Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington

We were overall very happy with our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we had been looking forward to this trip for a long time. Unfortunately, the AC in my parents’ room did not work during our stay. The hotel staff tried to help but were unable to fix the issue, and instead provided a portable fan, which unfortunately did not make much difference as the room temperature never went below 29°C. This was especially disappointing since the trip was meant to celebrate my parents’ 60th wedding anniversary, making the situation feel a bit unfortunate. Despite this issue, we still appreciated the hotel overall and hope this can be improved for future guests.

We had a pleasant and carefree stay at the Marriott. Everything was well organized, and we received a very warm welcome from Shain upon arrival. The room was spacious and clean.Breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of variety. The friendliness of the staff truly stood out, especially Shawnal/Sharman (if I’m pronouncing the name correctly) and Happy. They were incredibly kind and attentive, particularly towards our baby. Housekeeping was outstanding. The room was taken great care of, and a baby cot was already prepared upon arrival. We were pleasantly surprised to find a small box with baby care items as well. An appreciated gesture. After checking out, Criz kindly assisted us with our luggage, which we were allowed to store temporarily. We also enjoyed a friendly and pleasant conversation. The hotel is conveniently located near a large supermarket and within walking distance of the metro station, which made getting around very easy. The only minor drawbacks were the Wi‑Fi connection, which was not very strong, and the TV in the room, which could be improved. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service and very friendly staff. We would definitely consider staying here again.

got locked out of room due to lock problem, hotel says happens to anyone casually had to wait 2 hours to get my room and a full night to get access to my stuff pathetic
