Room was very clean! No funky smells when you opened the door. Shower was updated, walk in shower. No complimentary breakfast. There is a Starbucks in hotel. Valet parking offered and have city parking less than .1 mile (it’s behind hotel).

Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. It was close to the capital museum and Many restaurants. A bonus having Starbucks attached to the hotel. The room was extremely quiet and beds and pillows very comfortable.

Staff was very friendly!! Valet was quick and easy. Bar area had a few great beers and the food was very good. The connected Starbucks is very convenient too. This will now be my go-to hotel for Baton Rouge business trips.

The location is convenient—right in downtown Baton Rouge—but everything else left much to be desired. There’s no hotel parking included, so you’re forced to either pay $20 for self-parking or $25 for valet. On top of that, they place a $20 hold on your card. No free breakfast either, which felt like another miss. We stayed on a Saturday night, and it was ridiculously loud outside around midnight—cars revving, music blasting. Not ideal for families or anyone looking to get rest. Our room was spacious, likely an ADA room, which worked fine for us as we were traveling with kids. It had two queen beds, each with only three pillows, which felt odd. Beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy and mostly clean. However, the bathtub had some grime, and the shower faucet was coming off. It made it impossible to enjoy a hot shower without the water suddenly turning scorching due to the loose handle. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again. Next time I’m in Baton Rouge, I’ll book an Airbnb and skip the hassle.

Arrived 9pm. Front desk clerk said valet left hours ago and park at my own risk. I asked where to park. He stated the street was my best “chance” at not getting car broken in to. Could not find spot in street so parked in nearest paid lot. There was broken window glass ALL over that lot. We were lucky enough to not have any issues. But it was stressful and I Will not be returning.

Nothing on site says no parking at hotel. Only two options are park two blocks away at a public parking lot or valet for $22 a day. Advertises as breakfast included but its a Starbucks and maybe a sandwich. I pre-paid but when ordered, name/room wasn't on list so just walked away. Wouldn't stay here again

The room wasn’t super clean—the tub was dirty and someone’s hair was all over the bathroom. The staff was an odd bunch—complaining if you used Expedia and wasn’t really accommodating if you needed a late checkout (the hotel was pretty empty). Very lackluster experience.

I checked in on Friday and was immediately hit with a strong mold and mildew smell as soon as I walked into my room. It smelled wet and musty — like something had been sitting damp for a long time. I went to the front desk to request a different room, hoping it was just a one-time issue, but the second room had the exact same problem. There is visible mold on the windows, and the shower also has mold and mildew buildup. The smell is overwhelming and made it uncomfortable to even be in the room. It's clear that there’s a serious ventilation or cleanliness issue, and it doesn’t seem like it’s being properly addressed. I’m very disappointed with the condition of this hotel and would not recommend it unless they take serious steps to resolve the mold problem. For health and safety reasons, I hope management takes this seriously. I Do Not Recommend This Property!

Very impressed with comfort, beds were the best! Other than the shortage of towels all was great with cleanliness and comfort. We did have a loud night Saturday with blaring music from the street , cars and horns but must say exactly at midnight silence hit. Property was in great location for what our needs, yet was still cautious. Overall I would stay here again.

We came for a concert. While the hotel was clean the sofa bed was misleading. It is advertised as a double sofa bed. It is a Twin. We wanted a double bed but none were available thinking the double sofa would work we took the room. One person ended up having to sleep on the floor due to the sofa bed being a twin instead of a double.

Well, the TV was a blue color and the remote would work correctly. The web site did not say anything about the parking was only valet for 25.00 a day. The hotel was down town but the only parking was paid parking. There was only parking on the road side. I would just like heads up on this like this when going somewhere I have it been before. We were there for a big bowling tournament so the Hotel was close to that but traffic was not fun.

Valet service was inconsistent. One day we could get service if just at or after hours. Next day couldn’t. Room not cleaned which caused us not to have fresh towels after putting on ground. No fresh towels available when asked the front desk.

Customer service was amazing!! Staff was so friendly and curteous. We chose to use the Valet service and they even dropped us off and picked us up from our venue which was a few blocks away. Room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

I arrived at 6pm at the hotel to check in. I was told that they were about to contact me to tell me that they did not have a room for me. I booked thru Expedia 4 days prior! I was sent to a Hilton. That’s it, no more explanations. This was outrageous!

I stayed at your hotel from October 9 through October 12, 2024, and had an extremely disappointing experience. The manager on duty between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm on October 10, Monique, displayed a lack of professionalism and customer care, which greatly impacted our stay. Regardless of the menus provided, we were informed we had to go downstairs to order food, and even then, the menu was extremely limited. The expectation for basic services that should have been included with the room rate was completely unmet. Additionally, both ice machines were broken, and the hotel was down to one functioning elevator. The staff showed no concern for our discomfort, making it clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority. After I mentioned that I travel frequently and blog about my experiences with hotels and restaurants for a living, I was repeatedly disturbed by phone calls to my room. These calls disrupted my peace and included threats to move me to a different hotel simply because I raised concerns about the quality of my stay. Furthermore, I recorded all of our phone calls, which seemed to send Monique into an unhinged state. Her unprofessional behavior escalated, making the situation even more uncomfortable and hostile. The location is convenient—right in downtown Baton Rouge—but everything else left much to be desired. There’s no hotel parking included, so you’re forced to either pay $20 for self-parking or $25 for valet. On top of that, they place a $20 hold on your card. No free breakfast either, which felt like another miss. We stayed on a Saturday night, and it was ridiculously loud outside around midnight—cars revving, music blasting. Not ideal for families or anyone looking to get rest. Our room was spacious, likely an ADA room, which worked fine for us as we were traveling with kids. It had two queen beds, each with only three pillows, which felt odd. Beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy and mostly clean. However, the bathtub had some grime, and the shower faucet was coming off. It made it impossible to enjoy a hot shower without the water suddenly turning scorching due to the loose handle. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again. Next time I’m in Baton Rouge, I’ll book an Airbnb and skip the hassle.

Property was very nice and clean. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The parking was across the street and you have to walk through an alley that’s not very well lit. I did not feel very safe walking through it being a woman traveling with my daughter. Other than that, our stay was very nice. I would book here again.

Nothing on site says no parking at hotel. Only two options are park two blocks away at a public parking lot or valet for $22 a day. Advertises as breakfast included but its a Starbucks and maybe a sandwich. I pre-paid but when ordered, name/room wasn't on list so just walked away. Wouldn't stay here again

This Courtyard is downtown so it has a different feel to it. You have to pay for parking but that’s typical of downtown. The staff were not as professional as some locations but were good enough. We only had one towel for the two of us. Still a comfortable stay bc the rooms at Courtyards are consistent in quality and amenities.
