Nice hotel felt safe, you can practically walk everywhere. Your about 3/4 blocks from Zocalo, you can walk to Palacio Bellas Artes, El Mirador, lots of places to eat. Loved the pool it’s next to the bar. Comfortable beds, slept great.

i called before reservation asking about de pool. They told they have a heated pool. Once in the hotel i wanted to take my daughter to the pool however it was cold

Unique property with a great rooftop area with pool and bar. It was very dark with little lighting at night. The door locks were difficult. One reason I booked here was that they listed that the rooms were soundproofed. They are not. I could hear sounds from the lobby, roof top and street. It's a great location though, walking distance from so many sights.

Nice modern property in the centre which smells super nice wherever you go. Rooftop pool is a bonus but didn't get a chance to use it. The staff were friendly and helpful, however there are no shower facilities available to use once you've checked out. We had to find another hotel to use for the afternoon / evening as our flight wasn't until 10pm

This property is located in a good location if you're looking to explore this area. The hotel has a very moody design which is cool during the daytime, but it's SO dark in the hotel at night. The rooms also don't have windows, which was a big downside for me. The pool is the size of a jacuzzi, but the rooftop terrace is nice.

Design focused hotel in the heart of the old city centre so close to much you will want to see. Quiet at night, rooms comfortable although some with limited outdoor light. Rooftop bar good with a small but nice pool. Staff all friendly and helpful, the manager was great and gave us lots of tips on where to go. Would be nice to have a small fridge in the room but we survived the heat with a cool bag.

PRO: This hotel is a hidden gem in Centro histórico. Its super close to the Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Diego Rivera Mural Museum and many more attractions. The price was reasonable and the room was nice and clean with very comfortable beds. Jessica from reception is a sweetheart. CONS: We couldn't use the pool because they had private events booked. But honestly there is so much to do that it didnt bother us. Reason why i mention the pool is if you are looking for a place with a nice pool this hotel isn't it. Another con are the bathrooms dont have ceiling so no privacy. Overall: Great hotel and a reasonable price!

Extraction was not working in the room, humidity was uncomfortable after shower. A towel was dirty, and a shower rug was wet after they clean our room

The hotel was conveniently located in the historic center of Mexico City but 2 blocks away from the tourist crowds and bustle. Most of the historic sites of the city were an easy walk as were many famous restaurants. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.Our room was large and quiet and housekeeping vry good. We were pleased to be there.

Our stay in hotel city centro was fantastic, the service was excellent. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and kind. Our room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff took good care of us.

The design of this hotel is very nice. The interior rooms are dark. The floors didnt seem swept. There was always hair or dust. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My partner and I stayed here for a week during our trip to Mexico City, and we ended up feeling quite let down by it in a lot of ways. The room itself (standard queen) ended up being smaller than we expected and the mattress was firm to point of us each waking up with back pain each day. It was also clear that the daily room cleaning was basically just making the bed and sweeping, as we had the same sheets the whole time (we could tell because the ones we had from the beginning had a definitive scuff mark on them). Towels would be taken each day but not replaced each day, which led to us either having to ask for them or waiting for someone to knock on the room door at night with them, which was only somewhat inconvenient but unexpected all the same. One last thing about the room is that the wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom doesn't extend to the ceiling, which can be uncomfortable. We didn't end up using the pool because it was a lot smaller in person than the picture led us to believe. And the terrace restaurant, although very beautiful to sit out on, really let us down on the food both times we tried eating something there. Another thing I would mention is that the buildings surround this open section where one can look down to the lobby. Its very pretty, but the safety railing is noticeably lower than what feels (to me) to be actually safe, so that was another strange detail. The staff were great, the building is beautiful, the area is very busy.

The building is old but well-maintained. Rooms and installations are generally clean. Good customer service. It is also well located close to the Zocalo and many stores and restaurants in Centro Historico.

Restaurant food super expensive for poorly cooked bacon. If one wants more coffee they charge for each small cup, instead of refilling. Door locks difficult to open or close.

