better and the rooms had everything you could ask for, nothing had been left out with a lovely view on top. It was walkable to everything and we had a lovely stay. Only tiny downside is no parking, but that's what old character towns are like, and it was easy enough finding something just down the road. Would definitely stay again if ever returning to Llandudno! You won't regret booking here. Thank you!

The Belmont is a really nice hotel - great location near the seafront makes this an absolutely ideal hotel. There is no parking attached to the hotel but there are plenty of options around the area.

I highly recommend the Belmont Hotel. We had a wonderful two-night stay in a sea-view, dog-friendly room. If you are a dog owner they look after your four-legged friend with a blanket, bowls, and useful info like walks and dog-friendly restaurants/ cafes. Plus there is a dog friendly dining area for breakfast. For humans - the rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of exceptional quality with plenty of choice. Great location and lovely friendly staff. Overall we were really impressed - highly recommended!

Loved the look and feel of the hotel, staff are superb, especially Chris & Hayley, very helpful and friendly. It is the only hotel near the Pier with wheelchair access ramp. Our room (306) was lovely, if a bit small. Beds lovely and comfortable, new decor is on trend. Loved the breakfast, good choices and beautiful presentation in lovely room. Pity they don't do dinner menu. Didn't like the dirty window sills in our room or the ragged, 6 inch gap under the wet room door ( why could not be finished off with a nice neat trim to match the door ? ) Could not understand why the room door was standard and the wet room door was much wider ( we did not try to get the wheelchair into the room but there would be no room to turn around once in there, room too small to store one). Would like parking to be sorted for Disabled Blue Badge holders nearer to the hotel entrance, only place you can park during our stay was up past The Grand hotel. Overall a lovely stay, the staff there definitely make the atmosphere to our stay a bonus, we are planning to return again in the Autumn and would recommend The Belmont to family and friends.

I booked this trip for my elderly parents who unfortunately only stayed for one of their two nights we booked for them. We were aware that the hotel was 'dog friendly' however their bedroom smelt like a dog kennel and they felt that it was more suited for the dogs than people. The housekeeper cleaned their carpet in their room after they complained about the smell but actually this just made it smell worse. The carpet was soaking wet after they'd cleaned it and they felt really uncomfortable about complaining but the response from the hotel was 'it says we're dog friendly on the website'. They couldn't open the window very far to let some fresh air in, which is understandable on a first floor room but couldn't sleep as the smell was so bad and made worse by the overpowering smell of carpet cleaner on their second day. They left without staying for their second night as they just couldn't relax. If you don't have a dog then I wouldn't recommend staying here as I think it should be made more clear on the website that their description of dog friendly' should be changed to 'dog hotel' .

The hotel itself was well decorated and modern. The staff were very friendly. When we dropped our bags we noticed a fusty smell so we opened the windows (which were cracked but I overlooked it for the price) and sprayed some body spray thinking it may have been a previous dog guest. We got back to the room for the evening and put our little boy straight in bed as he was shattered so went straight to sleep. After we'd spent a little more time in the room we noticed that there had obviously been a recent leak that the owners had attempted to paint over. The wall was damp to touch and had large stains and the smell became stronger and stronger with the windows closed. I was very close to asking for a room swap but didn't want to disturb my son so left it. The next morning we had tight chests so checked out pretty much straight away as we couldn't stand to stay in the room any longer. I mentioned it to staff at check out who just said they would take a look. I would have preferred a little more of an apology but hey ho. I think next time we'll have a look for another place to stay just to avoid a repeat of this occasion. It's a shame as overall it's a lovely place.

The hotel was clean and comfortable in a great location right opposite the pier. I stayed in a single room which was at the back with a view of the Great Orme. The room was quite small, but it had everything you could possibly need, slippers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, iron and ironing board, a fan, etc, etc. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, and all staff were friendly. The room had an en-suite bathroom with a bath and toiletries, which were nice quality, but personally I didn’t like the smell. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back.

