So they advertise $10 a day parking which is not true at all. You have to use a city parking lot down the block that charges by the hour. You can only pay for two hours at a time, so you are constantly trying to remember to pay again. The front desk clerk told me that you only have to pay until 6:00 pm which is also false, you have to pay until 11:00 pm and because of this false information I received a $48 parking ticket. Also there is no coffee here and unless you put the do not disturb sign on the door the maid service will wake you up before 8:00 am to change your towels.

The service received at this hotel was fantastic despite a rough beginning. Upon checking in, the room hadn't been cleaned. I informed the person at the front desk, and he made sure it was done while we went out for dinner. There are some things in the listing that are deceiving, however. It says parking is available, which is false. There is PAID public parking nearby for $1 per hour from 8AM to 11PM, but there is a 10 hour max. Not ideal when you don't need to take your car. And since I was not expecting to pay to park my car, this was an additional cost that made my trip not worth it. Secondly, the listing I chose says the room sleeps 3, this is also incorrect. There is 1 bed. I assumed the couch turned into a bed, and it did not. After asking, I was told I could rent a cot for an additional $20 per night. Again, another unforeseen cost. We opted not to rent the cot and ended up sharing the bed. The listing should not say sleeps 3 if there is only 1 bed and the cot is not included.

Great location. Very close to the beach. Expedia says parking available, which means it's not included. Parking around the area is expensive. Also claim laundry is available but it is not. Walls are not very insulated and from was extremely noisy. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were not the most comfortable.

Very basic hotel, interior needs renovation. Mouldy, weird smells. Bathroom ok. Don't believe the expedia listing though: they offer *no* parking and it can be tricky to find a spot nearby, especially on weekends. We ended up parking a 15 minutes walk away and had to pay for a day at the time. The person at check in was quite rash. You have to indicate your exact time of arrival in advance as the reception is not usually staffed.

The room was very simple. Some broken tile here and there but nothing terrible. However, the parking situation is a joke. There are only about 5 spots on the street in front of the hotel. All others are at the public lot at the corner. If you leave either of these locations hou can forget about getting a spot again. I had to wait several times at Walmart for hours until the lots cleared out just to go back to the hotel. It was beyond frustrating! So either park and don't leave or don't come back until after midnight. I left with an additional 2 days already paid for to go down to the keys to get away from this area! Staff was incredible, that was the only plus.

Parking was free after 6pm until 8 am. But since it was public parking and there was lots of events in the area, it was hard to find parking. The hotel itself doesn’t provide parking and is a little tough to find. Also, if you check in late you will have to check in via text message.

It had the cheapest parking in Miami (comparing with other we paid for. $1 an hour until from 8am-6pm and then the night was free). Walkable to beach, restaurants, supermarket etc. Excelent service. Nice small hotel.

The property seemed ok on the outside from the street. You go in and is old and dirty. Our room was so bad we slept with clothes and did not shower because it was terrible. We only stayed one night and it was horrible enough! Little roaches so we had to close our luggage and not leave anything open. Would never come back!

This place was awful. It was dirty, smelly, small, and loud. It looks nothing like the pictures. Shower completely floods the bathroom, there were bugs, the fire alarms went off, and it was super moist/humid inside. The only good thing is the location.

The place looks sketchy to begin with. The sheet has dead bugs on top. Bathroom dirty. Towels ripped off and has marks. I’m The front desk( guard) confused about reservation and doesn’t handle customers properly. Its not worth at all. I request refund for all that.

Wonderful find just a few blocks from the bandshell and the beach. What an amazing deal for a short getaway. Not a lot of frills, but everything you need including a mini fridge and microwave. Lots of walkable food options nearby. It's an older property but kept very clean and organized. What really stood out was the staff. You can tell they love the place.

The location to amenities, the beach and the trolley were great. The hotel was quiet and staff helpful. The cleanliness was not great. The shower had drain fly larvae crawling from the drain. The whole shower was full of mould and there were drain flies in the room. The pillows were rock hard and the mattress was not very comfortable.

I have a pretty high tolerance for ‘stays’ but this experience was just not great. First, the walls are thin as paper - I could hear pleasure one night and snoring the next. Oh, another night there was a door alarm going off and no one to turn it off. The fridge was so cold it froze all of my groceries - which ruined them. The blinds were difficult to open and close. The body wash, shampoo, and condition rested on the floor of the shower - with no labels, so I didn’t know which was which. While I understand the thought behind not having an attendant, but when I needed something there was no one to help. The only good thing was the hot water and water pressure.

