I had booked this hotel partially because of the good reviews of the breakfast, but I did not like it. It was just wierd to serve kielbasa sausage two days in a row for breakfast, instead of breakfast sausage, and I did not like the way the eggs were cooked-one day they ran out of eggs. Also, there was an abnormally long wait for the elevators between 7-9 am Sunday morning-maybe only one was in service.

Like the location and the cleanliness. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was quite good. I enjoyed the coffee. The only negative was that only 1 elevator was working the entire 4 days we were there, so it was a bit of a wait. We had a dog with us and our room was on the 4th floor, so it was a hassle when we needed to take the dog out for his business. The parking was full one of the nights, but after talking to the staff, they moved a hotel vehicle and gave us the parking spot.

For the price in OC AIrport area, it is the best value of any we have stayed at. Accommodations were real good. Only complaints were the pool needs to be heated and the elevator is slow and you are constantly waiting with many others and STAFF. Need a 2nd elevator just for staff.

They offer a shuttle service but it’s not available after 10 PM (other hotels have done it before, even sending an Uber when shuttle not available) they did not provide it so I must pay a Lift car.

We found several ants in the bathroom almost every nights that we stayed. Also in suburbs where there are extra spaces, they still charge extra parking fee about $30/night.... not a good service at all.

I came here after my flight was cancelled and I was scheduled to leave the next morning. When I called to ask the shuttle to pick me up, some woman put me on hold for 10 mins, but I hung up and called back and Erick (the guy that picked me up) was super helpful. Checkin was easy and the rooms were comfortable except that the person above me walked so hard. The person next door also woke me up with their snoring and their alarm. This my biggest gripe is that the walls and ceilings are not well insulated

This property was great for my stay-central location in OC and close to airport-Only issues for me were-ac/heat wasn't very consistent and walls are a little thin so could hear noise in hallways and in room above me.

The front desk staff of this hotel and their actions were completely unsatisfactory and “customer service” was about the worst I have ever experienced. There was a mistake on the room reservation and they made statements like “I could give you an upgrade, but I won’t”, and when we said maybe we will look at nearby hotels they replied “sure, go ahead, be my guest” as to infer the did not care if we wanted to stay elsewhere. They actually said “be my guest”! Who, in the global travel and hospitality industry, would ever say these things to a paying guest. We will never again book a stay at this Hampton Inn and Suites, or any Hampton Inn for that matter after this terrible experience.

Our room was very quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly, even letting us check in a little early. They scheduled for their shuttle to take us to the airport the next morning. We have no complaints, and if we needed to stay in a hotel close to the airport there again, would definitely choose this one!

Emily at the check in was very welcoming and helpful. She sent a shuttle over to pick me up from the airport. That gentleman was very friendly and helpful in providing details on the area and food. Emily checked up on me too regarding the room. They were do friendly and welcoming. My son and I loved the place. Hot breakfast was yummy too. We will stay here again when we come in town. Thank you for a great visit!!!

This hotel is near the John Wayne Airport (walking distance) and a freeway. However, I did not hear any airplane or freeway noise in my room which faced the airport and freeway. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The airport shuttle was on time and efficient. All around a very good experience.

Quick overnight, departing early the next morning from John Wayne airport. Property is conveniently located to airport, quiet, clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was; there is not a restaurant on property, but many with a 2 mile radius. The hotel offers airport shuttle, something which has all but gone away.

Computer system was down so we could not check in. We had changed our reservation online previous week for 2 queens but when we arrived the down system only showed one king and sofa bed. Plus the sofa bed had no bedding on it. The other person who was to sleep in the 2nd queen could sleep on a sofa bed so they had to secure a room at their personal cost at another property. Our bathroom didn’t have Kleenex not back up rolls of toilet paper.