As ever a pleasure to stay at the very well located Belmont hotel. The hotel staff are warm and welcoming and go above and beyond to give great service. The rooms are clean and have great facilities. Criticism would be thin walls so hearing tv until late. Carpets are a little tired. Cleaning staff a tad noisy quite early in the morning. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend.

The hotel is lovely and modern. I chose this hotel because there is a sloped entrance and a lift as I have difficulty walking. The room was quite large and really clean. The weather was lovely when we visited and there was a fridge and a fan in the room which were a godsend. Very helpful and friendly staff. The cooked breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of continental breakfast choices. Will visit again.

Our stay here was amazing. the staff that greeted us on our arrival were so friendly and welcoming, sorry I didn’t get the ladies names. We chose a room with a balcony and we spent a lot of time out there. The extra touches of ear plugs, eye masks , dressing gown and slippers were wonderful. It even had a mini fridge in there, with amazing views we couldn’t have asked for more and cannot wait to go back

Overall we were satisfied with the hotel in general but the room left much to be desired. The only window was in a corner and half obscured by the angle of the bathroom wall, the sash was limited to a height of about 3 inches. Consequently air flow and natural light were impeded.

Lovely view over the bay from our decent sized room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order after a self service drinks and continental starter. All the staff were very friendly, nothing to much trouble for them.

I hate leaving a terrible review. This is someone’s business and it is a place of work. But this was a completely unacceptable experience. I stay in many hotels for work and pleasure each year (lucky me) and I’d like to think I’m flexible and reasonable and don’t expect the sun, moon and stars. But I do expect a room with air I can breathe. Yes, the hotel was clean, yes, reception was efficient, and yes, the bed was comfortable and the room well stocked. But despite being in a ‘superior’ room it was the single worst hotel experience I have had in twenty years. It was only 15 or 16 degrees outside, yet our on the top floor was an oven. The window opened only two inches and the thermostat told me it was 30 degrees. There was a fan provided - but sleeping with a booming fan might make sense in Singapore, but not in Wales. Eventually sleep happening around 5am but it was fitful. The room we were in is simply not fit for use. And yes, I asked for a change around 1am and none was available - and I would happily have walked a long distance to stay somewhere else, but by then I couldn’t book a new room online. The reviews suggest that there may be many nice rooms in the hotel but not all - plus Hotels.com inaccurately list this as a 4* when in fact it is a 3*. Deeply annoyed by a stressful night. Avoid.

The reviews suggest that there may be many nice rooms in the hotel but not all - plus Hotels.com inaccurately list this as a 4* when in fact it is a 3*. Deeply annoyed by a stressful night. Avoid.

Location is great, right by the beach and easy access to the Pier. Room was clean and spacious. No parking is a bit of a problem. We went a random Saturday in May and found there was no parking in walking distance a couple of times. Temperature of the room is too warm, 23.5 degrees while we were there and no way to change it. Walls are very thin so not suitable for light sleepers.

Good quality, boutique-sized property in the west-end of Llandudno sea front. Lovely touches like binoculars in sea view rooms, ear plugs and eye masks if you’re a light sleeper - and let’s be honest, no hotel is ever silent! Breakfast was the biggest tick; excellent on the nutrition front with seeds, fresh berries etc to sprinkle, sourdough toast with avocado, welcomed alternatives to the full English (the portions are large). Tastefully designed and friendly team. Only question mark is whether fresh milk and chilled bottled water (hurrah, no plastic) are worth the noise the mini fridge makes? And OK, somethings aren’t perfect but hey you’re staying in an old Victorian renovation; use a Travelodge if new, straight, identical looks are your thing. Would stay again (and I am quite particular!)

The Belmont is central to the town and pier. The staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast's were amazing with a good choice. Definitely stay again. Already done 2 visits before and keep going back.

The staff at this hotel are so so good they are do friendly and helpful always ready to.help Chris the manager and his team are just fab. The breakfast is gorgeous all fresh and always hot, the starter cold food is excellent there is eide selection of fruit, cold meats, local cheese and pastries, selections of ams, honey, selection of 3 juices and flavoured teas and cereals there really is a great selection to choose from. The beds are comfortable and rooms are lovely, spacious, has iron and board, hairdryer a selection of coffee tea, a fridge with milk, and a can of water and sparkling water. Everything is great about this hotel we have been going 3or4 times a year for anoit 8 yesrs.

