Had a superb extended Weekend stay at the Grands Boulevard Experimental, despite some small nuances that were, more or less resolved quickly. Rooms, albeit the standard ones are small, but that's a given in Paris for standard hotel rooms, are clean & well designed. Beds are comfortable and big enough. Bathrooms are clean as well. Breakfast buffet was in my opinion phenomenal. Not the biggest selection but clearly the motto is quality over quantity which I really appreciated. Even offered fresh Crepes on the weekend, with an amazing self made hazelnut spread which was a delight. The super professional and charming employee with the short curly hair was really attentive and well spoken. He even remembered our soy and oat milk choices for our morning coffee, which was a nice treat and attention to detail! Soft boiled eggs according to wishes were cooked to perfection. Location was brilliant, walking distance to most attractions, and especially the Louvre. Took 20min and it's a treat to walk the Paris neighborhoods early in the morning when the sun was rising. Restaurant choices nearby are plenty, you'd have to stay weeks to try em all, with many many quality ones to choose from. The only negatives were 1. the extremely slow service on our one visit to the rooftop bar. But to be fair, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt considering we were seated far far away from the bar and they had a birthday entourage which they probably put most of their attention to

Nice hotel in good location. Very friendly staff and service was good even upgraded our room on arrival. Rooms are very nice and well designed with nice ambience but could be improved slightly... For example, the bed side tables were very small and not that convenient for putting things on top of and the cupboard was quite small meaning the clothes were hanging over the mini bar. Nice restaurant and rooftop bar.

The courtyard restaurant is airy (it has a retractable glass roof) and welcoming. Our waiter remembered us from dinner and continued his excellent service that following morning. It lent a private quality to our visit. The food, in my opinion, was good bordering on excellent. The lamb preparation our first dinner was very good. The room offered a mix of eclectic touches (little benches for bedside tables and an old fashioned room key) with conventional modern cues (twin sinks, a Nespresso machine, a large armoire and a mini bar). The king size bed in our room was super comfortable and the large tv delivered clear French and limited English programming. A small seating area and window looking out on the street was a refreshing addition to our Jr suite. Downsides? The nightlife in the area is lively and nearby pubs disgorge their noisy patrons at 2 to 3 am on the weekends. There’s limited parking out front so taxis may pick you up a few doors down the street. The restaurant is crowded on the weekends so make reservations or risk service in the bar. Overall, a delightful stay.

If you’re looking for a quiet, chic spot that’s convenient to everything in Paris but feels homey and bespoke, this is the hotel for you. We (discerning gay couple from NYC) stayed here five nights for the start of our honeymoon. The best part about this wonderful hotel is the staff. They were, to a person, friendly, warm, and inviting*. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, and opened out onto a terrace with a lovely, fragrant herb garden used by the chefs in the restaurant. The bathroom was huge with amazing water pressure and deep soaking tub. The restaurant with retractable glass roof situated in the middle of the courtyard is classy but understated with a great casual vibe. We ate there the first night for dinner, and it was very good, fresh Italian food. Breakfast was a winner too, with great selections. We especially recommend the fresh-squeezed juices and made-to-order, expert omelets. The roof-top bar, The Shed, was a perfect spot for a pre or post-dinner cocktail with great ambiance, delicious cocktails, and serene vibe overlooking Paris. We were sad to have to transfer to our AirBnb. This will absolutely become our new go-to hotel in Paris. *we stupidly forgot to get our (essential) medication from the mini-fridge upon checkout. When we came back to try and retrieve it, both the hotel manager and head of housekeeping LITERALLY DUG THROUGH THE GARBAGE BINS to find it for us (which they did). They are literal lifesavers! 🙏

Very nice property close to lots of restaurants, some shopping (great mens store Donald’s next door), a little far from sights if you don’t like to walk. Pretty entrance off street. Rooms very comfortable with lots of amenities, incl recycle options. Bar only open in evening and restaurant food very mediocre. No lobby per se to sit and read or relax with a beverage. Staff very helpful.

Loved the roof top bar, balcony, entrance and location. Rooms a bit small so more hooks are needed to be able to hang some items up in bedroom and bathroom, especially jackets and pants. Staff well trained and very willing to help. Made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again.

This small hotel tucked away off the boulevard was in the perfect location for seeing all the sights! It was very clean and the staff friendly. I loved the view over the hotel restaurant and courtyard. The bed was very comfortable and cozy! The bathroom was lovely. The only issue was the room temperature, especially the bathroom. It was very drafty and sometimes too chilly, even with the heat turned up.

