We had a great stay at the Ivy City Hotel in Washington, D.C., and were so happy we chose it! We felt safe, the staff was professional, and we were really pleased with the location and its proximity to the Capitol. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

When I arrived the room wasn’t ready, so I expected a rush job on the room. And that’s exactly what I got, you can tell the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Floor was completely wet, toilet dirty, shower dirty and the water rose when in the shower. This morning I woke up with multiple bite marks on my body, probably bed bugs! Then when I went to check out I was completely ignored for 10 minutes. Completely unacceptable, but what do you expect from a motel?

Better than I expected. You can tell they have brought in new furniture and tried to make it a pleasant place to stay. Some old marks on the walls and smells like cigarettes and weed from time to time. But to be expected for the price of the stay.
