I really like the premade bags of ice for your room, and the butlers pantry for room service delivery so you don't have to open your door. The complimentary water and snacks are a bonus too! Friendly staff. I'll be back!

We stayed at the 500 for my birthday. It was Amazing!!! Great service, Beautiful room. Everything from the valet parking to the complimentary glass of wine walking in the door really just made me feel like i was special. One thing to keep in mind the valet parking is a charge of 30 dollars for protected overnight parking. I really didn't pay attention to that checking in, but it was totally worth it.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location to walk to places in downtown. Easy access from the highway to the hotel as well. Valet only parking was very convenient as there is not much parking nearby (that I saw). Restaurant was not open yet, but we enjoyed a few items from room service. Interesting room service delivery through a dumb waiter. Made it all easy. Good space in the room with a table for eating, a small bar area with a fridge, seating by the window. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and fun decor. Snacks available included in the room cost at the front desk. Very kind and helpful staff. The hotel is a bit pricey, but worth the cost for what we got.

This hotel has thought of everything. From the welcoming glass of wine to a fully stocked snack bar and wine and soda fridge, all complimentary for guests! They shuttle you around to the closer attractions and their brand new restaurant had the best black cod I’ve tasted in ages. Our drive to the airport was in a Mercedes sedan! They even have a no contact butler’s pantry for room service. The room had complete bar setup and even had a corkscrew, something we usually forget to pack. We also had our own balcony with table and chairs and enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the world go by. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and gave me a some great suggestions for breweries and places to go. If we ever go back to Boise this is our first choice to stay!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Inn at 500 Capitol. Upon check in we were offered complimentary beer and wine. There was water, soft drinks and snacks available at no charge in the lobby. We could walk everywhere we needed to go, so close to everything downtown. And our room was very nice sized, with a window seat to look out at the town. We would stay here again!

The location is perfect, and the inn itself is very clean and welcoming. My only concern is that our room was not refreshed after our first night. There were no instructions on how to request this service. We called the desk and requested clean towels, and they arrived promptly. It would have been nice to have had this done while we were out.

I have stayed at The Inn at 500 many times and have always had a great positive experience. When we entered our room after checking in we noticed that the wet bar area had not been cleaned or it had been used after our room was cleaned. Bottled water was opened, coffee in cups, garbage on wet bar and in trash can. There was a sweater hanging in the closet. The rest of the room seemed pretty clean. The front desk agent on duty offered to move us to another room but we declined because we had a really great view so we just tidied up that area and proceeded forward with our stay. After returning from dinner and preparing for bed, the thermostat was stuck on 80 and we couldn't get it to move off of that setting and to cool in the room. Needless to say it made it difficult to get a good nights sleep with the stuffy conditions and it forced us to check out 2 hours early in the morning. Also noticed in the morning that one of the beds white sheets had many stains on them. Ugh. Not that they were dirty, but old stained sheets that should have been thrown out and not used again in a guest room in a high end hotel! When telling the agent about these issues when checking out he was very lax about the complaint and just said sorry. It was a bit disappointing.

Would give this property 5 stars but didn’t sleep good and that’s the point of a hotel! Super cute hotel but the AC didn’t work right! I just can’t sleep in a hot room! Called them they said they would call back never did! Then the next day told them it wasn’t working they stated it was fixed it was not still hot all night! Should have stayed at another property because there is plenty down there! I would not stay there again I think the AC units are the same in each room! Not sure if they just control it themselves and don’t let you go below 75 degrees but we look forward to having a nice cool room just like we keep our house! Oh and you can hear every footstep of the ppl above you! They were up until midnight and up at 4am walking back and forth tried to call the front no one ever picked up!

Nice hotel, but didn’t get the room I reserved, the bed was uncomfortable, room was hot and if you turned on the A/c you had a bright damn light shining in your eyes. Still not sure what the hell the strobe light was flashing above the bed. And to boot the screaming kid at 11:30pm

Truly enjoyed every second of this hotel. I will be back to stay. It’s perfectly located and easily accessible to downtown. We walked to Albertsons Stadium. It was really great. Complimentary drink upon arrival and free snacks. $30 valet each day is a bit pricy but it is centrally located. No other way to park. The only issue is that I booked a park view and did not get it. Spacious and clean room. The bathroom was my favorite and the balcony.

Property was overall nice…but I wouldn’t rate this 4 stars as there is nothing that extravagant about it. Bed was okay (seemed worn and sheets were cheap), room is small, nice bathroom. Next to the bed is a thermostat which, when it is on, there is a bright green light on which shines right in your face. This disrupted my sleep pretty badly as I’m used to it being dark during sleep. Definitely was expecting more given the price of the hotel compared to the neighboring ones. I would not stay there again because the additional money is not worth it. Other downtown hotels are cheaper with nicer rooms and beds…without lights shining in your face as well lol. Don't mean to sound uppity on this review, just expect more for the money given the higher price and 4 star rating.

Overall a great start. During booking, I booked a park view room, but given a 3rd floor room by one of the busiest intersections in Boise. Front desk didn’t have ear plugs, but went out to buy some. Comped me Valet parking cost. My wife loved the fireplace in the room, the robes, absolutely loved the cubey hole for room service (don’t need to open the room door to get the delivery). Also ordered out for food & front desk brought the delivery up. Huge kudos to front desk (Josh) for exceptional service. Highly recommend this hotel. Great location for bodo food warehouse, hockey games, etc.