Great location, good service, nice cozy atmosphere, had an awesome view of the Torre Latinoamericana from our room. Cleaning seems basic to say the least, I don’t think our bedding was replaced, the bed was just fixed, every day, I finished the box of kleenex the first day and it was never replaced, the lighting in the room was too low. In general it was a good stay.

The staff was excellent and helpful. The room was very nice, I had a king. They first put me in to a queen room but it was very small and had no window so it felt like a closet. The staff very graciously moved me to a roomier accommodation. It is a very easy walk to many sights such as the art museum and Juarez sreet.

Upon check in at night, it was completely dark due to their eco-friendliness. It was kinda creepy. The door locks on the room are ridiculous to open and close; They’re not simple. The small closet in the room was ridiculous. The bathroom walls did not go all the way up to the ceiling, no privacy. The lighting in the room was not that great. My friend and I got food poisoning from the restaurant. I would not stay here again.

Pretty hotel. Our room did not have windows AT ALL. Door was overly complicated to open and lock which made us always think there’s a chance it could be unlocked while we were out. No ceiling on bathroom so everyone in the room could hear/smell…

Had a nice stay here for a wedding in CDMX. A friend and I split a room with two queen beds - mattresses were on the former side but still comfortable. A few flags that might sway future visitors to other hotels: 1) the bathroom area is *not* separated from the bedroom; there is a door but there is no ceiling to the bathroom so sounds, steam, and another word that starts with S carries into the main area. We confirmed with other guests at the hotel that this was the situation in their rooms as well so if bathroom privacy is a top priority for you, I'd look elsewhere. We ended up just using the lobby bathroom when necessary. 2) the air conditioner - it worked but never achieved the temperature that we set. The steam from the shower (see number 1 above) rises into the bedroom and the AC never seemed to catch up. Additionally, the AC had a very bright blue LED light that remained on all night that was not able to be turned off. Not a huge issue but if you need complete darkness and/or colder temperatures to sleep, this might not be the best spot for you. Aside from these issues, it was a pleasant stay. I think they can improve their environmental impact by having a publicly-accessible water filter to refill water bottles.

If you’re interested in a dark atmosphere, tiny rooms with no ventilation or windows, while open to hearing all of the bathroom habits of your partner (weird open bathrooms), not to mention numb and unresponsive service… this is the place for you. Young woman refused to even listen to our concerns. Poor quality hotel with the customer service to match. Shouldn’t be in the service industry. MUCH better hotels in the area, WHICH we’ll fortunately be headed to tomorrow. Normally don’t write negative reviews; not my style… but this place earned it!

Since we booked through Expedia, we did NOT get a decent room. Most importantly we are Gold members of Marriott.. and were not given any privilege for that. The room had coffee machine, but no coffee pods!!!

Horrendous visit. The front desk would not acknowledge us for like 20 minutes when we first arrived. We had to push for them to call additional receptionists to check us in. Then they said the room wasn't ready, and that was another hour and a half wait upstairs on the terrace. But the two comp drinks for being a Hotels.com VIP couldn't make up for the broken AC in the room. It was a furnace the entire night and hotel staff refused to offer a different room. Super glad it was the last night of our trip, so we checked out. Would NEVER recommend. I haven't had an experience that bad.

I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property if they care about their safety and having a secure room. Our stay started off by the front desk bringing us to our room to show us how to open the door. The worker was having trouble opening the room so she obtained assistance form a housekeeper with the master key. When she opened the room, it was an occupied room! Luckily the guests weren’t there. We finally made it to our actual room and settled in. The room was fine. However, on three separate occasions, housekeeping (we presume although we’re not sure) left our room UNLOCKED so when we returned to our room our door was open and anyone could have walked in. We reported the incident each time and each time front desk and security said it would not happen again, but it kept happening. The final incident, they acted indifferent and like it wasn’t a huge deal that our door was left unlocked with all our personal belongings inside of it. They didn’t offer to make it right and even when I asked them to, they said all they could do was say sorry. We also asked them to order us a taxi for an excursion where it was really important for us to be on time. The taxi arrived 15 minutes late and when it finally showed up, it picked up a different couple and the front desk was oblivious about it. Although the hotel is pretty. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone staying in the area. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Book elsewhere if safety is a priority.

