B&B A Durmì

This place was awesome and very historic with a modern vibe (marble floors in entry way)!! The iconic pizza place from the movie Eat, Pray, Love (L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele) is right across the street. Also, This stay is very close to many other restaurants and has a lot of action for “people watching” while on your beautiful balconies. The staff is amazing as well. The room keys were actually skeleton keys so neat. There is security on site as well. I love it here and will stay again!

-EXCELLENT LOCATION -KIND GREETER ON YOUR FIRST DAY -LARGE ROOM COMFY BED It is not necessarily a bed and breakfast (no breakfast served). I wouldn’t say it’s a hostel either (we had a private bathroom). It isn’t a hotel either as there is no real reception. This is basically a floor of rooms that is being rented out to guests in a much larger (historic) building. If you are good with that then this is the place for you!

Perfect location, had an elevator and women who check us in was excellent! We stayed one night as part of trip and it was perfect!

The “hotel” does not look like the pictures represented and it feels more like a hostel than a hotel to be honest. One positive was we got an early check in and the receptionist was friendly. The building however was dark and felt dirty. The room was ok at first glance, but the bed was uncomfortable and the shower had a wet towel in it when we got there that the receptionist just took away when he showed us the room. The hanger for the towel kept falling off as it was not attached properly. The knob to adjust the strength of the water in the shower came off and the room had no safe. We’re glad we only had one night here before going home. Was surprised as it had good reviews upon booking and we really didn’t have high expectations as it was only one night before going home. Would not recommend.

we has three days and three nights at Durmi and had a very good time with the friendly staff, the quiet room, excellent espresso (free) and the possibility to use kitchen, fridge and cafeteria. the little balcony is lovely

It was conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport, taxi stand right outside, a few minutes walk to the subway, and close to some of the sites we wanted to explore. The hotel is on the second floor between two bustling cafes. A building manager is there during working hours, but key entry to the building after hours. There is no front desk staff, so must arrange for check in ahead of time for staff to meet you there.

Rent och fräscht rum, bra AC, nära både tågstationen och hamnen. Det fanns ett gemensamt kök och matsal med tvättmaskin, kylskåp, kaffemaskin och mikrougn. Nära barer, restauranger och en fantastisk glassbar.

Room is basic, there’s no fridge or water to drink. Service is nice and the area is next to that famous pizzeria. Don’t think the price justifies the accommodation.

Thank goodness we only stayed one night. On a positive note, the room was close to public transportation, was located across the street from a famous pizza place, and the host reached out to us prior to our visit to coordinate our stay. That's where our good experience ends. One of the reasons we chose this place was because of the outdoor seating on a private balcony. We arrived only to find the building wrapped in scaffolding which blocked the balcony and construction debris was everywhere. Outside the building we found cockroaches scampering from the building. That convenient location I mentioned also included quick access to the red light district where hookers were offering their services and another nearby road where even my husband said he wouldnt enter. Bums, drug dealers, drunks, and police officers were everywhere. Very sketchy. The host was no where to be found after check in. There was no air conditioning. There was no breakfast either because of Covid, a practice which the rest of the city and world for that matter seems to have figured it out at this point. The transfer the hotel coordinated for us from the train station cost us 25 euro to go about 1 mile. As a host, they have a responsibility to protect their guests from rip offs. Needless to say, we wouldnt stay there again. The best part of the stay was the fast drying blow dryer.

Duş tutma yeri tutmamizla elimizde kaldı. Lavobadaki çeşme arızalı ve Fıskiye seklinde heryeri ıslatıyordu. Bir otel oldugunu kapıdan anlamanız mümkün değil. Tabela yok. Akşam 20.00 den sonra giriş yapmak problem. Resepsiyon yok. Geç giriş yapmak isterseniz ekstra ucrete tabi... Vs. Memnun kalmadık.

Værelset simpelt men ok og med en lille fin balkon med et lillebord & 2 stole, dog var der en frygteligt kloark lugt/gener på toilettet. Placering lidt utrygt i larmen fra gaden og tilsyneladende et område som ikke var helt ufarligt at gå rundt i om aftenen, hvilket udlejer gjorde os opmærksom på.

A lovely property right in the centre of Naples. A huge, thick door at street level makes you feel safe. There was another huge door to the property on the second floor for added safety (I did trap my finger in this as it was so heavy - my stupid fault and not the property’s). The room was extremely clean and well-maintained. Laundry was done on day three of our four night stay. A friendly and welcoming member of staff greeted us and showed us to our room. We saw someone there periodically throughout our stay, but wouldn’t know how or who to get in touch with if a problem arose? The bathroom door is a sliding one, but one of us got locked in the bathroom! We think the lock is becoming loose, and got stuck in the locked position (easy fix). There was only enough hot water for one person, although two with short showers at a push. Not a major problem. Overall, everything we needed was in the room. It was well situated, clean, easy to check in/out and I’d stay here again.

Extremely dirty property, dimly lit, in a very dirty area of town. There was trash everywhere. Dead rats. Inside the room was a huge dead cockroach. No soap for the shower.

Siamo arrivati nel posto, l'accoglienza è andata bene, ci hanno mostrato la camera e le varie stanze ad uso collettivo, siamo rimasti male dalla pulizia e la manutenzione della stanza, nel complesso il soggiorno non è stato male

We booked this apartment for one night as had been staying in sorrento and our flight was next day from naples airport. Very clean comfortable and great location for shops and restaurants. The owners kept in touch and were there to greet us at apartment. They also organised our taxi to the airport. The apartment was very clean and had a lovely bathroom with walk in shower.

The room is clean. The toilet seat was broken the entire time but never fixed it! The room is a little loud from the outside noise. Pizzeria da Michele is just right down the street from the place where we are staying. Shops ans restaurants are all walking distance

The location was excellent, close to the historic part of Napoli and the train station. You can walk anywhere around the city centre! The staff were excellent, we had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased

Läget var fantastiskt i Gamla stan, med balkong mot gatan där man sålde galet mycket pizza. Kanske äldsta pixxerian i Neapel, år 1870.

They had advertised that there was air conditioning but failed to inform us that it is not active all year. As a result, we had to open the windows in the evening which allowed mosquitos/bugs to come in the room and it was also very noisy which made it difficult to sleep

Otroligt läge, jättefräsch och trevligt bemötande. Vi bokade rummet med balkong som var riktigt trevlig att sitta på och titta ut över torget.

Our stay at A Durmi was terrific. The staff were patient and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again, great location close to the train station and some amazing food and neighbourhoods!!

We stayed a night while travelling from Rome to the Amalfi Coast. Check in was a bit confusing, but we did get a room upgrade as the shower in ours was broken. Bed was comfortable and it had the famous pizza place right across the road which was a plus.

Vi var här i sex dagar och trivdes jättebra. Nära till allt. Perfekt läge nära till allt.

Super séjour, hôte très agréable et à l'écoute, emplacement idéal, près du métro et de la gare centrale, rue animée avec plusieurs restaurants napolitains. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse, je recommande et reviendrai avec plaisir.

Nice stop at Napoli. Very good location for onward train journey to the coast and Napoli city break.

The accommodations were great. The staff was very friendly. The location is in the middle of everything. Several dining options close by. The room was very clean and the staff was attentive.

It was a great stay right in the heart of Napoli. We went just downstairs for gelato & the best pizza. Francesco was so welcoming and told us everything we must see in Naples. Thanks for a great stay!