Ants. Need I say more? Mainly in the bathroom but I saw a few on the bed too. I told the staff about it and they were super quick to deal with it. No one offered any form of compensation or a way to make up for it. And although they were quick to spray whatever it is they spray, once you see them-you can’t unsee them- if you know what I mean. Great location otherwise, staff were really sweet. Restaurant peeps not as sweet. Small rooms. Cute vibe. None of the outlets near the bed worked so I was charging my phone in the bathroom. Once you use up the toiletries provided they don’t replenish unless you ask them, that kinda stuff.

Beautiful hotel, accurate description from other online reviews in terms of gorgeous hotel decor, comfortable stay, great service, helpful staff, convenient location near metro (also walking distance ~15mins to RER station for direct train to airport). Small-ish rooms but similar to other Paris accommodations. Dim mood lighting may not suit those with poor eyesight but was okay for me. Bathrooms the best! If you like art nouveau style and bygone era vibes, you’ll love this place ❤️

This is a very cute boutique hotel that is centrally located. However, aside from the hotel and its bar/ restaurant the neighborhood doesn’t have much to offer. The rooms are well appointed and the service was excellent.

Hôtel fantastique. employés très gentils. C'est calme et sûr dans un emplacement parfait. La chambre est impeccable et la décoration est magnifique. La salle de bain est grande, chaleureuse et bien équipée. Belle vue depuis la fenêtre et silencieux. Le restaurant est impressionnant.

The only negatives were 1. the extremely slow service on our one visit to the rooftop bar. But to be fair, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt considering we were seated far far away from the bar and they had a birthday entourage which they probably put most of their attention to

Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms were well decorated but extremely small. We knew this coming in as the description revealed the size of the room. We only stayed for 1 night so it was fine. If you are staying longer, I’d recommend getting a larger room.

For example, the bed side tables were very small and not that convenient for putting things on top of and the cupboard was quite small meaning the clothes were hanging over the mini bar. The staff at this hotel are outstanding. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy. We had a few problems with the room and they took care of it immediately. Special thank you to Clara at the front desk and Arthur who was very friendly in the restaurant. To improve our stay, I would say please improve the lighting in the rooms, they are very dark.

Great staff, but maddening room. We stayed in a queen size room for two. The bed was clearly not queen size, which I sleep in at home. as my legs extend about 6 inches beyond the end of the mattress. I’m 6’1”. The room had a small writing desk, but no chair to sit at as there was no room. Likewise, there was no closet, but rather a combination clothes hanger, table and mini fridge. That meant one’s clothes would hit the coffee machine and other desk top items. The shower was anemic. The upside was a great location and a staff that was superbly trained, friendly and efficient.

I love staying at the Grands Boulevards hotel, it's very central and convenient, with many great options for food and shopping around. Walkable everywhere. The room are not particularly large, but very sexy and cosy. The restaurant/breakfast area is gorgeous under a glass veranda. highly recommended

Loved the roof top bar, balcony, entrance and location. Rooms a bit small so more hooks are needed to be able to hang some items up in bedroom and bathroom, especially jackets and pants. Staff well trained and very willing to help. Made us feel very welcome. Would stay here again.

Ants. Need I say more? Mainly in the bathroom but I saw a few on the bed too. I told the staff about it and they were super quick to deal with it. No one offered any form of compensation or a way to make up for it. And although they were quick to spray whatever it is they spray, once you see them-you can’t unsee them- if you know what I mean. Great location otherwise, staff were really sweet. Restaurant peeps not as sweet. Small rooms. Cute vibe. None of the outlets near the bed worked so I was charging my phone in the bathroom. Once you use up the toiletries provided they don’t replenish unless you ask them, that kinda stuff.

The front desk team is fantastic. Especially Olivia and Ariana. The two bars have a great vibe and cocktail menu ⏤ could hang there for hours. Rooms are cozy, warm and clean. Recommended local restaurants are Isshin Ramen, District and Bon Bouquet. Overall, this was a great stay.

If you’re looking for a quiet, chic spot that’s convenient to everything in Paris but feels homey and bespoke, this is the hotel for you. We (discerning gay couple from NYC) stayed here five nights for the start of our honeymoon. The best part about this wonderful hotel is the staff. They were, to a person, friendly, warm, and inviting*. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, and opened out onto a terrace with a lovely, fragrant herb garden used by the chefs in the restaurant. The bathroom was huge with amazing water pressure and deep soaking tub. The restaurant with retractable glass roof situated in the middle of the courtyard is classy but understated with a great casual vibe. We ate there the first night for dinner, and it was very good, fresh Italian food. Breakfast was a winner too, with great selections. We especially recommend the fresh-squeezed juices and made-to-order, expert omelets. The roof-top bar, The Shed, was a perfect spot for a pre or post-dinner cocktail with great ambiance, delicious cocktails, and serene vibe overlooking Paris. We were sad to have to transfer to our AirBnb. This will absolutely become our new go-to hotel in Paris. *we stupidly forgot to get our (essential) medication from the mini-fridge upon checkout. When we came back to try and retrieve it, both the hotel manager and head of housekeeping LITERALLY DUG THROUGH THE GARBAGE BINS to find it for us (which they did). They are literal lifesavers! 🙏

