Food was good. Elevator was broken. Room was clean and spacious

The pool and jacuzzi had dirty dust from the wind. The jacuzzi the water was cold and not working. The gym is really good I would add a Matt, a Peloton bike and more machines. The fan in the gym not working or the water bottle filter. The beds and sheets are the best. Excellent breakfast.

I got this hotol specifically for the pool. The pool is not open. No where do they mention the pool has been closed for months.

Everything was great, only stayed for one night but the staff was amazing. I was a little upset that the pool was empty for repainting in the middle of summer. But other than that, it was great.

Elevator out again, pool had no water, laundry want working, rooms not very clean. Very expensive! Paid 489 for two nights. Never again

Good staff I have a bad back and knee not having a working elevator is causing me to rethink future stays as I was told it has been inoperable for at least couple weeks. Trips up and down stairs were excruciating. Not the local staffs issue but Holiday inn shd offer compensation for not letting us know in advance so other arrangements could have been made.

Other than elevator not working everything else was just fine.

pool was closed, drained. Gate in back parking lot was not closing all the way so you could just walk in . Back parking lot was very dirty

The interior of the lobby and the room was very clean. The Hot Tub wasn’t working and the pool was a little dirty. There was not an ice machine accessible to the public. The internet was very weak and faded in and out a lot.

The elevators were out of order. We had to haul our belongings up to the second floor. I’m 72 years old with a heart condition, this was not pleasant. I didn’t understand why I didn’t see anyone there working on the elevators.

Ice not working. Terrible odor in elevator. So-so condition and cleanliness n public areas. Room okay. Staff friendly.

Beds were comfortable, but room was dirty. Spilt dried sugary drink from prior guest was never cleaned, black hair in the sink and toilet didn’t work.

We stayed at holiday inn on our road trips because it is reliable and predictable. This stay however was terrible! We were on the second floor and as soon as elevator door opened there was a strong smell of sewage. I notified the front desk. He came up and agreed he smelled sewage too and said he would febreeze it. Obviously it is an ongoing problem because when I was riding the elevator with another guest staying on the same floor, he noticed the smell the first night and as the hotel filled up the smell worsened according to him. We both noticed the rooms had a barn door which seemed really odd, considering it is one room with 2 queen beds with no sitting area! When I mentioned it to the staff the next morning,both front desk people said it was the first time hearing of the complaint of the sewage/foul odor. This situation has really hurt the reputation of the holiday inns for our family. I get it problems happen, but how you address it defines your chain’s reputation. My concern is the health hazard and safety of your guests. I hope this review alerts the headquarters of Holiday Inn to remedy the problem.

This place was extremely clean. Room was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Great location....right off I-10. Breakfast was good 👍 I would stay here again.

Rooms and property are always super clean and peaceful, Breakfast was very good, Staff is friendly and courteous. For the price Holiday Inn is 2nd to None 👌.

Stayed for 1 hour and left due to the conditions. Multiple dogs barking in the room next door the entire time, room was dirty, with dried rice on the comforter and pillows. Hairs in the bathroom. Such an awful experience both times we stayed. Regret booking out to and from hotels here. Won’t make that mistake again.

Clean, bright, well maintained

Bathroom had an off, musty odor. Water able to seep under tiles near end of shower? Uncomfortable mattress. Not a strip of bacon at the breakfast buffet.

Of course this is right along the freeway. It felt like the freeway actually ran through our room. If you sleep like a rock, no matter the conditions, you’ll be fine. If you do not, it’s going to be tough. I was told all the king bed rooms are the ones facing the freeway. They were unwilling to give us a double bed room without an up charge, which would have been on the backside. There was a smoke detector directly above the bed that strobed a bright flash of light every 30 seconds. With a pill, an eye patch and ear plugs, I was eventually able to fall asleep, however the traffic noise was insane. The windows must have no insulating properties. It was a horrible nights sleep due to these things. The hotel itself is fine. The breakfast was good. The employees were fine. I hope I never have to drive across TX again, but if I do, I will not be staying here.

When we got into the room it was clear that the road nose was going to be a problem. Desk staff were wonderful and gave us a different room, on the back side of the building. Much quieter!

The staff were great, breakfast was great. We got to Van Horn after a long drive, the room was nice but it was too noisy being close to the interstate and the train. We had a hard restless night.

