Stayed 1 night

The hotel itself was nice, clean, up-to-date. Our room was OK, a quarter of the carpet area (which was connected to bathroom area) was soaking wet upon arrival. So much water that four bath towels we put down on the floor were saturated and still didn’t soak it up. We didn’t overfuss, we just asked for more towels from the desk, explained what we encountered and and they quickly said something about how they’ve had problems with the shower……strange. We didn’t have time to overthink it or an option to move rooms so we quick changed and headed off to a wedding. Upon returning back to our room after the wedding, we found even more water puddling up now across a good portion of the bathroom floor, which was super strange because we hadn’t been there all night and we never used the shower or any water before we left. No signs of water by toilet. No clue where all this water is coming from! we ask again for more towels and a non-skid rug to cover this soaking wet carpet area and enterence to bathroom in case we needed to use bathroom at night- we didn’t wanna wade through water or slip and fall if we had to use the toilet. Also, our TV never worked-they didn’t have a good reason for that either, just sorry we’ve had problems lately. Upon leaving in a.m. I asked a partial credit for the stay but the desk said best they could do was Marriott points- which equated to approx a $24value. Gee thanks. I’m ok with rolling with the punches, issues happen - but make it right for the guest.

We booked 2 suites for several days. Pool needs updating and is very hot to sit and watch your kids. One room had a phone not working and clogged sink. It was clean-ish. Sheets were clean, did they vacuum? Toilet seemed clean, mold in shower? Nice breakfast selection and coffee was decent! Overall, would not recommend.

Everything seemed relatively clean and well maintained upon our arrival. Staff was kind and helpful. Parking was easy to access and we never had any issues with that. The location was not the best, to get to st Joseph area you did need to drive through some neighborhoods that made me a bit uneasy, but directly surrounding the hotel was not bad and it was only a 15 minute drive to a nice area. The breakfast was not good at all in my opinion, very limited options of eggs sausage and waffles for hot food. It was a small area so very crowded during peak times. The eggs were watery, sausage was over cooked and the waffles were very salty. We ended up going out for breakfast the second day. The other downfall was we did not receive room service during our stay, although we never indicated we did not want this. We ran out of towels and my husband had to go to the desk to request them. The mini fridge also ran on a 2 hour timer and would auto shut off, this was not convenient.

We had a less than optimal experience at this hotel. Our first room had a nonfunctional air conditioner, which made the room uncomfortable in July. When we called the front desk, we were told the maintenance worker was on call and would be on their way relatively soon. However two hours later, we never heard back from the maintenance person, who ended up not working that day. Because the hotel was sold out, we had to endure the warm room that night. At least it cooled off after the sun set. The next day we changed rooms, but the new room had a broken refrigerator. Fortunately, they were able to replace it, and then the rest of the day was fine. My only other complaint is that we missed an apparently narrow window for room cleaning, and therefore never had our room serviced the entire stay. Overall, I was pretty disappointed. The stay was acceptable and met the need for our vacation, but left a sour taste in our mouth. We will go back to Hilton next time.
