The one down side is they put me in the handicap room on the ground floor next to the swimming pool. People were standing outside my window smoking. The loungers were just 3m away and at the same level, so I had to draw my curtains always

Not a fan of the area… very hard to get taxi/ bolt because hotel is on a very tight/ quiet street and most drivers refused / complained. Cleaning service for your room is annoying because you have to ask a lot.. some days they forget so I had to ask multiple times. Brought my dog and this property is exceptional with pets! Very expensive hotel for what it is. Super crowded pool because anyone can go to the pool - don’t have to a guest.

We loved staying at this Super chic and stylish boutique hotel! Our room was so comfortable and clean. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. I have been going to the Hoxton since it opened. Once it was a trendy place to be and the conditions were impeccable. Now for the prices you get a service thatvis comparable to a hostel and the common areas and the rooms are neglected and smelly. Very disappointing

Roomed smells like an ashtray. Loud noise always. Impossible to sleep. Worst soundproofing ever. Staff was rude and looked like you disturbed them. Even asked for an early checkout to get away from the hotel from hell and was told I would be charged for the full stay and never bothered to ask why. Never again.

The room was spacious and well designed, rested in a heritage building. I love Hoxton hotels, but the Paris branch was badly managed. I stayed there for 6 nights. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, surfaces not wiped down. The most upsetting thing was, dirty cups were not taken away and replaced with clean ones. Tea bags, coffee, clean spoons, water and milk were not replenished. I had to call the front desk everyday to have this done, which was a hassle. They don’t have bathrobes or slippers. I ordered a ‘Le Petite Breakfast’ which advertised to have 1 banana, 1 yoghurt and 1 orange juice. I received 1 yoghurt and 2 apples with no notice (I’m allergic to apples), this is just lazy. Overall, I was genuinely disappointed in the hotel.

Our stay at the Hoxton Paris was disappointing. The courtyard and restaurants are certainly a draw, but the room was highly uncomfortable and housekeeping was deeply lacking. We stayed in the largest room type, thinking it would offer the best experience, but this was the worst hotel we've stayed in in years. The bed, which was a king but with queen pillows (so odd) felt old and too broken in, towels were stained, and the room smelled like an ash tray every day. Housekeeping, which is by request only, barely tidies, and didn't even replace essentials (toilet paper, tissue, fresh mugs) -- we had to go down to the front desk every night to ask for these. It was a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. Definitely not worth the price tag.

Great hotel. Room maintenance/cleaning is far from optimal. You have to opt in to get the room refreshed and replenished with water/tea/coffee/ towels/ bin clean and it might only be done at 5.30pm. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Fun vibe in the hotel…doesn’t feel like a hotel but a place for trendy people to come and ‘work’ over coffee. Breakfast staff were great and breakfast menu really good. Had to wait 2 hours post check in for our room to be ready which was frustrating…getting the room serviced and ‘checked’ was the problem. The hotel needs to invest in more staff to service the rooms.

I have experienced a problematic experience during my stay. Basically Paris was around 13 to 22 degrees celcius and the air conditioning was broken during my whole stay, they offered me portable heaters. The phones were out during my stay, they offered to message over whatsup app if I needed any hotel services and so. But it takes to for the to answer. One night I arrived at my room and see that the room cleaning service did not put any hand or floor towels at the room. I messaged them 3 times they did not even return my messages. I tried to call the hotel lobby from outside to check their messages but like I said their phone system is out. They forget to put towels twice!!! They give to bottles of complimentary water, they forget to put that too once. It gave me the feeling that I should check everything when I arrive in my room if anything is forgotten. This is not a comfortable feeling. Plus for the room, its cosy and comfortable, my only concern is that the bath needs space around the sink area to put the personal items. The light lumen is low around the sink area, I have had hard time during my beard shaving. Quite nice location, hotel looks nice. But I would expect much better for the amount I paid for the room.

Great staff, very attentive and responsive to our needs. Great location and amenities! Loved the fact that the included breakfast had gluten free options and a variety of choices. The rooms were on the smaller side and there is not enough clothing/shoe storage but loved the overall vibe of the hotel. The design of the bathroom was flawed with the door swinging outward there was not enough space to fit a bath mat and if you stand too close to the door there is some water leakage to the rest of the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again in a larger suite.

