Le Meridien Houston Downtown

Great modern hotel in the heart of Downtown Houston. The hotel has a really cool rooftop, and a restaurant downstairs with a full menu. They also have really good illy coffee throughout the hotel. The gym is setup nice with lots of natural light from all the windows, refrigerated water bottles and chilled towels. We stayed in one of the suite style rooms, which is a nice 1 bedroom with separate living room and dining style setup. The bathrooms are huge and have a spa like feel. It was a great stay for my work trip. My wife and 3 month old baby also joined and the room was perfect for all 3 of us.

The hotel was clean, smelled so fresh. The room was clean and spacious. The amenities of the 2nd story restaurant and the rooftop bar were definitely a bonus. The hotel is also convenient to other restaurants and downtown entertainment.

The roof top bar was amazing, clean. Elegant hotel with great staff.

The only issue I have with the hotel are the elevators. The rooftop bar is quite a popular spot and on a Saturday night I had to wait in a line for about 15 minutes to get into an elevator to get to my room. They need to replace their elevators with the modern innovation, where you input your floor and it directs you to a particular elevator, so every elevator doesn't have to stop on every floor.

The weekends the elevators are a nightmare

Enjoyed our stay the parking/valet situation is less than ideal.

Everything about my stay was excellent with the exception of housekeeping barging in one morning after we yelled no thank you after they initially knocked on the door. Great property & was slightly disappointed to learn they didn't have a pool on premises.

Valet parking extremly expensive

At this property there is a rooftop bar. There were lots of people trying to go up and 3 elevators were not working. Only one was. Front desk was not very sympathetic and failed to mention there was a service elevator on the far right. Some of us figured that out and we started using it. Front desk should have mentioned that instead of telling us we could use the steep stairs.

Valet parking is horrible here

The hotel was clean, smelled so fresh. The room was clean and spacious. The amenities of the 2nd story restaurant and the rooftop bar were definitely a bonus. The hotel is also convenient to other restaurants and downtown entertainment.

Valet was not very professional and had us wait over 45min after they forgot about us, was really expensive as well $50 for one night. Other hotel staff were great. Rooms average, were kind of worn out and not very clean. Good location.

Nice property despite maintenance visibly going on. The rooms were big and clean, however, some stains were visible on carpet. Wine and desserts offered in the lobby around 2pm. A great touch.

The hotel itself is very nice, but when I entered the room, it had not been cleaned. The sheets were off the bed, there was trash on the floor, trash by the door from the previous people that stayed there. I tried calling the front desk but the phone in the room did not work, was completely dead. Once I told the person at the front desk, they put me in a clean room, but she was not very friendly about it. The person at the desk when checking out was very nice.

This was our second time staying at this property, check in is effortless and conveniently located. The property was well kept and very clean!

Staff was wonderful. Their rooms were nice and clean also large, which was nice. The location was not a noisy area and a good enough distance from Broadway. Actually everybody had a great time.

I stayed here for three nights and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I was hesitant initially because I felt some reviews were conflicting but I’m glad I booked anyways! The front desk staff were very helpful and the Zutro staff were very friendly despite how busy the restaurant was at times. I loved the cafe inside the restaurant, super great coffee! The food in the restaurant is a little pricey but so delicious! I felt like it was money well spent. I was working remotely and originally planned to work solely in my room because the desk area was very nice but decided to work in the lobby on the 2nd floor and I really liked the vibe and felt it was easy to focus on my work and be productive. I also tried out the rooftop bar on February 17th and I happened to be a very cold and windy time of year but they had heaters out there which made it easy to enjoy the scenery. Also the bartender was very friendly and sweet despite having to be exposed to the elements! I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. I thought it would be a little smaller but it was very spacious and so was the bathroom! I appreciated how organized the closet was set up which made unpacking very easy. We were on the 17th floor and we still could hear street noise at night but again if you stay in the downtown area of any city it’s a given. Plus I think their curtains helped muffle the sound a lot. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Houston but I would definitely stay again at Le Meridian!

Good place to stay. Internet service was not the best. Still, we were able to rest and relax.

The beds were rather hard and uncomfortable. I thought I read the beds were feather top and feather pillows, but the beds were not. That’s the only major issue.

Loved the property. The ONLY thing my mom and I didn’t like is the lighting in the bathroom. It’s terrible for doing hair and makeup.

Room felt damp, could not control thermostat, phone not working, tv kept turning off. Overpriced room

Beautiful property. Very clean and spacious room. My only complaint is the bed. It was not very comfortable.