The hotel was in a beautifully kept condition, the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous with showing us to our room. They explained our benefits we’d earned with booking this specific hotel and were helpful offering their services 24/7 with whatever needs we had.

It was attractive that it was built in an old building. We had 6 family members traveling to Mexico City for a nice vacation TOGETHER. We booked four rooms so we could be together. When we arrived at the property, we were told they were overbooked and 3 of us had our two rooms (my family) but 3 of us did not (my sister n law’s family). It took an inordinately long amount of time for the front desk to rectify this situation. There was no sense of urgency or even a sense that they were sorry this was happening to us. They did find another hotel for the three of us that were displaced. So we were all split up. It was a very stressful first night on our arrival in Mexico City. My family of 3 had two separate rooms at the city center Marriott hotel. At night the hallways are extremely dark. Too dark, that it feels unsafe and a little creepy to walk to your room in the dark. Friday night some very very strange and suspicious happened. We had just gotten to sleep and we had a persistent knock at our door. The front desk person said their systems notified them that our hot water wasn’t working, which was not true. Then a man & woman from front desk knocked on my 33 year old daughter’s door. She was afraid to open it at 1030 at night especially with the dark hallways. The two people then tried to unlock her door and she was terrified, ran to the door to block them from coming in. They said that their systems notified them that her room was too hot. Which was definitely not true. so

Staff was great! All of them were very friendly. Upon checking in Front Desk walked us up to our room and gave a history of the building, which was pretty cool. Lots of shopping close by and restaurants to choose from.

The staff at the rooftop restaurant were slow and mostly unavailable. It’d take twenty minutes to get a single beer, but the place was empty so I don’t understand the delays. Front desk staff was very nice. Facility is beautiful, but I had high expectations for the rooftop experience - unfortunately the hotel was unable to satisfy my needs. I won’t visit again.

Location is great. So many coffee shops, restaurants, stores nearby. Zocalo a 5 minute walk. Staff is friendly. Very clean and beautiful.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days and feel like we couldn't have made a better desition. Staying at the hictorical center of the city is an incredible experience; on the weekends it's actuve and fun, on the weekdays its quited and intimate. The rooftop is beautiful and the food is amazing. Every person of the staff was pleasant, helpful and resoursful. Thsi is also a very Instagram friendly hotel ;)

The hotel is very smart, so first impressions were good. The room was clean (although our bed sheets were not changed during a 10 day stay) We ate on the terrace one evening, ordering pizza. It arrived still cold (it was clearly just a frozen pizza) When we pointed this out it was microwaved which made it not very nice. The price for a cheap frozen pizza was extortionate. We did not eat there again. Generally the staff were not very friendly or engaging. I tried to pay for my room during my stay and was told to pay at the end of my stay. The payment was then taken from my credit card without authorisation which incurred charges on my card. Overall dissatisfied with our stay. Would not recommend.

The hotel is nice, but it is an American brand with American touches. The entire restaurant and room service menu were American dishes. I don’t even recall seeing a taco on the menu. I stayed in late September and the pool was closed. The hotel itself is fabulous and beautiful. I believe it used to be a bank. The common areas and hallways are dark, vampy, and have glass floors. The rooms on the other hand left more to be desired — goes back to the American touch. The staff were all amazing and accommodating.

El mejor hotel en el centro de CDMX, el ambiente del hotel es muy tranquilo, me gustó mucho la comida en su terraza! De noche su ambientación le da un toque muy particular, totalmente recomendado!!

This was a quaint hotel, super clean rooms and hotel with a lot of charm. The rooftop restaurant was excellent with beautiful city views. The hotel is centrally located to walking distances yo the cathedral, zocalo, and other historical sights. The staff was very pleasant as well.
