Hotel is beautiful, comfortable and in excellent location. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional (particularly Hugo). Before our arrival we were informed that one of the restaurants would be closed for remodeling. We didn’t care. What we didn’t realize was the lobby would be covered in tarps, furniture jammed together and patio closed. No one wants to vacation with appearance, sounds and smells of construction. Disappointed.

Cute hotel in Polanco. There’s a great rooftop for those nice evenings. The rooms are large and well decorated. Really modern. The bathroom is big too. Shower is nice but the water takes some time to warm up. You can get filtered water from the restaurant right downstairs. As others have mentioned, the doors aren’t really soundproof so at night can hear doors and people in the hallways. The hotel is relatively quiet but perhaps a bigger issue during high season. Nonetheless, the hotel is great, and front desk was also helpful. You can also borrow a large umbrella if needed. Overall great stay!

First impressions and lasting impressions: EVERYONE from the bellhop to Hugo at the front desk to the guys in the bar restaurant could not have been more hospitable. One front desk fellow was very kind in helping us change a dinner reservation. The rooftop terrace was a lovely amenity. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. Yummy breakfast and sweet lobby! Great location for nice dining and access to Chapultepec Park! Totally loved our stay at WO would absolutely return on our next visit to CDMX!

The Wild Oscar has pleasant staff, is in a convenient location, and is incredibly clean. However, some consistent inconveniences keep me from giving it 5 stars. Upon check-in, I was surprised to be informed that the hotel was placing a 7,000 pesos hold on my credit card to put towards using the facilities like the on-site restaurant and spa. This was a total surprise to me as it was never communicated at any point in the booking process or in the communication I had with the hotel prior to checking in. Also, the design of our Superior room had some serious flaws that kept us from having the best experience possible. The bathroom lacked a place to hang our towels to dry and when you open the bathroom door, you have millimeters worth of space between the sink and the door, which led to me jamming my hand between the sink and the door and injuring myself. Also, on two occasions, housekeeping failed to replace either our hand towels or one of our bathrobes. In conclusion, the Wild Oscar is a solid travel option but there are some flaws.

Nice boutique hotel with spacious rooms. Notes: Shower takes a long time for water to heat up, no pressure. Room is nice and quiet, but very dark. Mattress on firm side. Overall this hotel was wonderful! Great location, and the staff were very friendly. My only recommendations are that there needs to be more light in the rooms. We were a large group with 5 rooms and every woman in each room was complaining that it was impossible to do their makeup with the bad lighting. This was both during the day and night. The second issue is the level of noise from the street. My husband and i had a hard time sleeping at night and would wake up super early from the nose outside. If these 2 issues don't pertain to you, then it's absolutely wonderful!!!

A nice, well-located hotel with slightly inconvenient room features such as a closet that didn't accommodate longer garments, water that took 10+ minutes to heat for the shower, a mattress pad that may have been made of plastic that made annoying an annoying sound when shifting in the bed. Kind staff, interesting rooms, surprise welcome gifts. No bottled water in rooms (even to purchase) there was a vase with purified water that guests could use which made me question how often the vase was washed between guests. Breakfast was nice (included for a colleague who booked locally, but not for me despite our rates being the same or perhaps mine was a bit higher). I wouldn't necessarily recommend for business, but the staff is nice and it's well located in Polanco.

The team at the Wild Oscar were incredible. They were helpful with making day travel plans and for special surprises I was planning. The hotel is beautiful and the area around it is very safe and pretty, great to walk to get coffee or food! Overall, I’d give it 11 out of 10 if I could!

The Wild Oscar is the perfect boutique hotel to stay in the Polanco area of Mexico City. Amazing location walking distance for everything. Modern clean hotel. Fabulous room with a great spacious bathroom. The best part of the stay was the staff. Very professional, attentive and friendly. This is my go to place.

Stayed 2 nights at this property. The Polanco area is great to walk through. Lots of dining options and the subway isn't far. The hotel was quiet and the service was excellent. The only thing some may not like is the decor is on the darker side. Otherwise a great experience.

Great small, boutique hotel. Staff were terrific and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had with many options so you don’t get bored during a week’s travel. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly and match the quiet, sophisticated vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again .

La calidad de la comida excelente, ambiente acogedor, atención personalizada, tamaño del dormitorio muy cómodo, me gusta el detalle que ofrecen agua purificada sin costo y no en botellas plásticas. Lo que no me gusto: la iluminación en el baño para maquillarse es muy pobre. No tenia vista a la calle, pero aunque la vista era a un vacío interno, estaba bien pensada para ver partes internas bonitas del hotel.