I very much enjoyed my stay @ Inn @ 500. The room was very spacious and I can't say enough GREAT things about the room service cabinet delivery system. I've never seen this type of set-up before and aside from the ease & security aspect of the concept (no need to get dressed to open your door to a delivery person) it's just a well thought out idea that I hope more hotels will incorporate in their properties. I also like having an outdoor space, but IF you book here and you'd like a better view outside your room, make sure and ask for a room on the street side of the hotel (unless you don't want any street noise.) My view overlooked building roofs and a parking lot (along w/ a distant view of a park.) Other than that, it was a most enjoyable experience and IF I ever have to return to BOI again, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you

Our stay was just okay. When we arrived, the front entrance was blocked off, and we could not access the valet, which is the only parking available at the hotel. We had to stop on the street, and my pregnant daughter had to go in and ask for help. When we finally found out what we needed to do to park and get inside to register, I felt we were treated as insignificant and a burden. It looked like they had other events and were not concerned with their incoming hotel guests..

Front desk was a little under stopped to check in, everything else is fantastic until check out. Housekeepers came into the room at 8:34 in the morning without knocking just open the door and burst in. Find that extremely unprofessional and the front desk was not willing to accommodate any sort of reconciliation other than an insincere I'm sorry

The service at the front desk was exceptional here. The free water and snacks were nice amenities. The $30 per day valet charge I thought was fairly high given the location and it would’ve been nice if breakfast was included for the fairly high room rates. Room was very clean but I wish the bathroom had a fan. That said I would consider staying again based on the location and the amazing service. Special shout out to Josh at the front desk who really went out of his way to help us a couple of times.

This was our first stay at The Inn at 500 Capitol and it was truly incredible. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff is incredible and the rooms are beautiful. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and the view was amazing. We will definitely be staying here again and referring this hotel to all of our friends and family.

Hotel itself is great. Service a little wonky. I’d call it limited service. Then today we were already a little nervous to get the shuttle to the airport but they assured the 7am shuttle would get to the airport in plenty of time … until it didn’t. Apparently the valet guy who usually drives the shuttle quit the day before and they didn’t have anyone to drive it. Not normally something you see in a 5-star, premium priced hotel. Again, hotel was great. Operations, not so much.

We had a fabulous stay at the 500! Loved everything about it. Even though the desk/valet was short staffed, they handled all duties with friendliness and efficiency. It was all great, clean, comfortable,very organized. and the staff was excellent, very very friendly and helpful. One night we called for the shuttle to come get us earlier than expected and they were right there for us. This was the best stay we have ever have had. We wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to stay here again. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!!

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Boise. Walking distance to everything downtown including Boise River Greenbelt, Boise State University, Capitol, etc. The bedroom was very large and very nicely appointed - free bottles of water, sodas, snacks and granola bars at the reception were a very nice touch

It was our 2nd time staying here and the best sleep I had on a multi day trip. Everything was clean. The bed linens were soft. The location is fabulous for walking to multiple dining options.

This is a great place to stay if needing to be near downtown Boise. We had issues finding access to the front of the hotel because of recent road construction so it took us several attemps to figure out what to do but once we got in it was another good experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Inn at 500 Capitol. Upon check in we were offered complimentary beer and wine. There was water, soft drinks and snacks available at no charge in the lobby. We could walk everywhere we needed to go, so close to everything downtown. And our room was very nice sized, with a window seat to look out at the town. We would stay here again!

I gave this to my daughter and her husband as a gift. They've stayed here before and loved it. They reported back that this time it's as wonderful as ever. The only criticism they had was the breakfast they ordered for room service. My son-in-law loved his choice, but my daughter, who ordered a breakfast burrito, claimed that the cheese was suspiciously like cheese whizz. Apparently it was described as "government cheese". Surprising since the food came from the new high end restaurant downstairs. Nothing to do with the hotel, however.

Everything was first rate...except: no instructions for the fireplace, Heat/AC in unusual location with no instructions, and a lamp that didn't work. Also, Hemlock is supposed to be a high end restaurant...I walked in for dinner and walked right out...because there was loud rock music playing. Believe it or not, there are folks like me who go to restaurants for dining. If I want music, I go to a show...and never rock music!

This hotel has thought of everything. From the welcoming glass of wine to a fully stocked snack bar and wine and soda fridge, all complimentary for guests! They shuttle you around to the closer attractions and their brand new restaurant had the best black cod I’ve tasted in ages. Our drive to the airport was in a Mercedes sedan! They even have a no contact butler’s pantry for room service. The room had complete bar setup and even had a corkscrew, something we usually forget to pack. We also had our own balcony with table and chairs and enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the world go by. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and gave me a some great suggestions for breweries and places to go. If we ever go back to Boise this is our first choice to stay!!!

The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. While we didn't have the view we reserved, our room was beautiful, clean, and large. It was convenient to have two sinks in the vanity. The shower was awesome. We were pleasantly surprise we had two different balconies. The staff was extremely attentive. We were unaware of the additional charge for parking. Only valet parking is available. The only negative was the in-house food. We had heard Richard's had excellent food and were looking forward to our evening meal. The food was tough, over-cooked, and unseasoned. This meal for two cost $194. We wanted to give the restaurant another try for in-room breakfast. Unfortunately, that confirmed the food is not good. We did an overnight here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was lovely and it was a treat to have our own fireplace. Our dinner at Richard’s was excellent. The staff were kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.
