Nice boutique hotel. Had good hot water and good central air. Ice maker only worked on the 9th floor although it was a broken one on every floor. I’ve got no complaints.

Cute hotel. Front desk day and night crew were very nice. We enjoyed our stay. The elevator broke wich made our 2nd night less enjoyable. We had to take the stairs and was on the 7th floor. The bathroom sink didnt work but was ok because the other sink worked. In a very very good location. Walki g distance to restaurants, convention center and riverwalk. Casino real close

The front desk staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was great with a comfortable bed and plenty of room. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bar needs attention. It's rarely open and has no wine opener available for guests. A missed opportunity to generate some income for the hotel. Each room should have a wine opener in it for guests since there is a wet bar and glassware.

First day front desk was having a bad day on check in. Also be prepared to pay for parking even if you are staying at the hotel. Listing says that parking is available but does not say for a $50 fee!!

Hotel was convenient to everything. One issue was the water in the shower would not get hot. We choose valet parking,but at checkout it took over 35 minutes to get the car. Other than that a good hotel.

This was a really nice location just far enough away from the French Quarter that it was sort of quiet. Plus it was a great walking distance to lots of good restaurants. The room was nice, shower was good. They have a beautiful bar in the lobby but it was closed the days we were there due to staffing issues. That was a bit of a bummer. Parking can be a challenge unless you want to valet for $50 a day. We found street parking that you have to keep adding to if you leave your car there. But I can imagine when NOLA is busy street parking would be difficult to find. The included buffet breakfast was surprisingly good. They had decaf coffee in the cool coffee machine the first day but was out the rest of our stay. That was another little bummer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider this location next time.

The hotel itself was really nice! I liked the old, historic feel and it was pretty close to everything! When we arrived our AC barely worked, and even after having maintenance fix it, it still sat at 70. We were given stained towels and no robes. There was makeup stains in the bathroom too.

I wish I would have read the google reviews before staying here or I would have never booked. The hotel was not very clean/well kept. It was obvious my rug had not been fully vacuumed, the toilette was not clean, and my room was not ready at the 3pm time of check in. The cold sink faucet handle in the bathroom was completely broken and did not work so I only had the option to use scolding hot water when brushing my teeth, washing my face, etc. I did not ask for a different room because the staff was not helpful or friendly upon my arrival and I figured it would be useless. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend.

The room was extremely dusty I coughed most of the night. If you looked at the light you could see the dust particles flying around. The AC needs to be replaced it took forever to cool the room. The corners of the shower are not being properly cleaned. Some of the staff members were not welcoming. What I did enjoy about the room was the size of the room. I never heard anyone unless I was in the hallway. The lighting in the restroom was perfect. Had the room not been dusty and the a/c cooled the room faster this hotel would be top of my list for New Orleans. Lastly the walk was a full 20 minutes to the French Quarter so we had to Uber quite a bit.

The room looked pretty nice upon arrival, but as time passed, the problems started to surface. There were piles of dust around the corner. The bath tub was super clogged and it filled up quickly after only a minute. There were only two bath towels for a reservation of four people with the edges of the towel shedding off. Someone was smoking in the elevator area which filled our room with very uncomfortable smells. Not recommend, especially if you are traveling with children.

There were clear opportunities with cleanliness. The pillows were stained, there were holes in the curtains and the windows were covered with algae which made it hard to see the view. The bathroom was very clean.

The rooms were super comfy, with the added touch of the record player and records. Housekeeping in the hotel was lacking somewhat, like the shower in our room could have used a good bleach soak..the halls needed vaccuming.. but otherwise fairly clean.

Rooms were spacious and stylish, but generally dirty (in desperate need of a deep clean). The bathroom and common-area hallways were especially grimy. The only window in my room looked out on a brick wall three to four feet away. Customer service was fine. The location and price were good in comparison to other options, but you get what you pay for. I would not plan to stay at this property again.

I enjoyed our stay but the hotel seemed to Need some upkeep. The room was dusty and floors were dirty. I notice all this stuff because I have little ones and I always check floors make sure there’s nothing they can pick up & I clean/dust when we first arrive.

