The location is great, and the facilities are excellent. Since I was on a business trip, I needed to use my laptop, and it was very convenient to do so here. The breakfast was also excellent. I really appreciated that the hotel had a fitness center as well. This hotel is outstanding for its price. Jenny and Thomas were very kind and helpful in many ways. I would like to commend them. When I called a taxi, it was pouring rain. Since they lent me an umbrella, I had no problem going out. On the way to the airport, they even held an umbrella over me while I got into the taxi, so I didn’t get wet at all. This is truly a wonderful hotel. I plan to stay here again when I visit Hanoi next time. There was a sewer odor in the bathroom, but they changed my room. In some rooms, the sewer smell can be quite strong. Also, there was a lot of dust in the bathroom ceiling vent—I hope they replace it. Despite these drawbacks, I would still give this hotel a perfect 100 points. I support their efforts to become an even better hotel.

Became violently ill from breakfast. The “rooftop pool” is the size of a jacuzzi. The gym was also pretty bad. The hotel was down an alleyway. Just overall not what was pictured. Cannot recommend.

Lovely stay, lovely staff, great location. I was upgraded upon arrival, room was spacious and bathroom very modern. I slept so well! Gym on rooftop was small, but had everything you need. Breakfast was amazing! Large selection of dishes including usual breakfast items as well as more brunchy options like grilled chicken, noodle soups, stir fried veg, salads, and fruit. Staff were all so kind and lovely. Great location, walkable distance to all cool things around Old Quarter. 10/10 would recommend!

The staff were super friendly and made every effort to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was perfect. The breakfast was perfect & have the wide selection. The location is absolutely fantastic right in the heart of the city.The airport shuttle service was arranged smoothy. Very good hotel overall. We can easily see it was recently built. Location is great, just 10 min walking distance from Hoan Kiem Lake. It's located nearby two big bank buildings so we can see a lot of business people during lunch time. The AC was a little bit weak in my room, but they were nice enough to come and check it out, also they made sure to leave an extra card in the slot so that the room could keep its cool temperature all day long even when we were absent. Buffet was very good. I would add more variety though but the quality is there. (I've had more variety in smaller hotels in Hanoi) The dining room is beautiful and service is great for that area. Only thing I didn't like to see was the dirty and stained carpets in the hallway of my floor. It was quite stained and some parts of the walls were also. But in general, it was a great place to stay. Good location.

Good location and walkable to a lot of things within the city! However the walls are pretty thin. Luckily everyone was quiet during sleeping hours but it was early morning that got to us. Our neighbor was a heavy sleepy and wouldn’t turn off their alarm for 15 minutes and we could hear it through the wall. Also could hear the staff in the hallway early mornings as well. Other than that good place to stay.

Room was small and the shower room and toilet doors were opening to the room touching the floor, making water come to the room's floor. It was not a big problem and not a maintenance issue but how the room was built/designed. Otherwise, service was great - staff were all very helpful and kind; location was very convenient (5 minute walk to the lake, to cathedral, to Circle K (24 hour convenience store), to banh mi stores, to a number of local cafes. We are happy with our stay at Grand Cititel Hotel.

The location is really optimal: we visited the whole city within walking distance from the hotel but it was still quiet. Very close to the central lake with the red bridge; that whole area is closed to cars from Friday to Sunday which is super nice to wander around. Rooms are large, comfortable beds, good A/C. Great breakfast buffet including eggs prepared as you wish. Very friendly staff.

The location was perfect. So close to everything including Hoan Kiem Lake. No need for transport, you can walk everywhere. The staff were amazing, very friendly and able to help with any requests including booking of transport and tours. I stayed in a room with a balcony which was nice to watch the goings on of the neighbourhood. It was very clean and comfortable. The hotel had a rooftop bar with amazing views especially at night, nice to round off a busy day with a drink. Breakfast was good and the food was excellent.

Excellent value for the $$$. We have to travel back through Hanoi on our way to Danang and will stay here again. The hotel is in a banking and corporate area, so there are police everywhere. A ten minute walk to the Hipster/yuppie area.

Det er absolutt ikke ille, men når betjeningen begynner å mase på at man må skynde seg 20 min før frokosten skal stenge, slår av brødristeren og lar være å etterfylle mat/drikke får man et dårlig inntrykk. Treningsrommet som er avbildet på nettsidene til hotell.com er ikke av rommet på hotellet… Vil også kommentere at det er svært lytt mellom rommene alle veier.
