Beautiful and Clean Hotel. Excellent breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. Surprised they had Cornhole and chess for their guests. Very well kept grounds and Superb Staff Service. The location was in a safe area and there is shopping within walking distance.

Family trip to Long Beach before our cruise. Both pool and hot tub are under construction and not working. Sent to a sister property about 5-10 mins away and the pool and hot tub were tiny and not heated. No other options available. Bummed kids. Breakfast was pretty good though.

The property is nice and it is kept clean, and the staff is fairly friendly and efficient. The free breakfast is nice too. However, the pool area was super crowded during our stay, the doors were not locked, and it seemed to be taken over by several people who were not guest of the hotel. The hot tub was not hot. It was rather cold and was a big reason why we stayed. There was an accident at the pool after the Fourth of July and was closed, which was quite upsetting to our daughter who has special needs. The hot tub did not seem to be a one time heating element going out sort of thing because we had stayed a month and a half prior and it was also lukewarm at best. Also towels have to be checked out at the front desk and returned or signed in and out and it’s rather inconvenient, but I do feel necessary since so many people are in and out of that area. The location is nice with a Starbucks right across the way and very close proximity to the airport. Laundry facilities are clean and available although five dollars per each wash and each dry load and the dryer does not seem to get the clothes dry after one so one load of laundry is about $15.

This is a great hotel! The room was very nice with modern decor, comfortable bed, and walk-in shower. The outdoor pool area is better than most I’ve seen, with seating areas, outdoor games, and a BBQ. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Although this hotel seem amazing at a glance . The jacuzzi was broken and never got hot . In order to receive a pool towel you have to go “ check out” the towel in the lobby . They kept telling me that the towels were in the dryer and come back in 15 mins . Went back and still no towels available. This happened a few times . Then the following day I called front desk to ask for dry towels to be delivered to the room , and same thing . Took 45 mins to receive the towels . My family had to share and reuse the same 3 towels. Unacceptable!

The hotel was in a good location. I was shocked that once we entered the room, it appeared to be old (outdated) and dirty. We requested to change the cover sheets and some other stuff that were dirty. The bathroom and the floors were dirty as well. Shower curtain was ripped. The bathroom door was broken.

We stayed overnight 3 days prior and the it was fine, last night before we flew home was a different story. Check in staff was as wonderful as first time. Our room was below standard, the bathroom floor was filthy. It actually had black shoe prints. I will also say the bedding both stays was very old and grungy. But it has free transportation to Long Beach Airport.

The first room that we checked into was dirty and cleaned in a hurry. After reaching out, our room was changed and the new room was much cleaner. There was no internet for an entire day during our stay. No one at the hotel seemed to bother or provide alternatives. Parking onsite was $18 a day.

The building looks nice and modern but I wish the condition of the beds and sofas are the same inside the rooms. The beds and sofas are so worn out and has stains on the bedsheets. It was hard to sleep with the super flat pillows that were provided and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. The front desk were friendly although when I asked for towels 2 times I didn’t get them to the room and the other time I had to get it myself because they took so long to ask the housekeepers that they were already off. What I liked about the hotel was the easy parking and quiet area near the shopping area. The staff also let us check in an hour early so it was convenient. The breakfast was about the same everyday but not too bad for a hotel breakfast buffet. I would stay here again for the location, cleanliness, and convenience.

The hotel is very nice, staff were nice, and the place is clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night, even on the weekends and being near the airport. The pet relief areas were very helpful - our two dogs were happy with a place to go. The kitchen set up is very basic but does include a large fridge and freezer and nice microwave. The bedroom was huge, which was nice w/ two dogs (it fit their crates). Living room furniture was a bit weird (why the long ottoman under the coffee table?). Could provide more towels for a 3-night stay. We had to call 3 times to get more delivered. The hotel is in a great location near Hangar LBX w/ lots of food options and near the 405. It was very good overall, we will stay here again.

We were told by a representative that we might be able to get early check in at 2 pm however none of the rooms were ready so they told us that check in was guaranteed at 4 pm. We went back at 4:10 and ONLY 2 of 3 rooms we have rented were available and then they gave me a hard time checking in. The customer service is lacking!

Hotel is very clean, close to the airport and within walking distance to food. The best part of our stay was the hotel staff. From the moment that we walked in the door, they were very accommodating, I have never been to a hotel that EVERY single one of the staff members were nice, smiling and super helpful. Dear staff members, Keep up the excellent work, when we travel sometimes it can be stressful but when you come across a staff like you guys, it really helps ease the stress! Thank you!