Road and semi noise from room facing I-10 so loud, unable to sleep even with air conditioner running. Even adding white noise from phone was not effective in drowning out the noise. Not beneficial when sleep needed for safe travel.

The staff was friendly. The facility seemed nice. The room was ok. Our only issue was the very loud noise from the interstate. The constant noise from the traffic seemed especially loud since our room was located facing the interstate.

Well designed room; could use a recliner. Nice buffet breakfast included. Street side room had noise from freeway 18 wheelers.

It sits right on the access road so there’s lots of road noise from the interstate. We kept the continuous fan on for “white noise”. Otherwise the hotel looks new, smells wonderful and is clean.

The customer service is great. Always friendly and helpful. I also love the sliding doors in the rooms that cut down on hallway noise.

The check in took 20 minutes.. the staff didn’t appear to know what to do.. one staff member was running back and forth from another building trying to arrange our room.. we requested a ground floor close to the dog area.. we received a 3rd floor room at the opposite end from the pet area.. when we asked for a receipt they said they couldn’t give us one.. we still don’t know the charges..the person in charge said she would add extra expedia points for the inconveniences but have yet to see them..

They need soundproofing. I had a room with a connecting door and I could hear everything in the other room and noise in the hall or other rooms as people were not walking by my door so I’m not sure where it was coming from but there was noise and dogs barking. I did call the front desk and that clerk could not come upstairs unless I could give him a room that was causing the problem and there was no security in the building.

The hotel itself is fine. However, I was locked out of my room in the morning due to the batteries of the doors being uncharged. The employee let me know that this was due to poor planning and this was not the first time this has happened in recent weeks. I was forced to wait over an hour after a series of failed attempts to access my room while the on call maintenance staff arrived. This delayed my travel plans severely and all I received in return was a halfhearted apology. Unfortunately, this subpar service and experience has made me reconsider staying at this location again.

Hotel is nice and breakfast was great. Only reason for less stars is because I reserved a suite and paid extra for it. However, they did not have one available for us and we had to squeeze 5 people in a double queen room.

I booked a room specifically with a king bed, yet at check-in I was informed that none were available. At that hour it was too late to secure another hotel, so I had no choice but to accept a room with two queen beds. This was not the experience I reserved or expected. Breakfast was disappointing. Most items were cold, and the presentation felt neglected. The shared gallon of milk placed in the fridge for all guests to use was particularly surprising and did not reflect the level of care I associate with this brand. The bathroom also showed clear signs of poor upkeep. The shower pressure was extremely low, the soap dispensers were stuck, and even the toilet paper holder had been installed out of alignment. These may seem like small details, but together they suggest that quality control is not being taken seriously. If this were a Motel 6, I would call the stay perfectly adequate. However, this is a Holiday Inn Express charging premium rates. The experience fell well short of the standards the brand promises. There is considerable room for improvement before the hotel can reasonably justify its pricing or its affiliation with the HI Express name.

This hotel was outstanding. It was quiet, we heard absolutely nothing and slept well. The staff was excellent and very friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again. A very positive experience.

Easy on and off I-10

Lots of parking, easy on/off the freeway. Recent construction. Checking in was quick and painless. Free breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. Would recommend it.

The hotel rooms are large and quiet. The hotel is in a convenient location on the freeway but the surrounding area is industrial. Not their fault. It fit our needs perfectly. A safe place on our road trip.

Fine stopover hotel off I10

Property is conveniently located near major highways. Easy access. Recently renovated, clean and quiet with all that you’d expect from holiday inn express. Breakfast options are good and timely. Several dining options within 1-2 miles of facility.

Right off of highway and close to restaurants. Great location.

The hotel was great except for noise from the highway as it was grooved for resurfacing which made the traffic noise quite loud.

Our room was facing the main road so it was pretty noisy . But the location is perfect when you are on the road. Hotel staff very nice and friendly

Staff was great. Breakfast was delicious (though not as hot as I’d typically like, but that’s understandable.) Bed was a bit hard.

Bed was very comfortable. The room is roomy with fridge and microwave. However, in the morning, the shower wouldn’t work. The front desk gave us keys to another room to take a shower…when I got there the water pressure was so low, there was only a trickle of water out of the shower. Also, breakfast was not up to par. Sausage was burned beyond edible.

Loved our stay! Room was spacious and clean. The beds and pillows are amazing, we slept so good! The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. They had great options for every dietary need.