Loved this little hotel, so much character and ambiance. Within walking distance of everything! The only complaints was the door to our room would not shut properly and we could hear the elevator through the wall in our bedroom at night it kept me up. However a room away from the elevators wouldn’t have this issue. Breakfast had all the essentials. Staff was very friendly and the kept our bags for us before and after our stay so we could do more sightseeing.

Location was decent as well as the value. But room was not well maintained. Curtains were ripped so you couldn’t fully privatize and there were apartments across. Also a loose tile in the shower, which is a hazard. Parking at $51 a night is crazy. There is a convenient lot a block away for $25.

My room had the bedroom door missing. TV in the living room didn’t work and when I showered the water cut completely off while showering and when it came back on the pressure was extremely low. My room number was 846.

The first night my air didn’t work in our room it wasn’t until the next day that we were moved . But they did upgrade. Plus if you don’t reset an executive suite you will be looking at nothing but brick walls. Don’t believe the pics you see on line

Stayed here prior to Labor Day. I enjoyed walking about, sight-seeing, and dining out. The room had a separate living area complete with a turntable and records. There was a little bar complete with microwave and mini-fridge. Also a bar sink that came in handy. The bedroom was so quiet at night. There wasn't a view but the quiet was so nice and the bed so comfy. The front desk was so helpful.I would stay here again.

I had a single room on the 2nd floor. The room has great except that the shower water was not hot. Each time I took a shower. The water was lukewarm or cold. Other than that, I think the hotel is great! The room and property was clean. The room comes with a fridge and I think a microwave. There was also a sink, in the living room/ entrance way, as soon as you walk in your room. Walking distance(2 1/2) blocks from the convention center, and Starbucks and maybe 3-4 blocks from the outlet mall which is right by the river. I did walk from the hotel to the start of french quarter (10min/15min walk). It’s do able. Overall I would book this hotel again

This is nice property very walkable to the things you want to do in the CBD and French Quarter. However, the real star is their service. Every person I dealt with at this hotel went above and beyond to give great service. Desk people, breakfast servers, even the general manager. Honestly the best service I have gotten in a long time. I can’t recommend it enough.

At the entry time the front desk staff was rude and not cooperative. We just checked in to put luggage and left immediately to see around. When we came back at 8 PM, I asked the same staff that the room heater was not working and the room was too cold. She literally didn’t pay any attention. Also, she refused to provide extra blanket. At 11 PM, I came back to front desk as the room was too cold. The attendance at that time offered us to shift to new room but it was a hassle at night. She provided extra blanket. This incident could be solved immediately as I reported earlier. This property will charge 48 dollar to provide parking. Otherwise, you have to find our roadside parking on your own. Their breakfast was outstanding at the property.

The hotel is great! The staff not so much! I was there in mid-week where the hotel is almost unoccupied and empty, my flight was at 6 PM so I requested a late checkout at 2 PM and after a very long exhaustive argument they only allowed me to stay till 1 PM. Same thing happened to me a lot of times before and usually I get 2-4 PM not earlier specially of its a slow time!

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem. Very close to the Convention Center, Riverwalk Shops, French Quarter and the Superdome. Leisurely walk to everything. Clean rooms, nice breakfast and very pleasant staff!

It was for a conference. It's 1.5 blocks from the entrance to the conference center or the cruise ship dock. A bit of a walk to the Quarter but a couple decent local bars and food places nearby.

The check in process was smooth and fast. The room was clean. My only issue was that we entered the breakfast area at 646a. At 651a, Berry (the cook) came out and hold us that we had to leave immediately because breakfast didnt start until 7a. Which I thought was crazy since we had already served ourselves and 7a was just 9mins away at that point.

Way above and beyond service, price, location. The location has a continental breakfast listed but it's really more than that: real scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, variety of breads, yogurt, fruit, andvreal OJ: not that fake crap a lot of hotels serve. Wonderful/personable service

I honestly loved this place, with the exception that the free breakfast was mediocre at best - the first day we stayed, the eggs were okay, but after that they were inedible. The other items were okay, the breads were sometimes stale. I don't know if that would be different in the busy season, when things are being refreshed more often. Other than that, everything was great and it's in a perfect spot for what we needed, so we will happily stay there again and just plan to eat breakfast at the crepe place around the corner instead.
