La Selva Beach Ocean Front Townhome - Direct Beach & Ocean Access

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful sunset view and dolphin sighting, easy pathway to walk on the beach.Host responded quickly with instructions for the fireplace.

I stayed with my twin daughters (18y) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Falling asleep to the crashing waves, enjoying the deck at sunset, and the hot tub before bed made it a truly relaxing experience. The location was great for day trips to Monterey, Santa Cuz, Miss Landing, even hiking Big Sur if you leave early.

We really enjoyed the location, and it was nice that two couples could each have a floor, plus the kids in their own space! We made good use of the spa and sauna, and loved the easy access to the beach. Be aware: there are A LOT of stairs - each floor has high ceilings, so maybe more stairs than anticipated. And the spiral staircase to the bottom floor is fairly narrow, so carrying luggage/beach toys to the bottom floor might be more easily accomplished by walking around!

The views of the ocean were amazing. Cannot beat sleeping and relaxing to the sounds of the waves. The most calming and soothing to the soul.The condo was clean, well equipped and spacious for 8 of us ladies. It was GREAT and will definitely book it again.

We had a great time! Disappointed that there is no hot tub. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom on second floor needs work. Mold problem. The BBQ, chairs, etc were in great shape. We all really enjoyed our time in such a beautiful place. We will stay here again.

Lovely property which seemed like we had our own private beach. There is no grocery shopping or restaurants close and we thought the rental had a hot tub but really enjoyed our stay, Beach towels, beach chair and beach toys were available. I could watch the kids on the beach from the porch. I would rent the property again.

While slightly funky this property has an amazing view, fairly easy access to the beach, a hot tub (!), and is well apportioned. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved watching the ocean, the birds, the seals, the porpoises etc. The fireplace was so cozy and easy access to Santa Cruz and surrounding cities.

Contacted agent 5 times over 3 days to get extra car pass. She never called back. She finally said they are in the binder on the coffee table. It is posted 2 places that the hot tub was cleaned on Monday! We are on the beach on Friday and see a man in our unit doing something with the hot tub. We were quite upset that someone had come in with all of our personal belongs laying around. There was no notice that someone was coming. Agent said they clean Monday And Friday. Both signs say Monday, nothing about Friday!! Agent doesn’t seem to know much about anything. And there was sand in the hot tub. Not from us, already there! One burner on the stove doesn’t work. I tried calling when we saw the man in our unit and the emergency number went right to voice mail.Our stay was just ok. I wouldn’t rent from this agency again.

Gorgeous spot. Comfortable beds. Beautiful house. The beach is gorgeous. The 2 queen beds had lots of sand and hairs in both beds… I don’t know that they were changed. The other beds seemed clean though. The floors were really dirty. Definitely couldn’t go barefoot unless you want super brown, dirt, hair, sand on your feet. But everything else with the house was great. The last side note is that they were having red tide (not the fault of the owners of the VRBO obviously but it would be nice if they noted to watch for it) - we didn’t know what that was but talking to other locals on the beach they let us know it wasn’t safe to swim (but our kids were already in) and that it happens every year around this time (beginning of October). We had 3 out of 5 kids show symptoms after swimming. We pulled them out as soon as we were told (they were only in the water maybe 15 min!) but we didn’t know and wish we had. The property overall was great though and we enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to roast hotdogs and marshmallows on the beach. And the views are stunning. It is a great place to stay right on the water.

Beautiful property in a clean and pleasant location. The house was super clean, nicely equipped and has everything you need as a family. We even extended the stay by a night and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for hosting us!

A beautiful place to get away and unwind at the beach. I have stayed in a house like this before when my friend owned one and it brought back such incredible memories. If you love to stroll on the beach with hardly anyone around this is your place to get away and unwind. The house was clean had all the appropriate amenities and was perfect. Can’t wait to book again.

We enjoyed our stay at this ocean front home. You could hear and view the ocean from each of the 3 stories. It was nice to be able to have a space for the children to enjoy themselves as well as a separate space for the adults to mingle. We definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a cozy, spacious and comfortable place to enjoy a swmi private beach.

We have a family reunion every year centered around our own condo in same complex as this one. So we're prejudiced! This is a wonderful way beach vacation. Walk down the stairs and on you're on a gorgeous uncrowded beach with great boogie boarding waves. Fall asleep watching and listening to the waves. Enjoy meals and relaxation while watching the sun go down over the ocean. What more could you want?
