Beware!!... I booked a room at Relais Della Porta and was put in a room at the inferior hotel next door (Relais Ammira) which I believe is the same owner. After 22 hours of travel, I was exhausted and didn't want to deal with it in the moment. The next day I was told that the room they gave me was bigger than the one I booked and had a jacuzzi tub. (I have no interest in a jacuzzi tub.). I booked a hotel with charm, and I got a hotel that felt like a dormitory. Ammira has NO charm. Since I was only staying 2 nights, I was not interested in changing rooms but would have appreciated some form of compensation, which they refused. I overpaid for what I got, I did not get the room I booked, and I definitely feel swindled.

Breakfast was fresh. Replenished regularly,when low. Many choices available. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Clean room,but I had to walk up and down stairs to get to it. Not good for my back and hard to carry luggage. The hotel still appeared to be in refurbishing stage. Was told it was a Very old palace. Location was good. Able to walk to what we wanted to see. Check other online searches for availability and room rate other than Expedia. I paid $40. More than my travel companions who booked thru bookings.com And they both had better accommodations My room was standard , they had junior suite.

This hotel was a gem in the middle of a chaotic city like Naples. It was in the perfect location, served great breakfast, and the staff was amazing. Alessandro created a wonderful itinerary for the day that I used. I would stay here again.