My first time staying at The Belmont, I will definitely be returning in the future! I was at the end of a solo trip so booked a single room for a few nights. Room was compact, clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The best part of this hotel is the staff, absolutely all of them are wonderful. The hotel itself is situated at the north end of llandudno, and it is much quieter here than other places I’ve stayed in the town. The outside area is also a delightful place to grab a drink in the sun. Breakfast options are also plentiful, and all of the cooked options I tried were very nice and freshly made. This property had so many thoughtful touches Ample drinks, tea, coffee, take away cup to bring a drink with you. I have eaten all over the world I was in a rush and coukd not gorge myself on yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries but the cooked breakfast was sublime. Everything cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our stay, from booking to checkout the staff were attentive and helpful. I phoned to request a walk in shower for my elderly nan in 1 room and they sorted it straight away, also making sure we were in rooms next to each other. The bar was lovely, breakfast even better and the rooms had everything you could ask for, nothing had been left out with a lovely view on top. It was walkable to everything and we had a lovely stay. Only tiny downside is no parking, but that's what old character towns are like, and it was easy enough finding something just down the road. Would definitely stay again if ever returning to Llandudno! You won't regret booking here. Thank you!

Nice little boutique hotel in an ideal location on the end of the promenade. Shared areas are a little tired - worn, marked carpets, etc but our bedroom which was at the back was ideal. Great location! Located right across the street from the pier. You can sit and have a few drinks on the patio and have the most beautiful view of the beach and pier. The hotel is decorated very nicely, and the staff all seem very friendly. In particular, a lady named Jennifer, who checked me in and gave me some great tips on where to go for good music and good food. She also helped me with direction on writing the tram. And then in the morning, she asked me how my day went the previous day. I would definitely stay there again. Just a bit of a warning though I booked the single room and it was pretty small. It’s actually perfect if you don’t have a lot of luggage, but in my case I had two suitcases so I actually had to store my suitcases in the bathroom, which is very roomy.

We stsy in the rooms with sea views and wow luckily the hotel is in an ideal location for the Pier, buses and tram stops are a very short walk and the stunning views you see from your window from sunrise to sunset always beautiful sights. Room had coffee and tea making facilities, shower in bath, tv, ironing board and iron and a hairdryer. Also a fridge in the room. We had the breakfast which was of good quality Only issue was parking can be tricky. We fell lucky eventually and got a spot within a hundred yards of the hotel on the street, but spaces nearby are few and far between. All in all an enjoyable stay and would use this hotel again if staying in Llandudno. Great spot for the pier, prom and Mostyn Street for pubs and restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in a long time. It was spotless really comfortable we had a massive bed and the view from our window was fantastic. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a fan and binoculars. The bathroom had shower gel,shampoo,conditioner ,soap,hand and body lotion and flannels. They have continental breakfast or freshesly cooked breakfast. The staff Hayley, Callum.and Chris were very friendly and helpful thank you. We can't wait yo ho back.

We were so happy with our stay at the Belmont! Great location, beautiful sea view, lovely little touches in the room such as refigerated water, coffee machine and robes. The breakfast was excellent! A gorgeous variety of cold items such as yogurt, fruit, pastries and a nice selection of hot food to order. Staff were extremely friendly. We would happily return.

This is a great hotel in a fabulous position just off the sea front. The staff were all friendy and extremely helpful. Nice modern decor throughout and some thoughtful little extras like a room fan, eye mask and ear plugs. Housekeeping was good, everything was nice and clean in our room. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice of both gold and hot food. The only thing that has stopped me giving this hotel an excellent rating was the size of our room, which was snug, and a couple if minor maintenance issues. We will definitely stay again, next time I will book earlier and go for one of the larger rooms. A really good find.