Fire alarm went off when I had my child & spouse sleeping. The door scraped off the ground when opening. Lock system wasn't efficient & room was very tiny with small fridge & the rooms were not sound proof you could hear footsteps, tv's & people in other rooms. terrible experience I would not book here again. I could've gone to green seas motel for better service.

The room was very plain but the property was in a great location. Parking is paid but 1/2 block away. Rooms are cleaned every day which many hotels aren't doing now. The hotel is very secure with no keys. It si all codes for entry. I will definitely stay there again as it is near my son's home.

The hotel was minutes away from the beach, bars; and restaurants along with just a short drive to south beach. My only concerns were with the shower not having a splash guard to prevent water from coming out onto the floor and also my microwave did not work but the microwave issue was fixed within 24 hours of my stay. I’d stay here again if the walk-in shower issue is fixed.

Checking was fine, front desk helpful, but room was not great. Shower seriously leaked water and came through the wall. Description on Expedia not exactly right. There is no $10 hotel parking and the room I booked advertised capacity of 3 but was just 1 bed. Bed was comfortable and location right off of boardwalk (2 blocks) and Italian restaurant next door very good.

Parking was an issue. If we left and came back before evening we were often unable to find a spot. The room was very small, but clean and comfortable, but we could hear the people in the room above us very clearly. Ovi was quite helpful suggesting places to go and places to eat - every place hd suggested was reasonably priced and the food was delicious.

My room wasn’t the best but I have seen worse. My bedroom sink was broken towels and wash cloths were old. I also had ants. The table and chairs were little rusty in the room . The lobby area was clean and smelled really nice, but rooms did not. The patio area was okay. There never no one at the front desk. I never got properly checked in overall the staff member I did meet he was very nice and kind.

Ovi (front desk) is a gem of a person - will come back!! Treats guests like family & will share all the ins and outs of the area, they provide towels, chairs and umbrellas. A quick 2 minute walk from the beach. Relatively quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of restaurants, shopping market etc.

I think it's time to tell you a truth. My experience vs expectation 10 - 0. Loud music playing by the front desk guy until midnight (room 101) . Super loud (my room #103). I left this this hotel around 1am because I couldn't handle it. I met the front desk guy around 12:30 am and he said I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I'm having sex with my girlfriend, that is why the music playing so loud. This is understandable, first and last stained at this place. STAY AWAY,!!!!

The manager Obi was incredibly nice and accommodating. Great sense of humor. Place was very clean. Nice area. Safe area. A 3-5 minute walk to the beach! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Miami.

We loved our stay at Costa Norte! Room was a decent size (not large though) but was clean and had everything we needed. North beach was just across the street. Free bus trolley goes to South beach. A lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance! It was lovely! OBI (or OVI) the hotel worker that checked us in was hilarious! He might’ve been the highlight of our trip to Miami. Very friendly guy and always gave us what we needed.

The room itself was clean, but the man at the front desk was easily one of the most unprofessional font desk people I’ve ever had to deal with. He was coughing loudly, blowing into a rag repeatedly, and even scratched the hair on his head with my credit card. When we attempted to enter our room, the code provided to us did not work as it was not activated. We asked for another room and he raised his voice saying there were no other rooms available. We ended up having to grab dinner while we waited for the room code to be activated an hour later. Would recommend any other place in Miami Beach. The staff at this place are incredibly unprofessional.

This is a very decent place to stay for joe average. It's an older building and a little rough around the edges, but it's clean, quiet, cute with great staff. Basic accomodations at a reasonable price. We really liked how it was near walgreens, publix, dennys, beach, trolley stops, and many other stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. All this yet a very quiet area. We will be back.

It had the cheapest parking in Miami (comparing with other we paid for. $1 an hour until from 8am-6pm and then the night was free). Walkable to beach, restaurants, supermarket etc. Excelent service. Nice small hotel.

So they advertise $10 a day parking which is not true at all. You have to use a city parking lot down the block that charges by the hour. You can only pay for two hours at a time, so you are constantly trying to remember to pay again. The front desk clerk told me that you only have to pay until 6:00 pm which is also false, you have to pay until 11:00 pm and because of this false information I received a $48 parking ticket. Also there is no coffee here and unless you put the do not disturb sign on the door the maid service will wake you up before 8:00 am to change your towels.
