Rooms were clean and well maintained. Pool was excellent. Breakfast options were limited but there was a fridge and microwave in room and other breakfast options close buy so it wasn't an issue. There were a lot of sights and things to do in the area and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The pool was not open and had not been open for a long time. We did have hot showers and good water pressure. The free breakfast was coffee and toast. The staff was friendly

Pool was closed. Air conditioner above us poured so much I thought it was raining. Breakfast was only cereal and toast. Luckily Hardees is across the street and Burger King is close Very misleading from the photos online as the reasons we stayed here!

It's cheap and quiet which works for me, but I'm a simple person. The only issue I had was trash and an old guest shirt was under one of the beds. Also the ice machine did not work because it was not plugged up.

The bathrm was dirty . The toilet rocked & swiveled . Breakfast was bread , butter, jelly, 2 kinds of very limited yogurt, packaged mini donuts & cookies , 2 kinds of cereal, 1 juice , milk & coffee. The coffee maker had no tray & only got 2 packs of coffee . The trash can was very sm & they only emptied once . Good thing i had a trash bag. I was sitting in chair , the wind blew the table & umbrella over hitting me . Employee came out , told him it blew over . The response was for us to pick it back up when the wind calmed down. The pool was not cleaned well , still had algae in areas. Very disappointing stay at hotel . It is nothing as described & the picture didn't reflect the room .Surrounding area great.

There was rat poison everywhere, mold on the ceilings, our pillow cases, our bed sheets, there were 6 spiders behind the bed. We had to pull our beds out from the wall kill the spiders. The air was barely cooling so I went to check the vent and the dust was at least an inch thick you can tell these rooms do not get deep cleaned we couldn't even shower the bath tub had so much scum built up in it and was per disgusting. I had booked the room for 5 nights let say I checked out the very next morning. I also asked the owner who cleans his rooms for him and he stated a few guys up stairs for exchange for a free room. I was like wow.

No garbage can in the room. Roaches in the room. Power strip broken. Broken furniture. Floor dirty. One hanger to hang clothing. On the second night I had roaches crawling on me around 1:00 AM so I never went back to sleep. Breakfast was only cereal and bread. Dog in the kitchen. Animal crap in the walkways. Staff not professional. Very disappointed. Left a day earlier, they refused to give me a refund for one night. The health department and the fire department need to have that place inspected. Never again, will contact my credit card company for a refund of one night.

Room was unclean. Feet were dark and dirty walking from shower to bed. I had to rewash and put on socks. Sticky floor. Sticky remote. Broken door to bathroom and water out of the sink came out brownish red to start. Issue over bottom floor request and upcharge to accommodate even though many downstairs rooms went unoccupied.

I didn't like that the light would not come on when switch activated at the door entry, very cold air coming thru door when closed need new door seal, the little lamp on the right side wall didn't worked and toliet was wobbly and two regular size pillows for king size bed but other than that the room would be good for an overnight stay only.

No comforter/bed spread, only a light blanket that was for a smaller size bed. It didn't even reach the sides of the bed. Broken non working blow dryer. A/C was cold tub was clean. We just stopped to get some sleep on our way to Daytona from east Texas. Not a place to stay for much more than a few hours of sleep. Price was worth it for that.

The hotel needs a bit of updating ; for example the bathroom tiles, grout, and caulking all showed signs of age and wear. The a/c was quite noisy but that seems a common trait in a lot of hotels.

The room smelled musty, the bed was very uncomfortable, patched areas on ceiling that looked like they were going to fall apart, locks on door was broken, I had a difficult time opening the door with the pass card, ice machine didn’t work. Overall the place was terrible, the only thing that appeared to be half way decent was the swimming pool. I’ll never stay at this place even if the price was reasonable.

It’s a quaint little town and it was because we were too tired to go any further. For the price, it was a good value. I read the reviews and I was prepared for a worse experience. I did notice that the upstairs rooms were rated slightly better than downstairs so we opted to climb. The room was clean. Beds were soft. Air conditioner worked good.

There was no breakfast except cereal, the remote for tv would not adjust volume or turn off, no cold air, had to run it constant at the lowest temp constant & no ice for the room. On the up side there was a nice pool (if had been cleaned) & a fridge in the room plus neatly. . . No bugs thank you

Quick overnight stay driving to south FL. This property is an old motel that has been pleasantly updated with wood style laminate floors, new counter tops and sink and furniture. Very clean and A/C worked well on a warm and humid night. It's on the eastern edge of the old town, about 3.5 miles from the I-10 exit. Bed was newish and comfortable. You could do a lot worse for the price, so check it out. We left early so did not see the free breakfast that starts at 7am.

The receptionists and the cleaning staff were always very nice and helpful. Both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Very convenient location to be able to make it to Cave Adventurers quickly, and there are a variety of fast food as well as nicer dine-in restaurants nearby.

The night shift front desk was amazing and very sweet and helpful. The next morning when it was time for checkout and for staff to inspect the room so I could get my $50 deposit back, the guy at the front desk was very rude and acted as if it was an inconvenience and we were bothering him.

We stopped here in the middle of a big storm super last minute and the manager was excellent. He checked us in promptly. Property was dated, but clean and quiet. I ended up leaving some items behind in the room and called panicking, and he got them shipped back to me right away. Thank you so much.

This hotel was fine. It was an older hotel so not as nice as a modern chain but for the area it was good. I did not see any evidence of crime, nor did I feel unsafe. They seem to house people mostly around back away from the highway which helps keep the noise down. Overall, a fine experience. Staff was exceptionally nice.

The parking lot was constantly full of suspicious people walking around, talking loudly, yelling and it seemed to me basically a place to buy and sell drugs. I left in the middle of the night since I didn't feel very safe there.

Only thing I didn't like was you couldn't take your breakfast to go you had to eat it in the office area which was very inconvenient due to me having to be at work and in a hurry I ended up having to go else where and buy breakfast due to the rules when I don't see why it mattered considering it was offered with the room.

Hotel was decent for the price. We booked two rooms and they cannot put us next to each other because they said they were sold out. But they were hardly any cars in the parking lot. We went down for breakfast in the morning after had been open only for a half hour, and there was no food or coffee. And the lady said she was going to refill it but never did so we ended up leaving. So the point is just go pay more for a hotel that will actually have breakfast.

This place is showing wear and tear. But it is clean. Breakfast sucks! Nothing is there except some cereal and milk, few slices of bread for toast, luke warm coffee, no sugar, no sweetener, just a nothing breakfast. Still had to go out and get something to eat. Not happy with breakfast.
