Pleased with location and facility. We brought our instant cereals for cooking but there were only 2 coffee cups and 2 spoons available use. A few dishes, an ice tray and paper towels would be nice.

A fun little motel with a great view of the mountains! It was a warm night and we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the base board heating so we opened the window. Room was clean and had a retro feel to it. We also liked the big eagle statue in the middle of the property!

Check in was super easy. We got in very late and no problems finding our room and a place to park in front of our door. Rooms are very comfortable and extremely quiet. We needed a place to park an extra car for a few hours after checking out and Veronica was very accommodating. We have been looking for our go to place when we need a night in Anchorage. We will be back!!

Check in was smooth and simple. There was no AC only a loud fan to circulate air in the room. We thought it was overpriced for the location. Someone else booked it for us, but we should have looked ourselves. We would have found nicer places for less expense.

Beds were comfortable enough, and for a quick stop, this does the trick. The nightstand and other surfaces were covered in a layer of dust, which made me wonder how clean it could be or when the last time it was wiped down. The plumbing was making loud noises the entire night, not sure if it was the neighbors flushing or if there was another issue. Bathroom was the nice albeit cramped. If you’re looking for a no frills, cheap stay, this is great. Check in was easy, literally didn’t see or hear from the property owners except a text requesting license plate.

I got to my room and the sink was clogged and full of hair. they were already in bed, they wont let you in their office. Even in the morning I could not talk to them about the broken sink, ice bucket, blood on sheet. Then i had a job interview and its so far out of Anchorage you cant get an uber. Very inconvenient. I paid 229.00 for one night it was expensive and there are no dining options or eminities

Das einzig gute war der freundliche Mann an der Rezeption. Ansonsten eine völlig überteuerte Unterkunft ohne Frühstück. Alles war extrem dreckig (Tür, Fenster und Rahmen, Kühlschrank, Tassen, Wecker usw.). Auf das Duschen haben wir deshalb sogar verzichtet und mitgebrachte Becher benutzt. Ungebügelte Bettwäsche, die entsprechend „ausladend“ wirkte. Rückseite der Rezeption - also Ansicht aus dem Motelzimmer - wie eine Sperrmüllhalde. Trostloses kleines Grundstück nah an der Hauptstraße.

We enjoyed our stay here. When we first drove by it was a little scary. Motel type places usually aren't places we would stay. It could use some updates on the outside and inside. It's an older place. On our second stay, the woman who helped my husband check in gave us the largest room because we had stayed there a week before. She was very kind. Her daughter came down to show us how to use the remote for the TV that we couldn't figure out. Very, very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.

We needed assistance on getting the t.v. and wifi to work . There was nobody answering the office doorbell and tried to call them but couldnt as there was no cell service. The beds are soft so not good if you have back trouble . The rooms were clean and like the location.

This reasonable priced motel is a great choice if you’re spending a few days pre-cruise. It is just down the road from Anchorage off by itself near great hiking and convenient to the glaciers. The exterior is a bit dated, but our room had been nicely updated with all the standard expectations along with some charming touches. It is a virtual check in; however, the host was very responsive to email or text which made it super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Only hotel we have ever booked thru Expedia that DOES NOT REFUND CANCELLATION! We needed to change travel dates and all other properties were very accommodating but not this one. It turned out as we passed it by that it’s a DUMP anyway. We had a wonderful stay at Inn at Tern Lake. Shame on you Bird Creek, you obviously needed our money more than we did.

Comfortable bed, pillows, clean at a great price.We took an Uber there. Nothing available to go back. We took City Taxi. He was very nice and helpful. Management very responsive to issues checking in. Easy process. Beautiful setting. RV spots available. Great motorcycle roads.

While the outside of the property looks a bit dated, the interior is very clean and nice. Beds are comfortable. Not too far from Girdwood. Great location to easily access lookout points for umbre bore tide. Lots of space in the room to spread out. Check in was contact less and very easy.

It is a small motel near the scenic road from Anchorage to Seward. The view awesome. It takes 30- 40 minutes to get to Anchorage, 20 minutes to get to Wild life center and 40 minutes to Whittier. The price is much reasonable compared to the fancy hotels in Anchorage and Sewards. There is a gas station next to the motel. We brough our own food. We did not see many dinning options.

Very nice motel belying its outside appearance. Room was clean and comfy. All contact was done via text message and there was no check in. Room was left open with keys inside. Text them your license number. When you leave, leave the key in the room and lock it pushing lock on the electronic door lock. There was a gas station/ convenience store next door. Closest place to eat was 2-3 miles down the road at the Brown Bear Saloon. Would have been nice to see staff.
