This hotel is not well maintained. It’s very dirty and was disappointing to say the least. The staff didn’t alert their guest to the road being closed next to the hotel and were shocked when told about it. The carpets are so gross and the hard floors in the room was sticky. There was mold in the bathroom and the hand rail was not stable when stepping out of the bathroom tub. The lighting in the room was horrible and the two free standing lamps provided were broken. It was so dim in the room that I could barely see at night. The lamps next to the bed had a constant humming when they were on. There was no convenient place to blow dry your hair. I needed to stand in the hallway in front of the mirror with no light. I will not be recommending or returning to this hotel.

Excellent choice in Edinburgh, right on the Royal Mile and just a few minutes from the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The apartment was comfortable and very well equipped, with a cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and everything else you could need. The breakfast was also plentiful, varied, and of excellent quality. I stayed for a week and would definitely come back again.
