Can't beat it for the price point. Convenient to many places to eat and Walmart if you need to pick up some stuff. Slept well in the bed. Pet friendly. Friendly staff and even the other hotel guests were very friendly. Might have been a slow time when we visited but it was surprisingly quiet and couldn't hear anything really from outside of the room. The full fridge was convenient as well. In this price point, you just can't get much (if any) better. Would gladly stay again.

I didn't realize it was outdoor entry only to the room; I prefer locations where hallways and stairwells are inside. It was mostly clean, but there were a few hairs in the tub/shower and at the base of the toilet.

Good stay. Staff at check in desk was efficient and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. It was a little worn in places, but everything worked and met our needs. The tub/ shower was a bit slick due to non-slip surface being worn down. The room was dark at nightbut there was quite a bit of noise from the interstate and the state highway. For a one night stay, we could tolerate it. Other guests were extremely noisy and disruptive much of the night, running back and forth and yelling. The hotel does not have an elevator despite being 2 story. The wooden stairs were very slick due to the frost in the morning. Quite dangerous!!

Room cleanliness was awful. Found dirty panties hanging on the bathroom door knob, something that looked like blood stains on the curtain and the phone. Almost wondering if the sheets had been changed considering what we had found. The bed covers were old and worn…one had been patched up. The bathtub finishing was also patched in 2-4 places. Owners too cheap to replace things properly. The room had smoke smell from cigarettes and all the butts were littered in the parking space closest to the room. We left the next day even though our reservations were for 2 more nights bcs it was so bad. My thought is that since hotels and motels are very limited and the prices are outrageous for what’s normally considered an average hotel that a 1 star hotel can get away with poor quality at a lower price. Most of the stays are related to college activities so it’s a trade off between price and quality/service of the hotel.

we could not stay at this hotel. We walked into the room, there was pubic hair in the bed, there was a huge spider in a big web in the corner. There was debris on the floor that looked like bug carcasses, the bathroom shower curtain was filthy. We walked out and asked for a refund. We did not stay there. The hotel managers, whose shirt was also filthy, told us we had to go back to hotels.com for a refund. I didn’t think of taking photos because we arrived at midnight after a long day of moving my son into his college dorm room and was instead busy finding another hotel we could move to. This was extremely disappointing. You should take this hotel completely off of your list. I forgot to mention that when we were checking in before we even saw our hotel room, another guest came in to tell the front desk he wanted to do sheets because the sheets on his bed had blood stains on them!!! I should’ve walked out right then!!!

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in hands-down. There were limited options available so I selected this for $160 a night. It’s criminal to charge over $60 as terrible as shape as this location is in. The bed is a metal wire frame and least comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. They give you small postage stamp size pillows. The bathroom had mold and mildew all over it and was absolutely disgusting. Room in general was not well maintained or upcast. I will say the bedding was clean that’s about the only positive thing that I can say about this experience. First time staying in a red roof and guarantee it will be my last time.

We stopped for a quick overnight arriving at 8pm. Check-in was quick and easy. Price was reasonable. While rooms small, they were clean, bed was very comfortable and everything worked (AC, frig, shower, toilet. No smell and very quiet. Next door to Olive Garden-good after being in car for 7 hrs.

The rooms could use an upgrade. In an area with lots of hotels, this one definitely is on the low end. Tv was out of focus, soap and shampoo dispensers were stingy and difficult to operate. The cleaning staff was nice and front desk was nice.

The room was very small and not really clean. It wasn't dirty in a trash all over way, it was very tired and worn. Lots of chiped and scratched paint, missing parts of the formica on furniture, scratched and chipped headboard. The pillows were wafer thin and I woke with a backache from the matress both mornings

Poor welcome. Owners could not find our reservation even though they had our confirmation number on file. The didnt apologize and all the owner has said is that they hate working with Expedia. Well we told him if yiu hate Expedia, why do you have your hotel promoted in yhis very professional platform. The room's smell was horrible and the smell of cigarette was in everywhere. So sad!!!

1st room had a horrible smell, and TV didn't work. 2nd room they put me in wasn't cleaned from last guest. 3rd room they put me in smelled worse than the 1st and was infested with flies. I ended up checking out immediately and got a hotel up the street. The gentleman behind the counter was more interested in playing his video game that I was interrupting than helping me. I wish I could give negative 5 stars.

This is an older out of date property. There deemed to be several undesirables living in the motel. A lot of pedestrian and auto in and out traffic. I was honestly afraid to leave my room after dark. Would not recommend.

The property is not bad if you don't care about the other clientele. I was in Lafayette for work; however, there were car coming and going from the room next to me. That was until they saw me park in an unmarked police vehicle. For some reason, they left shortly after and did not come back. There is no breakfast if that is what you are going for all they had was coffee in the lobby, but you have a machine in your rooms. I would stay again if I was by myself, but not with my family.

For $90 a night, this was pretty bad. First of all, there is no breakfast - that is false advertising. They shut it down during Covid and never reopened it. The room smelled like an ash tray, there was peeling paint, and black mold on the ceiling. The A/C unit was beaten up and barely produced any strong cool air (just enough to get me through the night, but not good enough for a serious heat wave). I would say that this is more of a $40 a night hotel and I would not recommend nor plan to return. On the plus side, the gentleman that checked me in was nice.
