Older property, we had a spacious room with a nice balcony and a kitchen table/sink/refrig/microwave. The price was great. Decent beds, quiet, and a container provided for collecting spring water from nearby fountain. Location is walking distance to Hot Springs bathhouses. Free parking/no breakfast. We had breakfast at a famous pancake shop nearby. Across the street are hiking trails to park.

A great location a few minute walk from Bath House row in Hot Springs. The motel was clean and quiet. The room was small, but definitely good condition and clean. Good quality for the affordable price. Location was close to all the major spots in the park as well as a the Happy Hollows Spring one of the only cold springs in the park. Parking was easy. Staff friendly. Lawn games available too!

We loved the happy hollow! The location, price and amenities were all top notch! We had a wonderful time in Hot Springs! This was also a very pet friendly hotel, our room was on the first floor with direct access to a nice little yard. We were right across the street from the entrance to Hot Springs National Park too!

Clean, comfortable beds/linens, outdoor seating and convenient to walk to restaurants and bathhouses. The Terrace walkway entrance was just 1/2 block away and was a perfect quiet stroll to the other side of the bathhouse row.

What a great place! The staff was very nice and helpful, I felt welcomed when we arrived, like I just came home and met a friend. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, and a nice shower. We had a small kitchenette with a sink, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, and kitchen table. We loved the balcony and enjoyed sitting outside with our morning coffee and cocktail at the end of the day. Super walkable location, trail heads right across the street, about a block from Bathhouse row, and there was a water filling spot right next to the hotel. We didn't move our car until it was time to go home. If we visit Hot Springs again, we will definitely stay at The Happy Hollow again.

Location is excellent, only two block walk to bathhouse row and restaurants. The happy hollow cool mineral water spring is very close and hotel gives you a bottle to experience the water. Older motor inn that has been refurbished and National Park trails go in front and behind the motel. Had a great time.

Retro but updated. All the basics you need for a comfortable nights stay. If you plan on walking around a lot and spending only a little time in your room, this is perfect for a budget friendly option. But they do offer cable and 300 channels if you decide to be lazy in bed. Everything was super clean, no carpet, staff had extra supplies if needed, ice available with disposable buckets, plenty of parking, spring water fill-up station literally around the corner, and just across from the entrance for the mountain tower path. I've stayed here twice now and absolutely love how peaceful it is. Also, if you're thinking of someplace else because of a pool, there's no need. Literally less than 10 minutes away (walking) is the Quapaw bathhouse where you can pay $25 for a day pass to soak in their mineral pools. They have a little cafe inside as well for drinks and snacks.

Good location and mostly quiet. We previously stayed in a larger room. Just warning folks the basic room indicates it includes a kitchenette however, I can tell you the room and especially the shower and bathroom was very tiny. I can only blame myself since I made the booking. Parking was good except only one handicapped parking spot. All still close though.

We enjoy staying at the Happy Hollow. It's so convenient to walk to Bathhouse Row without having to find a parking place. The only negative thing we have found is that the air conditioners don't get the rooms as cold as we like it. Just be sure to bring a fan.

It was nice that hiking trails through the Hot S National Park we’re across the street. Historic downtown was just down the street. The hotel had tables and chairs just outside the rooms so guests could enjoy the scenery. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Window AC units were effective in controlling the room temperature. I would prefer a larger shower, but the motor court has retained the classic nature of the property.

Thank you for allowing us to use the pool before check in. And then check in early. Rooms and property were really cute. Bed felt cushy at first but quickly after, I realized the mattress was very old and in need of replacement. But overall, worth the price.

Loved our stay at Happy Hollow, my only complaint was the bathroom/shower was small. Other than that we had a great time and was happy being able to walk to many things. Loved having the trail right across the street and the hotel is in a quiet area.