We were there to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The front desk staff treated us like family. Remarkably good service experience. Also, the Metro entrance (trains 8 & 9) is right outside the hotel, so we were footsteps from everything in Paris. Great restaurants, shops, whatever we needed within easy walking distance. I can't say enough good things about this property.

My husband and I stayed here during our anniversary trip to Paris in March. The customer service was exceptional from the front desk staff, to housekeeping staff, the bar and restaurant staff. We arrived at the hotel several hrs before checkin due to an early flight. We were greeted with smiles and told they would prioritize cleaning our room. We had breakfast at the restaurant while we waited. Our room was spacious and bigger than I had hoped. Beautiful aesthetic, throughout the hotel and the room. I will say there there were two instances when staff entered our room while we were in there. Granted the rooms are sound proof and maybe they didn’t hear us call out when they knocked but it was definitely odd. Thankfully we were not walking around naked but it happened twice! We were more surprised than upset but we also realize that we checked in much earlier than scheduled. This did not impact our stay. We visited the bar a few times and the bartenders were pleasant, gave good recommendations, and made good drinks. Another thing to note, there is a pub next door and they tend to keep the party going until about 4am so if you are a light sleeper you won’t be able to leave your window open through the night. It’s a very busy area. There are tons of food places and restaurants, grocery store, fast food, even Starbucks nearby. Very centralized location. We took Ubers everywhere and got to most places within 15min. We would definitely stay here again!

Our 4th stay here. Great location, lovely staff, stylish decor. Will definitely be back. Only 2 things to note that would have made it a 5 star: 1) limited to brunch menu on Sunday lunch. It's quite expensive at 45 EUR pp - an expensive breakfast but also not really a normal lunch either. Lots of options, nice vibe and food was nice enough but some was cold. Not as nice in my opinion as the normal lunch/dinner menu. 2) not enough hooks in room for coats or in bathroom for towels

This hotel was so adorable and charming. From the minute we entered we were greeted and very well taken care of! It may be situated a little off the beaten "popular path" but its directly near a train station that was so easy to use and we used it every day. Felt very safe! Definitely give it a try!
This hotel was so adorable and charming. From the minute we entered we were greeted and very well taken care of! It may be situated a little off the beaten "popular path" but its directly near a train station that was so easy to use and we used it every day. Felt very safe! Definitely give it a try!

We were there to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The front desk staff treated us like family. Remarkably good service experience. Also, the Metro entrance (trains 8 & 9) is right outside the hotel, so we were footsteps from everything in Paris. Great restaurants, shops, whatever we needed within easy walking distance. I can't say enough good things about this property.

Our 4th stay here. Great location, lovely staff, stylish decor. Will definitely be back. Only 2 things to note that would have made it a 5 star: 1) limited to brunch menu on Sunday lunch. It's quite expensive at 45 EUR pp - an expensive breakfast but also not really a normal lunch either. Lots of options, nice vibe and food was nice enough but some was cold. Not as nice in my opinion as the normal lunch/dinner menu. 2) not enough hooks in room for coats or in bathroom for towels

Had a superb extended Weekend stay at the Grands Boulevard Experimental, despite some small nuances that were, more or less resolved quickly. Rooms, albeit the standard ones are small, but that's a given in Paris for standard hotel rooms, are clean & well designed. Beds are comfortable and big enough. Bathrooms are clean as well. Breakfast buffet was in my opinion phenomenal. Not the biggest selection but clearly the motto is quality over quantity which I really appreciated. Even offered fresh Crepes on the weekend, with an amazing self made hazelnut spread which was a delight. The super professional and charming employee with the short curly hair was really attentive and well spoken. He even remembered our soy and oat milk choices for our morning coffee, which was a nice treat and attention to detail! Soft boiled eggs according to wishes were cooked to perfection. Location was brilliant, walking distance to most attractions, and especially the Louvre. Took 20min and it's a treat to walk the Paris neighborhoods early in the morning when the sun was rising. Restaurant choices nearby are plenty, you'd have to stay weeks to try em all, with many many quality ones to choose from. The only negatives were 1. the extremely slow service on our one visit to the rooftop bar. But to be fair, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt considering we were seated far far away from the bar and they had a birthday entourage which they probably put most of their attention to

The room was nicely decorated and the amenities in the bathroom were nice. The dining area had a full glass retractable roof so there always was natural light. Breakfast was really good and the scrambled eggs is a must. The staff were friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. This was a recommendation from a relative and I'm glad we took her up on her recommendation.