Nice rooms. Staff was not friendly at all. Not curteous, didnt explain things well. My room was given away although a reserved it weeks ago. I had to take a room with a smaller bed. When I checked in had to park my car in the back , put my luggage on a cart and tried to come in through the back. The front desk clerk forgot to mention that they lock aclcess to the back after 10pm for safety reasons. I called her to let her know I couldnt get in, she didnt apologize for not letting me know she hung up on me while I was still speaking. Horrible expierience, they dint want to hear you when have something to say. All I wanted was to be heard. If an issue came up they shpuld know how to handle it. I was not being rude ir screaming, I just wanted to be validated and they didnt mske me feel valued at all

I’ve stayed at many hotels worldwide, & this hotel was the worst experience. They have extremely poor service, from towels, to a request for an extra blanket, to soap. They charged us $250 US extra calling it a “cleaning fee”. I’ve been trying to email the hotel manager, & Hilton itself, several times, no one bothered to respond back. In 6 nights they cleaned my room once, & they charged me $250US. My family had several rooms as well, & they hated the experience as well. They stayed for 3 nights & were told that they weren’t entitled for cleaning, since it was “just” the 3 nights. Hours of wait for towels. & every time we’d ask for a towel, or a sheet they said their dryer was broken & had the only 1 dryer. & this lasted for days. Even Days Inn would’ve had a better service. This Homewood suites, certainly does not fall into the “Hilton standards”. Please do yourself a favour & find an alternative hotel.

For the price of this hotel, the service provided when reporting a problem with the room was very disappointing. I got a text right after check in asking if our room was ok and I reported that there was a very large section of carpet outside the bathroom that was soaking wet and I was concerned there might be a leak. They asked if it was ok to send someone up and I said yes please and no one ever showed up. As there was 5 of us in the room, we stayed up in the living room waiting for maintenance to show up and when we finally got a knock on the door at 10:15 it was not maintenance but someone who worked at the hotel telling us that quiet hours were in effect and we needed to be quiet. We were not loud by any means, just talking in the living room. I then reported this issue the next morning and was just told “hmmmm, I’ll chat with the staff from last night to see what happened”. On the positive side, the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and the shuttle driver from the airport was an amazing lady.

Very clean facilities in an excellent location. Close to the airport with hotel shuttle service available. Shopping and dining within walking distance. Surrounding area is beautiful and well-maintained. Exceptional customer service from hotel and shuttle staff; very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Stayed here for 4 nights during Warped Tour. The location was safe and close to numerous dining options. Loved the close proximity to Walmart and Costco too since the rooms are suites. It was an easy commute to downtown Long Beach for the music festival and plenty of other attractions in Long Beach itself. Will for sure choose this hotel again for next year

Service and room was nice. Breakfast decent. Very close and convenient to airport. Airport shuttle supposed to be included but when I called about it they said I may have to wait a while as the desk was short staffed. So had to take a pricey cab for a 3 min ride. Return shuttle to airport worked fine though driver coild have been friendlier.

Not much dining options, breakfast was the same every day, coffee was not hot enough in the lobby, clean pool towels were not stock consistently- had to call front desk several times to get someone to stock the towel station, housekeeping did pick up hallway and ice machine trash area on a regular, didn’t get enough trash bag to last a 3 day stay, there was no dish sponge to wash dishes.

Only cleaning the room every three days was fine, but still having to request a cleaning wasn’t explained. The breakfast staff dont replenish food/hot coffee for basically the last hour of service unless absolutely necessary. We often had cold coffee / food if we ate during that time.

The Homewood Suites is one of my favorite hotels. I live in the local area and have stayed here several times. However, when I need to just get away to relax, peace, and quiet I stay here. The hotel and the entire property is always very clean. I love the pool, barbeque pits, and games you can play near poolside. One great thing is the large jacuzzi- strong jets, very hot, and spacious . Whether you stay on the Hampton Inn side or Homewood Suites (I have stayed at both), you can't go wrong. Directly across from hotel (walking distance) many choices for lunch or dinner plus shopping center also walking distance is Whole Foods, In n Out burgers, TJMAXX, Handels ice cream, etc. There are other hotel choices, but I always check first to see if this hotel is available. Breakfast - I love that breakfast is included with hotel stay. Overall, breakfast is always good. However, my only problem is I just wish they would change the main dish more often. Each time I have stayed, I am there for 3 to 5 days - it's the same pork and chicken carnitas i'll take care. I'll take care of it right now so you don't do later on in the refrigerator. Give him half another half. I'm here. I give him half a breakfast half a lunch (every morning). It would be nice if they serve turkey sausage , bacon, etc. sometimes. The kitchen staff very nice and helpful - just wish if one staying whole week - you could not have same item everyday.
