Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wisconsin Dells

Staff were friendly but not super welcoming or interactive. Rooms were clean but had a bit of a sewer smell. Pool was nice. Breakfast was your standard continental breakfast.

Only stayed one night. Everything was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was big and nice. Free breakfast was your typical free breakfast

I only stayed at this hotel for 1 night & I don’t think I will be going back… The person who checked me in was kind of cold & dismissive. Then I got into my room and it was a nice enough room but it was not very clean. There were hairs on the pillow cases & in the bathroom. Also there were condensation circles on the desk & night stands. I was unsure of what caused those circles so I washed the countertops. I do not feel that the room was checked over! The shelf with the pictures above the desk appeared like it had never been dusted… Within 10 minutes of getting into my room the fire alarm went off! It went off for about 10 seconds or so, then stopped. I called the front desk and was told that everything is ok but I feel like the front desk person should have notified the guests that they were having a test or an issue or something!! I do not feel like I should have had to call the front desk about it - I doubt they had many guests on a Sunday night…! I left to get something to eat & when I got back it happened again. I called the front desk again & was informed it was something they called the maintenance supervisor about. The following morning when I was checking out the front desk representative was so lovely! She was kind and smiley and helpful!

Nice and clean. No complaints. Breakfast was good.