The Hox is located in the hip 2nd arrondissement/Sentier and in close proximity to Montorgueil and Marais. Bonne Nouvelle station adjacent, with easy access to Metro Lines 8/9 to connect you too all points of interest very easily. Hotel staff are helpful, polite, and the downstairs bars were always vibrant and buzzing in the evenings. Rooms are a bit small, but beautiful and cozy. Clothing storage is limited, and while the shower had a door and threshold, it still allowed water to pool outside and in that corner of the bathroom. Minor quibbles for a 5 night stay that was quite enjoyable.

We stay at the hoxton every time we come to Paris due to the spacious rooms and reasonable price. You get more space for your money compared to similar priced boutique hotels. It can be very crowded and noisy on the weekends —lots of locals come and hang out and drink at the bar. If you like to party late at night and don’t mind the noise, it’s great. If you want a quiet hotel, stay somewhere else or maybe don’t book here on a weekend. It’s conveniently located near the metro (Bonne nouvelle and grand boulevard stations) and walking distance to the louvre, seine, and opera. Breakfast can be included with your room and it’s a proper sit-down breakfast, not buffet, which is great. But service is very slow and the food comes out cold every time. I would skip the breakfast and go to a local boulangerie instead. The restaurant is the only thing that didn’t impress me, otherwise it’s a great hotel.

Clearly understaffed - check in was 4 hours late as room not ready. Room not cleaned despite requests, slow service generally (with some exceptions). Stayed in 2020 and the staff were great but definitely a downward shift in service levels between then and 2024.

We stay at the hoxton every time we come to Paris due to the spacious rooms and reasonable price. You get more space for your money compared to similar priced boutique hotels. It can be very crowded and noisy on the weekends —lots of locals come and hang out and drink at the bar. If you like to party late at night and don’t mind the noise, it’s great. If you want a quiet hotel, stay somewhere else or maybe don’t book here on a weekend. It’s conveniently located near the metro (Bonne nouvelle and grand boulevard stations) and walking distance to the louvre, seine, and opera. Breakfast can be included with your room and it’s a proper sit-down breakfast, not buffet, which is great. But service is very slow and the food comes out cold every time. I would skip the breakfast and go to a local boulangerie instead. The restaurant is the only thing that didn’t impress me, otherwise it’s a great hotel.

Great hotel. Room maintenance/cleaning is far from optimal. You have to opt in to get the room refreshed and replenished with water/tea/coffee/ towels/ bin clean and it might only be done at 5.30pm. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Fun vibe in the hotel…doesn’t feel like a hotel but a place for trendy people to come and ‘work’ over coffee. Breakfast staff were great and breakfast menu really good. Had to wait 2 hours post check in for our room to be ready which was frustrating…getting the room serviced and ‘checked’ was the problem. The hotel needs to invest in more staff to service the rooms.

I have experienced a problematic experience during my stay. Basically Paris was around 13 to 22 degrees celcius and the air conditioning was broken during my whole stay, they offered me portable heaters. The phones were out during my stay, they offered to message over whatsup app if I needed any hotel services and so. But it takes to for the to answer. One night I arrived at my room and see that the room cleaning service did not put any hand or floor towels at the room. I messaged them 3 times they did not even return my messages. I tried to call the hotel lobby from outside to check their messages but like I said their phone system is out. They forget to put towels twice!!! They give to bottles of complimentary water, they forget to put that too once. It gave me the feeling that I should check everything when I arrive in my room if anything is forgotten. This is not a comfortable feeling. Plus for the room, its cosy and comfortable, my only concern is that the bath needs space around the sink area to put the personal items. The light lumen is low around the sink area, I have had hard time during my beard shaving. Quite nice location, hotel looks nice. But I would expect much better for the amount I paid for the room.

Not a fan of the area… very hard to get taxi/ bolt because hotel is on a very tight/ quiet street and most drivers refused / complained. Cleaning service for your room is annoying because you have to ask a lot.. some days they forget so I had to ask multiple times. Brought my dog and this property is exceptional with pets! Very expensive hotel for what it is. Super crowded pool because anyone can go to the pool - don’t have to a guest.

I like the younger vibe, particularly the French Open hoopla, of the place. Except for proximity to the Garnier , the location in Paris was not the best. The staff was super helpful and courteous.

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel in toller Lage. Personal freundlich und bemüht. Leider in der Nacht durch Partymusik im Hof sehr sehr laut. Feines Frühstück, Service etwas überfordert. Bedienung dauert sehr lange. Insgesamt aber schöner Aufenthalt in Paris.
