We had a car and the only parking is the airport car park which is very expensive. There is a discount but still very pricy. The location in terms of proximity to the airport is excellent. Easy check-in/check-out.

I’ve stayed here twice now, so feel a little easier saying this hotel is simply convenient. Check in guy was friendly, room was clean & as expected, but twice now going down to try & eat or drink is embarrassing. There’s always a long low queue just to purchase a drink!.. why not have a queue for food & a queue for just drinks.. or just have more people serving when it’s busy.. always the same here. I’d rather spend a little extra & stay at the, ‘just as convenient’ Hilton next door next time… not sure if they’re always understaffed or just poorly managed.

Over all comfortable stay night before our holiday. The one thing that let it down is the lack of staff serving. Had to que for a while just to get two drinks, need a till for drinks n 1 for food.

Overall, it was an okay stay. the room was nice and clean. The breakfast could have been better. visiting the NEC for a conference meant walking over each day which wasn't far, but there isn't an easy crossing to the hotel entrance. You have to do a big loop around barriers to get there. The reception staff were not the friendliest during check in. We've checked in online which we received as an option via email. upon check in at hotel they said the online check in isn't possible despite us doing so via their link. Parking also very expensive as it is near the airport. The hotel emails kept sending messages about parking and saying there is no longer discount available. We paid full price only to learn afterwards they do still offer half price parking vouchers. Overall ok, but if other hotels nearer to NEC available next time, I will be booking those.

The hotel is a short walk to the airport terminal and very convenient. It is well maintained and clean. We arrived before check-in time and invited to wait in the bar area. However, no food was available until the restaurant opened at 5pm.

Busy downstairs and bar area. My room was quiet. The bathroom is like a boat's bathroom cabin. The room itself seemed clean but I found multiple hairs. Very close to the airport terminal. Staff were nice.

Room temperature controls not very clearly marked but it didn't really matter because the unit wouldn't work properly anyway. The kettle would not initially work until I jiggled the leads to the extension it was plugged into (not safe). There was no shower mat or hand towel and the body wash bottle in the shower was empty.

Very friendly staff. Room was dated and dirty, visible stains on curtains and remote control was covered in crust. There was a questionable stain inside the kettle - what’s been boiled in it? This was room 409. Restaurant menu and clientele had “cheeky spoons ahead of Benidorm” vibes. Staff cannot be faulted, they were friendly. But it’s a budget hotel (though I was not charged budget prices). Location was convenient for the airport and for NEC, but it is on the airport side so not best for a NEC conference

Good location, hotel is clean and staff are friendly. TV in the room wasn't great as you can't use Chromecast or get onto any apps such as Netflix. There was also some red staining on the floor of the room and some areas hadn't been dusted before our arrival.

I stayed here before my flight back to Belfast. The staff here couldn't be more helpful. Lovely, clean, comfortable room that's only a two minute walk to the airport terminal. Will definitely stay here again.

The stay it’s self was very enjoyable The beds were amazing very clean and Comfortable Some marks/stains on the carpet but really didn’t bother us at all The only thing that was an issue and did affect us There was no heat in the room at all it was stone Cold We were given an electric heater but that wasn’t all that great They need to sort that issue out But apart from that it was a very pleasant stay

Room was fine though no hand towels. When we asked we were informed the “Ibis standard” did not include hand towels. I’ve stayed here before and there used to be hand towels…. Odd way to cut costs. Bed, on the other hand, was more comfy than I remembered

Stayed overnight after a late flight home with my mum. No issues, just found the bathroom cubicles very strange (felt like a train/airplane cubicle). Condition of rooms were average , strange layout but were surprisingly quiet (despite being at the airport) and found the beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good value so overall happy with what we paid for. Wouldn’t want to stay for leisure but very practical for an airport travel stay

I've stayed at this Ibis and several others and never been disappointed. On this occasion I found room 413 to be exceptionally quiet. There was a hold up with my check in due to the selfishness of other guests but otherwise most pleasant stay

Nice clean hotel cleaners did walk into our room without knocking but reception apologised and messaged the cleaners to tell them to knock bed was very squeaky so didnt get much sleep you moved your toe and it made a noise

The hotel is a great location for the airport or NEC. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, poor service spoiled my experience, particularly in the restaurant. Long queues in the evening were the norm to order drinks and food. At one time there was a big queue but one staff member was happy to sit in the corner on their mobile phone than attend to customers needs. This clearly stressed some other staff. It was not clear if table service was available if you sat in the main part of the restaurant or not. I had to ask and got different answers. Breakfast was hardly better with frequent queues due to the lack of basics like bacon and sausage. When sausages did arrive they were cold! Problems with key cards failing to work as well, and when I complained the staff on reception replied "we know, there is nothing we can do".

Great hotel stay for an early flight. The only thing that needs improving is the walk to Reaorts World as a bridge was closed off so we had to do a longer walk around. It should be so much simpler. There was a really long check in queue which we luckily avoided, but saw people queuing to check in for ages.

Ideal location for Birmingham Airport and NEC friendly and Helpful staff….we had slight problem with bedroom door card reader not working one morning but staff soon called out engineer who soon fixed door card reader …brilliant

I know for a fact I left my Jewellery in room 513 on Monday 11th, left my watch, earrings and bracelet on the bedside table. I checked out at 4am, tried contacting hotel from 5 am and no one responded to 7pm in the evening. So cleaner must have picked them up.

Considering it is on the airport complex it is good value for money. Rooms not the biggest but good enough. Easy check in and Out. Adequate food available. Window seal a little worn so sounds from runway somewhat noticeable. Its a good value very convenient option for the airport.

Really easy to walk to the airport, but some signage would have been helpful. Had to ask which was the best way to go. Very helpful, friendly staff. Room clean and had everything i needed. Room a little on the small side so i had to use the bed to take everything i needed out of my case. Nowhere else to put it. Overall a good place to stay for convenience to the airport.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable however the restaurant is altogether a different matter. There is insufficient staff, a lackadaisical attitude towards customers, table's are left untidy abs nit cleaned, including dirty menu's. We ordered 2 veggie lasagnes and after waiting an hour and still not receiving them we had to ask for a refund as we felt it was too late to eat and needed to get to bed ahead of our very early flight. Very unsatisfactory. Staff seemed indifferent to our annoyances

Such a lovely warm feeling when we walked into the hotel.Room was beautifully decorated and clean throughout. Our only fault was the breakfast we paid £23 but only continental breakfast and was very sparse. This wont put us of booking though ,if its an early flight again i wont book a breakfast

I was staying in Birmingham for the Festival of Quilts. It was perfect venue for NEC and the airport. I was able to leave my bag in beforehand and after so I was not carrying it around. I was a bit disappointed with breakfast. There was a strong perfume taste off the scrambled eggs, the sausages also had a strange taste. My evening meal was fair enough although I thought the price was added to my bill but this was not the case. The room was very clean and perfect for my one night stay. There was a hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities but no biscuits. The toiletries provided were ok but I’d brought some of my own too. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