It was a great stay. Was able to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. Just a few small things. Theres 5 elevators and only two were working. Beautiful view of the city but the windows were dirty. This is an odd one but theres on 50 tv channels, I felt limited.

Our stay was good overall we stayed Friday and Saturday night. Only problems I had were, only 1 complimentary bottle of water, and the A/C in our room would not keep the fan on. So the street Noise was insanely loud at 2am Saturday. Overall great trip next time Ill bring my own fan.

The fan in our did not work, and the bathtub didn’t drain properly.

Super friendly and expert customer service.

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. When we checked in, our room had a moldy smell and was very loud due to the construction happening on the street below. We asked to change rooms, which was immediately granted. The room they gave us was one floor down and on the exact same side as the other. It was even louder, and we didn’t sleep a wink. The staff didn’t seem to care, and I never got a call back from management that I requested. I won’t be back.

The staff was friendly & very helpful The 1st room I got was warm & I called down to the front desk and they sent someone up promptly to address the issue, we went for a bit and the room was still warm I called back down to the front desk and once again they sent someone out promptly, the AC wasn’t working so the provided us w/ another room without out any issues. I would stay at the property again other than the AC issues everything else was perfect.

Great service from staff all around.

I had a great stay. I ran into a few issues with housekeeping not cleaning the room 2 days. However, Trae, the new front desk manager, came to the rescue on the second day and had housekeeping complete the task. In the evening, the bartender in the main lobby and restaurant was amazing!

The staff was very friendly and helpful

The staff were very welcoming from check in through check out. Requests for towels were meet nearly instantly. Clogged toilet was resolved quickly. All staff were courteous and friendly. Very clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Able to store luggage prior to departure. Will definitely stay here and other locations again!

The service from Ms Bailey was incredible.

Upon entry everything was so beautiful and very clean the ladies at the front desk were amazing and very helpful and it was a nice touch to receive a glass of champagne upon check in. I would absolutely recommend family and friends to stay at this gorgeous place

We had an event at Daikin Field and this was the perfect location to stay! It is a short walk to the field and Hotel was very nice and clean and staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend and we will stay here again when visit Houston again.

Excellent hotel for an event at the George Brown Center

Very convenient for the Convention District. Comfortable hotel with good facilities. A few nice restaurants within 2 minutes walk.

This hotel is right in the heart of downtown. Easy walk to Minute Maid Park and several restaurants and bars. Very clean and quiet. Valet parking and staff were excellent and valet was only $45 a night, which I thought was very reasonable. Looks brand new. Beautiful room. Restaurant on the first floor. Areas to sit and talk and chill on the 2nd floor near the lobby. Staff and housekeeping are top notch.

My husband and I went to the game for his birthday, this location was great, walkable to several restaurants, bars, and Daikin Park. The staff were friendly and helful, the hotel was clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Loved that check out was 12pm instead of 11am, giving us a little more time to sleep in.

I went to a concert in downtown Houston and needed a place and this was an excellent choice.

The Zutro staff were under staffed but very calm and helpful and efficient. Andre was exceptional. The food was very tasty also.

Loved the adult beverage at check in. I chose the tequila shot. I thought the king sized bed guest room was cozy and very clean. Great water pressure and the body wash smelled amazing. Yay for having Netflix! Great coffee from the coffee shop, LOVED the Rooftop Bar, and valet was quick and the service phenomenal.

Had a fantastic stay! Staff and facilities were amazing!! Restaurant in hotel was great with excellent food and service! And the Roof top bar was a great way to end the day! Definitely will be back!

I recently stayed at tge Le Meridien in Houston and had an overall fantastic experience. One of the highlights was the rooftop, which had great vibes, especially at night with music setting the perfect atmosphere. The view from my room was incredible, offering a clear sight of the stadium, which was a pleasant surprise. While the restaurant menu didn't have an extensive range of options, it offered exactly what I needed. The staff was friendly and added a lot of energy and excitement to my stay. The rooftop was definitely my favorite part of the experience, making this a memorable visit!

The reason we booked the hotel was for the rave reviews of the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, the hotel systems were down so they were not able to give us keys to our room and the restaurant/bar was closed. They did escort us to our room for entrance but we had to very mindful when we left because we were not able to get back in without an escort. Very disappointed.

The downstairs restaurant staff were very nice but service was extremely slow. Waiting on a drink when the restaurant was very empty day and night. There was no where else to mingle with family but the restaurant.