For example, the bed side tables were very small and not that convenient for putting things on top of and the cupboard was quite small meaning the clothes were hanging over the mini bar. The courtyard restaurant is airy (it has a retractable glass roof) and welcoming. Our waiter remembered us from dinner and continued his excellent service that following morning. It lent a private quality to our visit. The food, in my opinion, was good bordering on excellent. The lamb preparation our first dinner was very good. The room offered a mix of eclectic touches (little benches for bedside tables and an old fashioned room key) with conventional modern cues (twin sinks, a Nespresso machine, a large armoire and a mini bar). The king size bed in our room was super comfortable and the large tv delivered clear French and limited English programming. A small seating area and window looking out on the street was a refreshing addition to our Jr suite. Downsides? The nightlife in the area is lively and nearby pubs disgorge their noisy patrons at 2 to 3 am on the weekends. There’s limited parking out front so taxis may pick you up a few doors down the street. The restaurant is crowded on the weekends so make reservations or risk service in the bar. Overall, a delightful stay.

If you’re looking for a quiet, chic spot that’s convenient to everything in Paris but feels homey and bespoke, this is the hotel for you. We (discerning gay couple from NYC) stayed here five nights for the start of our honeymoon. The best part about this wonderful hotel is the staff. They were, to a person, friendly, warm, and inviting*. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, and opened out onto a terrace with a lovely, fragrant herb garden used by the chefs in the restaurant. The bathroom was huge with amazing water pressure and deep soaking tub. The restaurant with retractable glass roof situated in the middle of the courtyard is classy but understated with a great casual vibe. We ate there the first night for dinner, and it was very good, fresh Italian food. Breakfast was a winner too, with great selections. We especially recommend the fresh-squeezed juices and made-to-order, expert omelets. The roof-top bar, The Shed, was a perfect spot for a pre or post-dinner cocktail with great ambiance, delicious cocktails, and serene vibe overlooking Paris. We were sad to have to transfer to our AirBnb. This will absolutely become our new go-to hotel in Paris. *we stupidly forgot to get our (essential) medication from the mini-fridge upon checkout. When we came back to try and retrieve it, both the hotel manager and head of housekeeping LITERALLY DUG THROUGH THE GARBAGE BINS to find it for us (which they did). They are literal lifesavers! 🙏

I love staying at the Grands Boulevards hotel, it's very central and convenient, with many great options for food and shopping around. Walkable everywhere. The room are not particularly large, but very sexy and cosy. The restaurant/breakfast area is gorgeous under a glass veranda. highly recommended

Very nice property close to lots of restaurants, some shopping (great mens store Donald’s next door), a little far from sights if you don’t like to walk. Pretty entrance off street. Rooms very comfortable with lots of amenities, incl recycle options. Bar only open in evening and restaurant food very mediocre. No lobby per se to sit and read or relax with a beverage. Staff very helpful.

Our stay at Grand boulevards was excellent. We stayed for 6 nights and the service and staff did not disappoint. Location is great and close to most tourist attractions most within walking distance. We highly recommend the hotel and are already planning our next visit there.

Disappointed with my stay at this hotel! Rarely leave reviews but I spend a lot of time in Paris and there are much better boutique options for this cost. PROS - Comfortable beds - Stunning rooftop - Great location (if you like being in the thick of it) CONS - Misleading rooms: advertised balcony/terrace is shared not private which is not clear in any photos or descriptions so if you want a romantic balcony vibe, don't expect that. - Rooms are a decent size and very 'instagrammable', but WORST room design. If you like to unpack there is almost 0 storage within reach (apart from a shelf and hangers my 6ft3 partner could hardly reach). No drawers, or shelfs in the entire room or bathroom . Cleaner was leaving the towels on the toilet seat there was no where to put them! Shame they didn't design this better as room is a good size for Paris. - Rooms are generally dark, bathroom lighting is terrible for getting ready. No full length mirror or mirror in the main room so you are left getting ready in a dimly lit bathroom. - Staff meant well but service not the best: Mentioned our disappointment in the balcony to concierge and they offered us a free bottle of champagne. They forgot to bring up the champage for an hour when we requested it, and gave it to us without glasses, which meant we couldn't even drink it as we were rushed to go out. Recommendation: Book at Hotel de Nel 2 a couple of streets away or Les Bain instead, Swing by Experimental for drink only instead.
